Cozy Cottage is the ideal place for a relaxing getaway. It is located on a hill side in the private gated community of Bear Paw on Lake Hiwassee. The cottage is in walking distance of the tennis courts, playground, club house, pool, and fishing pond. The nearby marina has boats available for rent. You will find wireless internet at the club house 24/7.
Cozy Cottage was built in the 1930 to house the Hiwassee Dam construction workers. The cottage has been modernized with today’s conveniences. This cottage provides the backdrop for a relaxing vacation away from all your worries. While in the rocking chairs on the porch you can sit and enjoy your favorite cup of coffee. It is like going back in time when life was much less complex! You will hate to leave Bear Paw and return to the hectic real world.

Bear Paw is a wonderful & cozy place to vacation. My husband and I love that the resort has so much to offer. We enjoy boating on the lake and swimming in the olympic size pool. We located a hiking trail within driving distance that has amazing waterfalls which we explored with our dogs. The cozy cottage is comfortable and very clean. We love being able to vacation with our dogs cause they are family!! I have recommended this place and Hilltop Cabin to lots of my friends! We look forward to our next visit, which i'm sure will be soon!!!Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, pet owners, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.
