Seven Mile Beach condo description
Beautiful, Amazing, Unforgettable.
Located on stunning 7 Mile Beach in Grand Cayman, our two bedroom, two bath unit is right on the beach with incredible, unobstructed, views of the ocean. Often named as one of the five best beaches in the world, this is perhaps the finest location on that beach! Soft white sand; aqua blue clear waters; air and sea temperatures in the mid 80's and picture perfect sunsets every single night make our stretch of beach one of the most sought after addresses in the Caribbean. If you are looking to celebrate special moment or occasion, or just want to get away for the ultimate relaxing vacation, we promise you will be delighted and satisfied.
Our villa is located about halfway down Seven Mile Beach. Directly to our left is the resplendent Ritz Carlton Grand Cayman, with every luxury the Ritz is know for, and to our left, is the the sumptuous Westin Casuarina. These are the two nicest hotels on the island, and not only evidences the prime location of our Villas, it also offers our guests all the amenities of a 5 star hotel without having to stay in one! Our exclusive beach is clean, quiet and private. Chaise lounges and towels are provided for you to relax beside the water, under an umbrella, or in the water. Have coffee and a bagel on you own private patio instead of at the hotel coffee shop. And when you are ready for a little action, you will find world class restaurants, bars, shopping, pools and people watching just steps to either side of us. It is truly the best of all worlds.
This second story, 2 bedroom, 2 bath condominium offers a brand new full kitchen, private balcony, vaulted ceilings, both broadband internet & Wi-Fi, and all the amenities you would expect to find in a first class hotel, yet with the comfort of a home and space to stretch out. The master suite upstairs offers a king size bed, its own bath and walk in closet, TV and tropical furnishings. The downstairs bedroom offers a queen bed, TV and plenty of closet space and furnishings.
All condos are not equal! Some have not been refurbished, some are not maintained, and some do receive daily maid service and support from on site personnel. Make sure you are getting what you are looking for!
Our unit has been completely renovated and offers classic, Caribbean furnishings that are elegant yet fun and comfortable. We personally outfitted our unit for our own use, and no expense was spared in making it the perfect tropical retreat for business or pleasure. We maintain it to the highest standard, and make sure our guests receive the same treatment.
The Villas of the Galleon Complex is one of favorites of those who know the islands. Prime location, great beach, and many nearby amenities, it has recently undergone a total renovation and is a truly delightful place to spend your days.
An onsite management company provides hotel like amenities such as daily maid service, towel and beach chair service, and will attend to any needs you may have during your stay. All the comforts of a hotel stay, with the autonomy of having your own condo.
We are walking distance to many great restaurants, shops, bars, tours, grocery, hotels and much more. There are at least a dozen high end gourmet dining experiences within walking distance, lots of local eateries, shops, boutiques, a first class grocery store, cigar lounges, spas and wellness centers, you name it! Plus there is world class diving with boats that will pick you up right on the beach, and for non divers, there is a terrific reef located right off our beach that is easy to snorkel out to.
You can also take a ferry to rum point, go on a jet ski adventure tour, visit the turtle farm, do a harbor cruise, parasail, shop for exquisite jewelry, take a submarine ride, swim with the stingrays at stingray city, or just enjoy world class dining and a fabulous bottle of wine at one of the outstanding seaside restaurants just walking distance from our Villa. Then stroll home in the moonlight without a care on our safe, clean, romantic beach.

A Week in Paradise
A Week in Paradise
My husband and I and another couple stayed in this beautiful villa for an amazing 7 days. It was just as described and more! We could not have been more pleased with this property and its location. Everything was clean and ready for us upon our arrival. Lisa checked us in within minutes of our arrival. We went straight to our condo, unpacked, and took the short walk to the grocery and liquor stores. It was so helpful to know that we could bring the grocery cart back with us to the Villas so we didn't have to take a taxi back with our groceries. Then it was out to the beach for the rest of the afternoon. We were so taken away with the gorgeous sunsets. And the sunset cocktail hour really does take place every evening. I can't imagine a better setting for cocktail hour anywhere! We spent most of our days enjoying the beach and the water. We snorkeled right off the beach and saw plenty of beautiful fish, rays, and even a lobster! Some other folks gave us a tip about walking down the beach and going out in front of the Governor's house to snorkel. We did that as well. It was good snorkeling but honestly, right out front was nearly as good. We did go on the Stingray City tour with Clinton. Lisa set that up for us and we had the best time. It is a half day trip that was well worth the price. He took us to two other snorkel spots as well. He was a great host. Clinton even shared his favorite restaurant recommendation with us(Alfrescos). We ate there twice! There were far too many great restaurants to try in one week. Many are within walking distance too. We will have to try some of them on our next visit. We rented a jeep one day so that we could drive around the island. It was a beautiful drive and we enjoyed seeing the rest of the island. There are so many interesting things to see along the way. We stopped along the road and took lots of pictures. Renting a car was easy. Lisa has recommendations for car rentals. What we wanted wasn't available that day so we checked with the Avis office next door at the Westin and they fixed us right up. We spent pretty much of the remainder of our time on the beach right out front of the villa. There were lots of other things to do on the island, but we had a hard time tearing ourselves away from the beach. I can't stop thinking about our amazing week in paradise. All four of us found it hard to leave. It has taken me a week to acclimate to the cold weather. We will be back!

Peaceful tranquility--even with three young children!
Peaceful tranquility--even with three young children!
We stayed at this property the week of 3/19/11 and it was exactly as described but more. We rented a jeep to drive with our children (10, 7, 5) and Lisa greeted us upon arrival. The condo was neat, clean, and fresh and white when we arrived. We had a rollaway for our little guy and assumed the other two would share one of the beds, but then they decided to split up and one had the bedroom, one on the rollaway, and one on one of the sofas. I was pleased there were linens for all so they could create their own "makeshift" rooms. And there was still plenty of seating for all of us without disassembling their make-shift beds. We did not spend much time in the condo, to be honest, but it was a pleasure to be able to stock up at Kirk's (short drive away) with organic goodies so the kids could eat right when they woke up and we didn't have to spend time waiting at a restaurant. It was all about the beach for us. Our friends stayed at the Ritz-Carlton next door, and what a difference. It was chaos and one beach chair after another over there (that you had to get up at 6:00 a.m. to "reserve" if you wanted a good location), so our friends frequently came over to the peaceful side by us. We could spread out, and had the full view of the beach in front of us, with people taking their daily walks in front of us at a leisurely pace. The snorkeling right in front of the condo (no need to drive anywhere!) was amazing. We saw so many fish, rays, and even crabs right there! The kids were so excited and the ease of it all made the pace so relaxing for the adults. We did the turtle farm and stingray city and even the dolphin swim. All good fun. We drove to the east side of the island and tried a restaurant called Tukka, which was lovely. AMAZING view. Other then that, we dined at the Sunshine Grill (you must try the Cuban chicken--reserve by 5:00 p.m.!), the Japanese restaurant in that complex--which we did not like, and Eat's Cafe in the same shopping center, which was good. Delicious Mahi Caesar. Food at the Ritz was not very good, though they do make a great slider for the kids. Surprisingly, their drinks are not made with fresh juices (sour mix margaritas, pre-made mango flavored puree in smoothies), which was a bummer. Overall, the condo could not be in a better location & the owners could not have been more honest and accommodating about everything we asked. The property manager was super-efficient. We cannot wait to go back again!

My husband and I spent 9 days in this beautiful condo. The photos and description of this unit were right on. The view from the balcony and sunsets were just gorgeous. The beach and water is so beautiful and just steps away. We never had a problem finding a beach chair or umbrella. The beach was never crowded. The condo was decorated so nice and cleaned daily. The owner was very helpful and answered all of our questions and concerns before arriving. The location is perfect and restaurants are within walking distance. Eats and the Sunshine Grill are right across the street from the Villas. I would recommend this condo for families or for couples sharing. We actually shared ours with our best friends. The layout is perfect with each bedroom having its own bath. We didn't rent a car. Everything is within walking distance including Foster's IGA. The condo's provided grills and we actually grilled out a couple of nights. Lisa, the office manager, was very helpful. We booked through Rita's Taxi Service for an Island Trip and Greg, our driver, was very informative. Our other four friends rented another condo from this owner and they were equally impressed. We had a wonderful time and can't wait to return.

Perfect home away on Seven Mile Beach
Perfect home away on Seven Mile Beach
Our family stayed here for a week in December 2010. The unit is as described: an ideal spot in the Caymans for a family vacation. The beach in front of the unit has perfect sand, no crowds (unlike the adjacent hotels), and plenty of available beach chairs. The vacation unit is extremely clean and well maintained. Lisa, who runs the office, can help with any issue. Location is a real advantage; we enjoyed and recommend the restaurants across the street (Eats, Yoshi Sushi), nearby shopping (wine store and groceries), and next door hotels (Blue restaurant at the Ritz, Red Sail sports at the Westin). One could do without a rental car, but we used ours every day for ice cream runs, Georgetown shopping, scuba dive shops, the turtle farm, and far-away restaurants (Chicken Chicken, Papagallo, Cracked Conch, Calypso Grill). This location and unit provided a great vacation for the money. Happy travels.

Why the Owner Chose Seven Mile Beach:
We purchased our other unit in the 80's because after one trip, we knew we had discovered the most beautiful, cleanest, safest island in the Caribbean, and would spend our vacations here forever. Over the years three generations of our family have enjoyed the beautiful water, wonderful people, and great amenities, and we have enjoyed sharing it with our friends and guests. We always knew we wanted an another condo here, but waited until exactly the right one came available, and unit #14 is it. We've had this unit for about 10 years now and its everything we had hoped for and more.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
Although we've furnished our condo to be comfortable and stylish, the real benefit is the location. You can walk to fantastic snorkeling, great dining, and lots of entertainment. Our beach is private and quiet, but with the two best resorts on the island on either side, you are just steps from activities, pool bars, watersports, rental cars, spas, fine dining and all the action you might want. And the beach is just amazing.
