Absolutely Perfect!

This house made me feel like I was at home. My kids had a great time because they had their own personal space - the entire bottom floor was theirs. It's in a great location, a quiet street, overlooking a golf course and the ocean just beyond that. The grocery store is only 5 minutes away. The only comment I have is there needs to be labels on the light switches. There are so many, it would just make a visitors time easier to know what each switch is for. Other than that, I would recommend it to anyone and I would definitely stay there again.

Our Families' Wonderful Experience

Our family- all ten of us- spent a long weekend at Hale Bale Hai. The house is just breathtaking; the amazing kitchen led to great food and a great money savings. The kitchen had everything we needed to make these delicious meals, we even had the grill going. We played games, listen to Hawaiian cd's, made puzzles all in the playroom, enjoy the jacuzzi on the deck. The house was so beautiful, we made a special effort to leave it as we found it with sparkling counters and shiny floors. The bedrooms were all very large and very private, We loved the master bedroom with the beautiful master bath. Having so many people it was nice having a little privacy. For anyone you wishes for a true North Shore Kauai experience, this is a place we are sending our friends to. We live on the North Shore of Oahu and this was a stay-vacation for us and living in paradise on Oahu, we really didn't expect better or more than our own home. But Hale Bali Hai is special, unbelieveable location, easy to work with owner, and most of all, a feeling of the Kauai privacy and beauty. We can truly say that this is a beautiful place to stay, an owner to trust and ease to work with, a home with privacy and special feelings. It is a house you walk in and takes your breathe away and that is hard for people like us to say who live on the surfing beaches of the North Shore of Oahu. Highly recommended! NICE PLACE WITH LOTS OF ROOM

We had a very enjoyable stay and the owner even allowed us to exceed the occupancy guidelines with a couple extra kids. The kitchen is beautiful and spacious. The weather was very rainy during our stay so the lack of air conditioning was a bit of an annoyance but we made it through with ceiling and pedestal fans. The hot tub is nice with powerful jets, though we would have liked it a little hotter. Access to Queen's Bath could not be more convenient and it is within short driving distance of all north shore sites. The "toy shed" in the back provided beach & biking supplies that came in handy. Overall, it was a very nice stay for our large family group and we would certainly stay there again if the need were to arise.

Property is spacious and well equipped. Views spectacular. The neighborhood is in a good location, feels safe and is quiet. The house is showing some wear and some furnishings are dated. Kitchen faucet needs repair as well as some window coverings and fans. One bike had a flat tire. The house was clean when we arrived.

We just returned from a week long vacation on Kauai and enjoyed our stay at this property immensely. The home fit our group of 6 very nicely with lots of space to spare. The property's location is ideally located at a quiet cul de sac with spectacular ocean views as seen in the pictures. The living space is nice and open with many areas to enjoy. The kitchen is beautiful, huge and well stocked. We enjoyed preparing many meals there. The owner, Jiletta, was very nice and most accommodating with all of our questions. You could not possibly be disappointed if you stayed here! We will definitely be back!

We rented this lovely house for my 60th birthday in Sept. 2012. Worked out great there were 7 of us my children, sister and niece. This house is fantastic. What a view. The view shown is the real view from the kitchen dining room and sitting room also the deck. Would love to go back. Very easy to rent from, Jiletta easy to work with. No problems at all.

Just returned home to Phoenix, AZ from our week in paradise. I booked this home for my group of family & friends for my wedding. We had 12 people total ranging from our kids 14-22 yrs old to our parents in their 70's. EVERYONE loved this beautiful home & couldn't believe their eyes when the first walked in. The kitchen is beautiful & we did cook several meals at the house. The view is spectacular. Everyone in our group is counting the days until our next visit (which will have to be at least 2 weeks next time!). Will definitely book this home again & again!

40th Anniversary/Holiday trip

Our family of 4 spent the Christmas holiday in this home and it was perfect. Plenty of space and very comfortable. Everything we needed was supplied and all we had to buy was the food. It was very convenient to the beaches, hiking and restaurants/shopping. It took about an hour to get to the other side of the island but most of our fun days were spent in and around the North Shore. We don't even golf and we loved the place! The view was beautiful and the neighborhood quiet with a great walking trail. Oh, and our 30 something kids loved the place also - they had their private spaces too.

Already Planning My Return Next Year

I spent two weeks here this summer and can't imagine a more perfect place to stay while on Kauai! The place has been lovingly remodeled, and it shows; it is beautifully decorated and charming. What struck me the most, after having stayed at various rental homes in the past, is that this place has a warm, family feeling that makes it seem more like you're returning "home" after a day out rather than simply heading back to the place you're renting. The location of this house is also perfect! The views are stunning, and we spent many nights watching the incredible sunsets framed by the mountains on one side and the ocean on the other. The house is close to a series of beaches, shopping, restaurants, and outdoor activities, and everything was convenient to get to. The owner had beach equipment here for us to use, which made it very easy to just pack the family up and head out for the day. I couldn't have been happier with this place, and, as the title says, I'm already looking forward to returning next year!

A Week To Remember In A Beautiful House!

Arriving at this house is impressive with the lush tropical foilage surrounding the house and property. Opening the front door and walking into this open beautifully decorated home set the stage for our visit to Kauai. WOW! This house provides all of the amenities one would need on an island vacation. When we were ready to go to the beach all our needs were met with snorkel gear, boogie boards, umbrellas, and when we returned the outdoor lava shower was perfect for rinsing us & all the gear. The spacious gourmet kitchen provided for all our cooking needs and was stocked with spices, pots and pans, etc. Relaxing on the upper deck watching the sunset overlooking Bali Hai was an experience to remember. The owner was extremely helpful and made sure our stay was enjoyable and memorable. We would recommend this house to anyone wanting a peaceful and relaxing visit to the island of Kauai. We know where will will stay on our next visit!

Our family frequent Kauai as it is the perfect vacation away from home. This house and locating could not be anymore perfect. Just when we thought that our annual trip to Kauai could not possibly get better....we found this jewel in Princeville. The sunsets are amazing the the location cannot be beat. What an amazing place! The pictures don't do the view justice. The ocean/golf course views truly are breath-taking! The lanai is perfect for enjoyinging those views. The house is beautifully appointed and more than we expected. We spent more time "at home" than out and about. We had 6 adults stay plus 2 more that joined us most of the time. There was more than enough space and the kitchen was a joy to be in. Great location in Princeville, we all would highly recommend this house to friends, family and we all want to come back! The owner was wonderful to work with. You won't be disappointed if you stay here!

The home was immaculate and comfortable. A beautiful view off the patio, a lower level with a jacuzzi, outdoor shower, and covered hammock -- just what we needed after a day's adventure on the island. If you like to cook (as I do), the kitchen will put a smile on your face. We stayed a week and definitely plan to return.

A Beautiful Setting for an Unforgettable Hawaiian Vacation

Being in Hawaii (especially from NYC) is a relaxing, spectacular experience in and of itself, however, staying at the Hale Bali Hai created a Hawaiian vacation beyond any of my expectations. The house itself is gorgeous, and all of the recent updates and improvements the owner has made give it the perfect island feel - great views and island breezes in every room. Every amenity you could possibly need is provided for your stay - from dishes and linens to beach umbrellas and snorkel gear. Even with a large group, we had more than enough room to spread out and relax. This was the perfect place to spend the day snorkeling at neighboring Queens Bath followed by a rinse in the awesome lava rock shower, laying on the hammock reading a book, cooking up some fresh fish in the spacious gourmet kitchen, sipping a fruity drink on the large patio while watching the sunset over the ocean, and finishing off with a soak in the hot tub. The owner was exceptionally friendly and eager to provide the best experience possible. I would definitely recommend this house to anyone visiting Kauai. I can't wait to go back!

We stayed here for a week and had the best time! The house is beautifully furnished and lends itself to a comfortable vacation! The back patio was a favorite place to watch the sunset - followed by relaxing in the hot tub. Across the street is the trail leading to Queen's Bath - great for exploring or a morning swim. Wow! Just got back from my amazing stay at a beautiful home in Kauai. It was my first time visiting Hawaii and it now will definitely not be my last, the week long visit was absolutely wonderful. The home we stayed in was BEAUTIFUL!!! But I enjoyed the view outside the large living room windows the most, it included a stunning golf course, lush mountains, and a breathtaking view of the ocean! The spacious house was well furnished and made the stay very comfortable. All in all, I was very pleased with my decision to stay in this home and plan to again in the near future. Everything went smoothly and I am so glad I stayed here while visiting Kauai! I highly recommend to anyone who is considering this home.

You will not believe this place....

My girlfriend and I spent several nights at this unbelievably beautiful home. When you first walk in, the dark hardwood floors and the "openess" will catch your eye..and from there it just gets better. The kitchen is fantastic and the unshaded, slatted windows let the breezes past through. The home is surrounded by lush green vegetation..and the lanai has an unequaled view of Bala Hai...what a great place to enjoy a bottle of red while watching the sunset. I could go on and on...but, I found the owner to be very responsive and attentive to our needs. I guarantee you will not be disappointed and almost guarantee that you will be telling your friends and family of this experience for many years!

Spectacular Home!

We had a wonderful family vacation over the Memorial week. From a 3 month-old to Grandma, we had 7 people staying at this spectacular home. Plenty of room for the entire family. Our days would begin with fresh papaya and mangoes from the Tuesday and Saturday farmers market in Hanalei (just a short 5 minute drive from the house) to exploring the beautiful beaches all around the island. We would find fresh fish from roadside vendors. $25 for Ahi caught that day fed us for dinner and 2 lunches! We loved making fish tacos! So much to do in Princeville and the entire island, but we really enjoyed just staying at home and making dinners. The kitchen is magnificent and everything you could possibly need was provided. The sunsets were spectacular each evening as we sat on the large deck facing Hanalei Bay, then a jacuzzi, then fresh fish to bar-be-que and the family game of cards (Capitalism!) We can't wait to go back!

I left this place already wanting to return. I could list the practicalities (spacious layout, immaculate cleanliness, incredible location both for staying in and getting around the island...and on and on), but it's the magic that stays with you when you have the perfect combination of all these things that is priceless. I stayed here over the Valentine's day week with my boyfriend, and it was absolute paradise. Not only was the space clean, welcoming and gorgeous, but all the amenities and proximity to Queen's Bath made it more than I could have hoped for. Though we were just 2 people staying, there was so much space for more couples, or families to comfortably stay. Hot tub overlooking Na'pali coast?! Deck with views of the ocean every morning!? Beautiful, light, airy interior design?! All in one place, absolutely perfect. Go here, stay a long time, and get relaxed.

This Princeville luxury home is awe inspiring, and affords you a relaxed South Pacific most only dream about. From the moment you enter this home you are welcomed by it's rich Brazilian Cherry floors and native lava rock foyer. The views of the ocean and Bali Hai will take your breadth away and you will know from that instant that you will never want to leave this elegant island retreat. Ocean breezes, tropical song birds and fragrant island flowers will awake in you feelings you have never experienced. The amenities of this lovely home are all first class. I especially found the outdoor lava rock shower, built by hand by the owner, truly energizes you, You will never want to shower indoors again, although there are superb facilities inside...I always looked forward to my showers outside in privacy with the roar of the ocean in the distance. Its location in upscale Princeville is perfect, from its many nearby beaches, stores and hiking trails to sight seeing activities. Be sure to save time to hike the Napoli coast, it is a hike for the experienced hiker that will leave you breathless. You will ask why you haven't found this slice of paradise sooner. Aloha!

Staying at the Kauai house is one of my favorite vacation spots! I have been fortunate enough to be a return visitor and have loved every minute of being there. The house is spacious, welcoming and perfect size for all of our family and friends. It is in a fabulous location with a perfect view of sunsets that are breathtaking! The owner leaves this guidebook with her suggestions, everything from the best snorkel spot and best restaurants to where to go to get the best souvenirs. It is like having your own personal tour guide! I have truly loved every minute I have spent there and can’t wait to go back!!!

My family and I have been vacationing in Hawaii for the past 21 years and own several time shares on Kauai and Maui. We have had the Grand opportunity to stay in this most elegant home several times. By far, this has been our most favorite home to visit. The views are breathtaking. Our most favorite view of Hanalei Bay and Bali Hai in the background are seen from the sitting room and dining area as well as the kitchen. The mountain views with the spectacular waterfalls are seen from the living room and the kitchen also. The sleeping arrangements allow for wonderful family get togethers or to have friends vacation together yet to maintain necessary privacy. The recent remodel of the property makes this one of the most luxurious properties on the North Shore of Kauai. The photos of the property are accurately reflected, the home is meticulously maintained and the location on the north shore of Kauai is perfect. The owner is fabulous and ready to answer any and all of one's questions. The North Shore offers wonderful restaurants in Hanalei as well as in Princeville. Activities are abundant. I highly recommend this property for your next Hawaiian Vacation (as well as mine in the future). JCJBMD

This was my first time to Kauai and it couldn't have been any better. The location was perfect and the house was in excellent shape. The floorplan was cool, plenty of room, and there were a lot of windows. There's even a hammock! My biggest memories are from sitting on the balcony you see in the pic above and having breakfast as the sun rose. The view couldn't be any better. Don't really think I can say one bad thing.

As a realtor....I do talk about location, location, location....and this is a awesome location! I had a wonderful experience here. The house is beautiful, loads of room for a big family or groups of friends getting together as we did. The kitchen is huge and what fun we had cooking, laughing and filling our bellies! The floor plan is perfect for entertaining and large enough if you just want some quiet time. The patio spa area was a great place to relax during the evening and the views are incredible. Loved it! Loved it! We'll be back with a new group of friends. Thanks for a fabulous vacation for all!

This beautiful home is perfect for families who want to spend time together and still have some personal space. The floor plan allows for adults to have late nights with the kids tucked in, or teenagers enjoying their space too. Lots of room, unbelievable views, beautifully remodeled, privacy plus great location to the wonders of the island. Incredible upgrades. Bring the family - you won't be disapointed!

Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We stayed in this gorgeous home with 12 people and it was amazing. There was so much room! We had a great time on our vacation and I would recommend this home and island to anyone! The home is beautifully decorated- the pictures don't even begin to show how wonderful it is. The layout is very spacious so even when there are a lot of people there you are not too corwded. Every night we watched the sunset from the patio or went onto the golf course. The island is gorgeous and easy to get around. The bedrooms are large and the bed was very comfortable. The bathrooms were very clean and updated- we never ran out of hot water! I hope to return again very soon!!

Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Aloha, Your home is amazing, we had a great time. Mahalo for going through the guidebook for us. Our favorite was the Hanalei Dolphin. The best sight on the idland is the sunset off your lanai!!

What can we say- this was paradise! The scenary was gorgeous and your home, wonderful. We made the most of our meals in your spectacular kitchen and enjoyed the sunsets from the lanai daily. So sad to leave but will be back. Mahalo!!!

This place was amazing! The view from the backyard is jaw-dropping and golf, secluded beaches and the resort are all within walking distance! The house was very comfortable and is recommended to all! I had some great memories while staying here.

Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We never believed we would be so overwhelmed by the shear beauty of this island. We loved every bit, the people, the local customs, food, and the flowers! So much to do and so little time. This has been a very special week for us- to be able to spend our "down" time in your lovely home has been an added blessing! My 86 year olde mother feels like she has already died and gone to heaven! My aunt has been speechless (which is quite unusual for her!) over the beauty of the island and the luxery of our accomodations. I am so grateful that your home was avaliable for our spur of the moment trip. It means the world to me I was able to create some beautiful memories with my mom and aunt in this incredible place! Thank you for everything!

Wow! What a fantastic house, location & Hawaiian experience extraoidenaire. The family of 11 in total had a terrific time celebrating our 50th anniversary. Everything was perfect! Ate one meal out that didn't compare to the gourmet fare we cooked up at night in the kitchen! This house is extremely user friendly and the aread is definitly adventure-some friendly. We will always remember this occasion and the sunsets over the bay!

Among all the things that are fablous about this house, the ocean view is on most breathtaking. And the stars, hovering over made an exceptionally romantic touch.The time I have spent here are most precious and I m sure to treasure it for many years to come. We don't know the Ryans personally but we do know that they are people of excellent judgement and taste. Their beautiful home and location was very special. We had a marvelous time on Kauai made better by staying in this beautiful home. We hope to make it an annual event. Mahalo.
