My mom, mother-in-law, 5 daughters, 1 niece and myself enjoyed 3 nights at All Seasons Lodge. Our ages ranged from 17 to 83 and we were all VERY impressed with the Lodge and it's surroundings! In fact, our first glimpse of the outside of the Lodge as well as when we walked into the great room produced a WOW from each of us!!! Then as we oriented ourselves with our new "home" we found that everything we needed or could have wanted was provided. One daughter found a Christmas music channel on Direct TV and tuned both upstairs and downstairs televisions to that station so that we had great background music. We had great fun playing games, cooking, quietly reading and just generally relaxing together. I even loved doing laundry in the wonderful laundry room! My mom has mobility issues so the elevator gave her freedom to zip around on both levels of the Lodge. She was so appreciative! Everyone in our party was so thankful to the Lord for our time together and we all agreed that we want to return for another Getaway and maybe even allow the men of the family to join us! God Bless both Darla, the owner, and Chase, her manager!!! They were very easy to work with, extremely kind and returned calls in a timely manner. All Seasons Lodge is HIGHLY recommended!!!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

The house exceeded our expections and was perfect for our family. There was room enough for everyone and a lot to do with the hot tub, pool table, foosball and fully furnished lower finished basement. You can tell the owners take pride in keeping the house in perfect shape. They made it easy to stay green and recycle. The house was nicely decorated and it was homey and welcoming.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

This was a beautiful property with lots of special touches to make us feel pampered, such as the hot tub, jacuzzi, pool table, amazing shower, lots of space, a rustic pond with fountain, and comfy furniture. The elevator enabled our granddaughter to have full access to anywhere in the lodge. The only concern was the bumpy ground leading to the outside firepit. We did not use the firepit because she couldn't get around to the space where it was. We enjoyed our stay in the lodge!Recommended for: People with disabilities, age 55+, girls getaway, romantic getaway.
Owner response: We thank you very much for taking the time to leave a review of our All Seasons Lodge! We appreciate your kind words about your experience at the lodge. Due to the geography of the lodge being built on the Buckeye Trail and the State Park rock formation region, even with custom builder final grading of all areas around the exterior of the home, it is unfortunately not as smooth as city area land. I know we host several of the same families each year that have someone in their group in a power wheelchair that use the fire pit. However, I assume maybe the wheelchair you are referring to may be a smaller non-power wheelchair and I can see where that would present some extra challenges to get to the firepit area in that situation. I am so glad your granddaughter had full use of the entire interior of the home, utilized the flat concrete parking area and wheelchair ramp, elevator and wide doorways throughout the lodge. It is the only commercial grade American Disability Act rental property in all of the Hocking Hills region. We were very glad to have you and thank you for leaving the lodge in such good condition at your check out. It was greatly appreciated!

We enjoyed our 5 nights here so much. We wish we were not packing the car right now and could just stay here longer. The lodge is beautiful and very nicely furnished. The bonfire pit and hot tub were some of our very favorites. The kids favorite things were the foosball and pool table, and leaving the property one day for a zip lining trip. This setting was so relaxing and quiet, yet so close to the State Park. Thank you for calling the dog catcher for us to tell them about the sweet stray dog that wondered onto the property throughout our stay. By the time he got here, the dog wondered off again BUT came back again as we were packing to leave. The kids fell in love with the dog for the past several days so needless to say, we have one additional passenger for the ride back home. Her newly given name is Maggie per the kids! Must be fate as we were planning on getting a family pet. The kids are THRILLED to add Maggie to our family!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 3/3

We absolutley love this place!! Our stay was fantastic. The house and property was beautiful and very close to Ash Cave which is very pretty also. The Customer Service was very professtional and helpful and answered all of our questions. We had no problems with the amenities. The house was very clean and well kept. The beds were very comfortable. I would recommend 4 Seasons Hideaways to everyone. This place was awesome!!!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Our 3 night family reunion in Hocking Hills last month was frustrating mainly because of the lack of customer service by Chase and Darla, who represent the 4 Seasons Hideaway. To be fair, I will first list the positives: 1. Great private location and only a 5 minute drive from Ash Cave 2. Beautiful, upscale home with lots of space. Unfortunately, there were many negative aspects to our stay that could have been improved with better customer service from 4 Seasons Hideaway: 1. Upon arrival, I cleaned/knocked down large spider webs from all of the entrances to the house (4 sets of doors). When I reported this to Chase, he assured me that the cleaners knock the webs down every time they clean, and they supposedly cleaned the day of our arrival. When we left 4 days later, I did not notice any new webs or spiders 2. All the ceiling fans had a fairly thick coating of dust- signifying poor cleaning methods 3. We found and discarded 2 needles which were on the kitchen floor 4. The hot tub lid was broken in 2 pieces, was water-logged, and heavy to move. The water had a green tint to it, and a frog in it, but Chase assured me that it was cleaned by a local company. 5. The bed linens were so worn, that it felt like sleeping on sandpaper. Chase informed me that they replace the sheets 1x/year, and he seemed proud of this fact. 6. There was no lawn to speak of. It was all weeds, and not conducive to playing in the yard. 7. There was a 2 foot long mud wasp nest on the front door, which was knocked down and found to be full of eggs. 8. MY BIGGEST COMPLAINT AND DISAPPOINTMENT INVOLVED THE AIR CONDITIONING, OR LACK OF, IN THE HOUSE. DURING OUR STAY THE OUTSIDE TEMPS WERE IN THE LOW 90S. UNFORTUNATELY, THE INSIDE TEMPS ON THE MAIN FLOOR WERE 85 DEGREES FROM OUR ARRIVAL AT 4PM, UNTIL WE WENT TO BED. THIS PERSISTED FOR THE LENGTH OF OUR STAY. I informed Chase, and he sent his maintenance man to fix it. He was there for 2 hrs, and could not resolve the problem. The next day, a local company spent nearly 3 hrs trying to fix it, without success. Chase told me he would provide fans if the A/C didn't get fixed. I called their phone number Friday, Saturday and Sunday and after our trip. I still have not heard back from them. I thought they should refund some money for our stay, but they told me they did not have to based on the VRBO contract. Will not recommend 4 Seasons to anybody. It's a shame bc it is a nice property, just poorly managed.Recommended for: People with disabilities
Owner response: We strive to provide excellent customer service. After gladly speaking with the guest over a dozen times, it was clear we could not meet his expectations. On day of arrival, he contacted us to inform the air conditioning was broken. We immediately dispatched maintenance. To our surprise, we were told there was not anything wrong with AC. The guest communicated he felt the maintance man was incorrect. So, to provide excellent customer service, I dispatched a 26 yrs of experience HVAC business owner that personally came out for an emergency wknd service call fee. He told us the same thing, that the AC is not broken. The professional reported the guest was requesting the temp be in the mid sixties inside the house when the exterior temperature was between ninety five and one hundred degrees. HVAC service said our system is top of the line and typically not seen out in the country. He reported no system, even high end Trane System on site is capable of maintaining an interior temperature of thirty five to forty degrees cooler than the outdoors. With explaining this, the guest did not agree with HVAC service owner. We gladly agreed to purchase and deliver fans IF the system was broken. Since it was not, we did not take that costly step, especially since we just paid for an emergency service call that was deemed in no need of service. The guest stated he was upset that a raccoon damaged 4 exterior deck chairs when food was left out on patio table overnight. Although there were still over a dozen undamaged exterior chairs, we still purchased 4 more and delivered them within 2 hours of notification to provide good customer service and reduce inconvenience to guest. The guest wanted new sheets vs sheets that were only 6 months old at time of his stay. Then, guest was upset that he felt he had to knock down a few exterior cob webs and stated he located 2 small and fine sewing needles in the Amish hand scrapped floor grooves. It is possible the head of housekeeping missed it with broom and steam mop. I apologized and offered to send her out for that. The guest said they wanted monetary compensation or would leave a negative review. The lodging guests directly before and after his stay were very pleased with their lodging experience! We feel badly that we tried so hard, yet could not meet his level of expectations. Luckily, it is an isolated incident in 4 entire years of renting our vacation home for others to enjoy.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and my family saw much beauty in this lodge both inside and out. We stayed over Christmas 2011 and it was a home away from home ! We all had a wonderful time and had enough room for all of us to be together and also to have some quiet time too. We plan on coming back to this lodge again and recommend it to everyone!!!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

I loved this property! This house is absolutely stunning, down to every last detail! IT EXCEEDED ALL OF MY EXPECTATIONS! I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a weekend or week long get-away to an absolutely beautiful house in the Hocking Hills. This house is perfect for accommodating a family, a girl’s get away, or a hunting trip with the guys. There is abundant private property on site for hiking and exploring. I found a large cave I found while hiking on a remote part of the property. There are also several large state parks and a National Forrest nearby for the hikers, deer hunters and nature lovers to enjoy. All Seasons Lodge’s close proximity to the best attractions in Hocking Hills makes this property a perfect fit for a great vacation. I doubt you could find a nicer property and accommodations in the area than the All Seasons Lodge. I am already excited for my trip back to All Seasons Lodge next year!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We stayed at All Season's Lodge for a full week for our son's wedding at nearby Hocking Hills Resort. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the tasteful decor and upper-end furnishings found throughout the lodge and the well-maintained grounds. The house easily accommodated our large family and slept 9 adults and one child comfortably. Everything we needed was at our fingertips and the layout was fantastic. After the wedding, we were able to really enjoy everything the lodge had to offer with our son, new daughter and grandson. We could not have asked for anything more. The setting lent itself to long walks in the woods, relaxing afternoons by the pond and starry evenings in the hot tub. The weather didn’t always cooperate, but there was plenty to do inside with our grandson playing pool, foosball and board games. It was the PERFECT place for a family get-together/get-away As for the rental process, it was painless thanks to frequent and open communication with Chase Waits. Thank you for sharing your very special home with us. We would definitely consider renting this unique property again in the future.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

My family recently stayed in this home for a long-weekend getaway. We expected the home to be pretty based on the pictures, but it exceeded our expectations. We needed a home that was wheelchair accessible and were amazed that we were able to find such a gorgeous lodge that met such a rare requirement. We loved the area and felt there were plenty of activities to keep us busy, including horseback riding, kayaking, hiking and zip lining. We also spent a lot of our time on the scenic property enjoying the hot tub, media room and pool table. We were able to prepare large family style meals in the well stocked kitchen and we all felt like we had our own private retreats in the beautifully decorated bedrooms. We would highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a high-end lodge with a lot of modern amenities.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Wow! My family and I stayed 2 nights at All Seasons Lodge. It was wonderful. Everything we could need was there. Even when the power went out for a few hours (due to weather) the backup generator kept ran the things we needed. We will definitely return for our next family outing! I would recommend this place to everyone!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
