  "Almost Paradise" is an appropriate name for this property. The location is excellent and the house is a good property to meets needs while visiting the beach. The home is well maintained and communication with the owners was superb. The pictures on the website were representative of the home's appearance, very beautiful. Our expectations were exceeded during our visit. I would recommend this beach property to anyone looking for a vacation site in the Grayton Beach and Seaside area.

  Recommended for: Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing.

  Another enjoyable visit to "Almost Paradise". Can't say enough about this place, it was perfect as usual. Looking forward to another visit soon.

  We stayed at Almost Paradise for the week of 7/21. Our daughter had a beach wedding at Seaside (the beach cottages) on 7/27. We had guests come with us on 7/21 and leave in time for other guests to arrive on 7/25 for the wedding. They all thought, as did we, that the house was perfect. The pool, with plenty of chairs, tropical greenery, and lights, was great and the screened porch was enjoyed daily. We feared the pool may be too small, but it was all we needed and was serviced mid-week, so it was lovely the entire time. We cooked out several times and was able to choose between gas and charcoal. The beds were comfy and the kitchen well supplied. Very convenient to the beach and Seaside and Publix--which we frequently several times. Rode down to Rosemary Beach one day to check it out, along with some nice shops. BTW, the wedding reception was held at V Seagrove restaurant and the food was wonderful. We just thought 30A was special and hope to return soon.

  We absolutely had the most wonderful vacation in this home. Kitchen is perfectly stocked, beds were super comfy and the private pool was fantastic! Owner was easy to work with and answered all 500 of my questions prior to arrival! Couldn't have been more pleased & are looking forward to our next stay!! Thanks so much for allowing our family to use your home!

  This beach house is really ideal for a family vacation. The location is ideal--you can easily walk, but there is a also a public parking area close if you are weighed down with tents and beach gear. Having a private pool is such a luxury and this one is nicely fenced off. The decor is bright and cheery and the kitchen is well-equiped. The layout is open and the bedrooms have enough separation for privacy. I have a toddler and the house was kid-friendly and the screened porch was an added bonus. I would definitely stay again.

  This house was great. Roomy, comfortable, and very stocked.Location was great. We had tents lot of gear to take to the beach. We drove car (with gear) across street to pubic parking and walked back and forth. We were on beach in a minute. It was very close to shops. Loved at kitchen had blender, toaster, crock pot, and every pan you need. Great outdoor sound system. Who doesn't want to swim with tunes!Traveled with toddler and house was very kid friendly.

  Loved our stay at "Almost Paradise" with the family including two children, ages 9 & 5. It was the perfect house for us with the heated pool, screened porch and outdoor shower. Kids loved the pool and the beach was just a short stroll. Have stayed in condos and private homes in the area and this was the best accommodations ever. Look forward to our next trip to Seagrove Beach and another stay at this cottage. Thanks to the owners for making the rental process as simple as possible.

  As a former vacation homeowner at the Beaches of South Walton, I chose my first rental there carefully. Almost Paradise is the perfect place from which to enjoy Seaside and Watercolor (only one mile away on off-road paths) and offers a beautiful private stretch of pristine beach via a short charming beach path right across 30A. Cottage is just off 30A but very quiet and private. There is a small enclosed swimming pool and a fenced yard for your dog, a screened porch for the evenings, and a cozy fireplace for the cooler months. The owners have provided all the necessities for comfort and a well provisioned kitchen, and you also have the conveniences of Wi-fi and flatscreen TV (including Surroundsound in the great room) with cable in all rooms. There are two comfortable master suites with full bathrooms, and a bunk room for children. The great room is spacious and the entire house is decorated simply but very tastefully. I'm sure that I will go back to Almost Paradise over and over, as I go to that area regularly and love to feel "at home" when I stay at the beach. The Web site doesn't do this place full justice and I couldn't have been happier with it. The owners are also very good to work with, good communicators and reasonable. House is clean and everything works as it should. I hated to leave Almost Paradise!
