This is one of the best sand beaches in the world with swimming and surfing just steps from the condo.
The unit is in immaculate condition as it was brand new in September of 2006. You will enjoy a gourmet kitchen fully equipped with new appliances, exquisite granite counters, rich maple cabinetry, dishwasher, microwave, new SS refrigerator and oven. (Note: user guides for all appliances are provided.) All dishes, utensils and cookware are available to prepare your favorite dinners. There is seating for four at the kitchen counter bar and a table that seats six in the dining area. (The picture has a different table). The dining area overlooks miles of beautifully outstretched beach and water that awaits you. Both the kitchen and dining areas have lovely tile flooring. There are ceiling fans in every room to keep the delightful ocean breezes moving throughout the unit.
Large glass windows in the living room provide a beautiful panoramic scene of the white capped Pacific Ocean. Additional windows open up to let in the tranquil ocean breezes and the sounds of the surf. Should the evenings get chilly, the warmth of a gas fireplace will keep you cozy. Also provided for your pleasure and entertainment are a flat screen TV mounted above the fireplace, DVD player, high speed internet, and a wonderful stereo / CD sound system with patio speakers.
The master bedroom features an inviting, comfortable queen size bed with a wall mounted cable TV for your convenience. Two guest bed rooms have double beds each and a sleeper sofa is located in the living room.
Parking is located on the side of the building and TWO tandem spaces are available.
In addition to a captivating ocean view, you will find much to do ... all within walking distance or a short bike ride. A major supermarket is only a few minutes away, as are several beach boutique shops. You can walk to the restaurants and stores or stroll along the oceanfront and enjoy its beauty.
We ask that you respect our strict no pet and no smoking policy. This is a quiet family friendly neighborhood and is a family only property.

About the owner: We are a fun loving family, that feels very blessed to have 3 healthy children, 2 of which are grown up and moved out, and our youngest son, (pictured) keeps us very busy with sports, school, and church activities. I am a partner in a software development company, and my wife works for a large office products company. We enjoy working hard, playing hard, and are thankful for good health, and a wonderful family.
Why the Owner Chose Mission Hills:
We bought specifically on Mission Beach in San Diego because of the pace and difference in the way this area feels versus anywhere else in Southern California. We have vacationed all the way to San Francisco, enjoyed all of the beaches, but for weather, ambience, and people you can't beat the San Diego area. For a beach property it is also very close to the airport, downtown, shopping, restaurants, and freeway access is very close and easy to get to. We also enjoy the fact that our property is beach front, not a block or two away where you can't actually look right out of your living room on the beach. What more can you ask for. We love it.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
Some of the unique benefits we enjoy is having the ability to sit on our beachfront patio and watch all the people going up and down the boardwalk. That in and of itself makes for a great stay at our house. We also enjoy having everything we want to do within walking or biking distance. Sea World is only 5 minutes away! When we do need to get somewhere by car, it is also very easy access in and out of our place. We really enjoy jogging on the beach and down to our favorite coffee and breakfast places in the mornings. We also like to hang out directly in front of our place all day and play, and then be able to walk or bike down to our favorite "watering holes" for lunch or late afternoon and do more people watching. Because we get the benefit of the cool ocean air and sound of the waves crashing the shore coming in our windows, we are also close enough to catch the movement of dolphins and whales up the coastline during certain times of the year. Sounds pretty good to me,,, when do I leave for my next trip to San Diego? :-)
