Wake up to beautiful sunrises every day of your vacation in this 4,800 square-foot custom home tucked away at the end of a private cul-de-sac in the exclusive Painted Rock subdivision in Squaw Valley, Ca. With breathtaking views of Painted Rock from the expansive windows in the Master Suite, Living Room, Kitchen, and Dining Room, guests will truly appreciate the beauty of the surrounding mountains. This home gets full sunlight all day long, which can be enjoyed from one of its 2 large decks on the top floor, or 2 decks on the bottom floor. There is an indoor Endless Pool for swimming laps, and an outdoor hot tub with a covered deck to provide shelter from the elements.
This home loves to entertain. With vaulted ceilings, expansive wood work and custom masonry throughout, there is a grandiose feeling in every room. The dining room, with its expansive stone archway, boasts a table large enough to comfortably seat 14 guests for dinner. A beautiful baby grand piano and sitting area compliment the room. The gourmet kitchen is a chef’s dream, and is equipped with stainless steel top-of-the line appliances. The living room features a floor to ceiling custom granite gas fireplace, and a loft.
The master suite is approximately 800 square feet and has its own private decks. It has spectacular vaulted ceilings, expansive windows to take in the full views of the mountains, a gas woodstove, king-size bed, plasma TV, and a treadmill. The expansive master bath has a walk-in double-headed shower and a oversized claw foot bathtub.
The downstairs bedrooms are adjoined by a bathroom. One bedroom has a queen size bed, and the other has two twins. Both bedrooms are comfortable and quiet. There is an office that can furnish an additional full-size bed if needed. Another full-size bed can also be added to the loft.

About the owner: We live and play in Squaw Valley and currently have a second home so we plan to vacation renting this one in 2010.
