Located on World Famous Alii Drive our White Sands Village condominium is 70 yards away from the only White Sand beach in Kailua-Kona. We are located 4 miles south of Kailua Village Pier and less than 2 miles north of Keauhou.

Our comfortable, expansive and central AC equipped 1,010 square foot (+ lanai), 2BR/2BA condo boasts a PERFECT complex location (overlooking the pool) in the desirable front Building and features a premium sized 27' wide lanai with an Ocean view.

Our fully updated condominium includes extras such as: Tiled kitchen/baths/lanai, new (2006) King Beautyrest Bed in MBR, new dining room set (2007), glass top stove, built in microwave, Casablanca ceiling fans in all major rooms/lanai, comfortable/quality island rattan furnishings, 27" flat TV, 6 panel interior doors,large stack washer/dryer, 2nd TV with DVD in MBR and pleasing art-work. There is dedicated, covered parking for two cars.

The large master bedroom with private bath adjoins the Lanai where you can listen to the surf at night. Twin beds in second bedroom with newer sleeper couch in the living room.

The White Sands Village complex is well maintained with expansive plantings, lawns, and free reservable tennis courts. Jamison's restaurant (ocean front dining) is across the street.

Our guests receive exclusive, detailed information including our favorite guidebook recommendation, beaches, snorkeling, hiking and suggested free (with rental car) day adventures.

Note: Our condominium is an excellant value and frequently booked several months in advance. Consider checking our availability calendar before you book airfare. By coordinating with our existing bookings we may be able to provide savings.

  • Air Conditioning: Central Air Conditioning (Note - usually not needed - just open up the doors and set the ceiling fans on low!

  • Linens Provided: Beach Towels are also provided.
  • Covered Parking: Assigned parking for 2 cars in tandem (front to back)
  • Off Street Parking: Extra parking is available for visitors.
  • Elevator: We are on the first living level; the ground floor is parking. Stairwell is quicker and right next to the elevator. Elevator is located 1 1/2 units from ours with no stairs.

  • Shared Pool: 1 freeform pool on property. Pool is seldom if ever crowded. Diapered children can NOT use pool. There is an adjacent inflated tot pool for the little ones.
  • Sauna: Sauna is next to the office and free of charge.

• Outdoor Features
  • Gas/Electric BBQ Grill: There are 3 or 4 propane fired barbeques in the covered barbeque area. One is almost always available for use.
  • Lanai: Lanai overlooks the pool with an ocean view off to the side. We nearly always eat on the lanai (except when the sun is shining on the table area) as its very pleasant.
• View/Location
  • Beach View: Public beach is 70 yards away. You need to walk across Alii drive to the park which is not problem as long as you are old enough to safely cross. There is good lines of sight to cross.
  • Ocean View: Beach is 70 yards away. View is from the lanai, not from inside the unit.
• Communications
  • Telephone: Long distance is blocked except for toll free numbers. Calling cards are inexpensive.
  • WiFi (Wireless Internet): WiFi signal is normally available on the lanai but not Guaranteed. There is an internet cafe in the Keauhou shopping center about 1 1/2 miles south of us. The complex is discussing putting in a wifi system but its not there yet.
• Other Amenities
  • Casablanca ceiling fans in each major room, Parking is dedicated for 2 cars, Handicapped Accessible (no stairs but use of elevator required)and free reservable Tennis Courts
• Suitability
  • No Pets Allowed: We have a great unit and we love pets but we don't love pets in our unit!
  • Handicapped Accessible (may have limitations): No stairs to enter unit with the use of the elevator but no other provisions. The Master Bathroom shower requires you to step over a threshold about 6" high.
  • Wheelchair Accessible (may have limitations): No stairs to enter unit with the use of the elevator but no other provisions. The Master Bathroom shower requires you to step over a threshold about 6" high.
  • Kid Friendly: With the free form pool and all 2 BR units there are a lot of families that stay at WSV for their vacation.
  • Smoking Not Allowed: If you insist this rule does not apply to you please book with another owner. I don't want you in my unit. You can smoke on the lanai if you really must.

2008 base rate ... $749/week + maid + tax. Addl nights: $107/night + tax
Add $95 maid/turnover and 11.25% tax.
6 Night rate is weekly rate less $50.
Minimum booking is 6 nights unless booking next to an existing booking.
2009 low season .. $770/week + maid + tax.
Special: Oct 14-Oct 23 (10 nights). Pay for 8 nights - get 10!
