I rented this home for a family vacation. There were 12 of us. The layout and size is such that we were not crowded or lacked privacy. It is ideally located, across the street from the beach and an easy walk or drive to shops and restaurants. The house was clean and in excellent condition. It was wonderful plus to have a pool, a grill, and a washer/dryer. The North Forest Beach area is in a location that makes it easy to get to activites, like golf and restaurants on the island. I would recommend this property and hope to rent it again.

Our stay at Almost Heaven WAS heaven! We had several families and babies along for the ride and everyone was so comfortable and at home we never wanted to leave! The beach is just across the street and the neighborhood felt small and secluded while being a short walk to restaurants, shopping and groceries. We would definitely return!!

This is my favorite house I've ever stayed in at any beach! There is so much space, each room is so comfortable. There is an elevator which makes moving in and out really easy. There are so many rooms, yet each room is very private. The pool is also very private and the house is just steps from the beach. This house is the definition of the perfect house at the beach!

A beautiful (and convenient) vacation in every way

We were very pleased with our experience in this vacation home. We shared the home with a couple other families and not all of us had cars. I was worried that this would be a problem until I saw the location of the house. It is within walking distance of Coligny Plaza, which has lots of excellent shops, restaurants, and a grocery store. The house itself is beautifully decorated. Each bedroom is roomy and has unique character to it, which we enjoyed. We stayed in to cook dinner for the most part, and couldn't have been more pleased with the roomy, modern kitchen. You can see the beach very well from the upper-level porch, and we spent lots of time in the afternoon rocking in the rocking chairs, reading and chatting on the porch. We loved our vacation and will come back again.

I don't have enough good things to say about this beach house! My family has stayed here more than once and we think it is the perfect beach house. It offers all the amenities a family could need including ample parking (garaged and driveway), spacious kitchen with bar area (easily seats 8 at the bar), comfortable living area, laundry room, and beautiful pool with jacuzzi. I can't say enough about the bedrooms - they are all tastefully decorated and the mattresses are all VERY comfy. And since every bedroom either has it's own bathroom or a shared bathroom, you needn't worry about waiting in line for a shower. We spend our week there leisurely hopping from the beach (a 45 second walk from the house) to the pool. GREAT for families with kids of any age! It's also only a 5 minute walk to Coligny Plaza with dozens of shop and eateries. And the second floor porch is a great spot to sit and read a book or enjoy the ocean breeze. I highly recommend this house for your next visit to Hilton Head!!

We love to stay at Almost Heaven every time we visit Hilton Head. The house is amazingly large and every room is decorated so uniquely. The elevator is always fun for the kids and helpful for bringing up our belongings, groceries, etc. Our entire family visits Hilton Head we all find it so relaxing to sit in the rocking chairs on the porch. This is where we have conversations that will be remembered forever. The beach is steps away from the house which makes relaxing days on the beach so wonderful. The beach seems almost private as only the few houses around that area use it. When the beach isn't in the plans we always enjoy the pool and all the lovely landscaping around the house. We can't wait to reserve Almost Heaven again and enjoy another relaxing vacation in that fabulous house!

Our family has stayed in the house several summers and have always enjoyed our stay. The house is well maintained and very clean. It is in a great location, just steps from the beach. The kitchen is beautiful and well equipped. We enjoyed the unique decorating in the home especially the bedrooms. The pool is great as well as the large porch off the living area. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at "Almost Heaven" d plan to return.

My family and I have stayed in this home several times now and we cannot say enough good things about it! Everything is always very clean when we get there. All of the rooms are decorated in such a neat, beachy way. We have several small children and this house is just perfect for us. It is so close to the beach, yet has it's own private pool as well. We like to spend a lot of time on the rockers on the porch, watching the ocean. The beds and furniture are all so comfortable. We cook a lot in the fabulous, well stocked kitchen. We also love to walk or ride bikes to the shops and restaurants at Coligny Plaza. We would highly recommend this house to anyone looking for a vacation home in Hilton Head!

The name of this home says it all. It truly is "Almost Heaven". The home is beautifully decorated with many personal touches that make you feel as though you are home! It is so comfortable. Everything you need or want is there. The gorgeous private beach is just steps away and provides the serenity of a dream vacation. The pool is an added bonus. Plus, it is so convenient to walk to Coligny Plaza to enjoy shops and restaurants. We loved it and can't wait to go back!!
