  From our guest "My sister, Jonna, and her hubby Tim, thought it was time to meet Grandfather, so they brought us to your lovely cabin to meet one of the pillars of Appalacia and the Blule Ridge. The mountains, trees, and early darkness gave us time; time to talk and laugh, time to plan, time to sit together and renew family ties. You know, Debra and Kevin, that is quite a gift from people we don't even know. God Bless you and Thank you!"

  From our guestbook: "Our family had the best weekend! Our two oldest (ages 3 & 5) don't want to leave. Thank you for sharing your home with us. It is very clean and we enjoyed the great decor. The house was convenient to atttractions and town yet perfectly quiet and secluded. We missed out on seeing mile high bridge, it was frozen from the early snow. We will be back! Thanks!"

  This cabin was everything they listed it to be and more. We visited with 4 adults and 2 toddlers, and traveling in from Florida on a cold winters night it was so nice to walk in and the heat was cranked and it was ready for us! The night before the area had a snow storm so it was so nice to arrive to about 9 inches of snow. This cabin will not disappoint you, and you will love your experiences and the sights in the area. We cannot wait to go back next year! We will definitley book for longer next time :-) It was about an 8 hour car ride with about 3 stops along the way, perfect for southerns to getaway and experience a nice winter getaway.

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, families with young children.

  From our guestbook: "What a fun week! Even though the weather didn't totally cooperate we were still able to ski one day at Sugar Mountain and zip line at Hawksnest. It was my husband's 50th birthday so we all helped him zip into the next half century!!! Great memories! Great fun! Thanks for sharing your High Country Cabin! We love the views, the mountains, etc. God willing we hope to visit again next year. We always love to escape Mardi Gras"

You have a cozy and comfortable home and we felt ourselves relax and leave all cares behind. Our dogs Jackson and Lucy have had a wonderful vacation too. We highly recommend horseback riding and The Hawksnest Zip Line both were a ton of fun. We come to Banner Elk every year and this is the BEST cabin we have stayed in. We love the view. Thanks"

What a charming cabin you have. We visited other cabins on Tweetsie lane where our friends were staying but none could compare to the view or the charming décor of High Country Fever.
