We were in Denver for my husband to attend a conference, and we made it into a family trip. The location of the house was great for my husband to walk 10 minutes to the light rail station, and then he got dropped off right at the convention center downtown. There were great parks within walking distance of the house, the neighbors were friendly, the neighborhood was clean, and there were a lot of conveniences nearby (grocery store, pharmacy, restaurants, etc). The house was clean, and quite nice, and had everything we could possibly need. We appreciated that there were some items supplied to help clean up after the dogs, as well as some items for our kiddo (booster seat, plastic bowls/cups, etc). The street parking was never an issue (and we have a 3/4 ton truck). We would definitely try to rent this home again, as well as recommend it!

We just got home from a weeklong Christmas visit in Denver. We had a great time visiting family and friends, and it was so comforting to have "our" house on Clarkson as a base! We have stayed here multiple times, and always look forward to a house that is fully stocked and comfortable. That was especially nice during the holidays, as I was able to do some cooking and bring things to various dinners/celebrations. The owners make sure everything is in good shape upon arrival...we even had our sidewalks and porch shoveled from the white Christmas snow, before we had a chance to do it! We look forward to returning in 2013!

We enjoyed staying at this wonderful little house while visiting our grown children during Thanksgiving. It was very clean, comfortable and cozy and made for a very positive experience. The neighborhood is great with good access to local restaurants, shops and public parks. Very good location to access the greater metro area as well. Owner greeted us upon our arrival and was very helpful yet very sensitive to our privacy. We would definately return and recommend this to anybody. It was also a great experience for our 6 year old golden lab charlie.

Rented this darling house because we were getting new hardwood floors and needed to vacate for a few days. Liked the location because we could go back and forth and check on the progress of the floors. Everything was perfect, clean, organized. Little touches like a bottle of wine waiting for us, night light in the bathroom, Scotch tape on the desk. Fully stocked kitchen, pantry, towels and linens. Owners live next door and that was a definite plus. Very nice people and very helpful. All the comforts of home and then some! Pet friendly. Nice neighborhood to walk the dog. Will definitely recommend this rental home to friends and relatives.

This was our second stay at this home and we love it here. I told Deb and Dan that I wish I could just live here and not go home! There is nothing we needed to bring for a month's stay except our clothes and laptop (which I could use while sitting in the charming fenced-in backyard at the umbrella table while my little dog explored). We were even invited to use the herbs and vegetables growing in the backyard. I, too, have stayed in many vrbo homes and have never seen one stocked so completely, right down to the lemon juicer. I loved walking the area with my dog. Pearl Street is only two blocks away with lots of unique shops and restaurants. The location is close to the downtown area and still takes only a few minutes until you are in the mountains. I hesitate in a way to give this house a great review because I realize it will be harder for us to rent it in the future, which we intend to do. But Deb and Dan deserve the "excellent" rating.

The 1910 bungalow was one of the most enjoyable places we have rented. My husband and I stayed four nights with our dog. Our son stayed with us a few nights while he got moved in his place at DU. The description is very accurate. The house is immaculate and had plenty of room, beds were comfortable and the back yard was wonderful. We have been to Denver many times and fell in love with the Pearl Street neighborhood and all it has to offer. It was also helpful having the owners next door. I already have recommended the property to friends and hope to stay again on another visit.

We recently relocated from Denver to Florida and returned for a family wedding. We travel with our two small dogs. You cannot go wrong with this rental. The location is great for walking the dogs, shopping and restaurants. We enjoyed the backyard, as the dogs could run around off leash, grilling dinner and visits with family. Deb was great showing us everything in the house and the gift of a bottle of wine after three days on the road was heavenly sent! We hope to return again next summer!

I stayed for five weeks with my little Yorkie, and could have easily spent the rest of the summer in this cozy little bungalow. From my arrival to departure I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Deb and Dan are the most gracious hosts, from the bottle of wine upon arrival to the fresh produce growing in the lovely back yard. Being a single lady traveler, I especially appreciated the comfortable and safe feeling of the neighborhood. Friendly neighbors, great shopping, and a beautiful park nearby. I'll definitely return next summer.

My girlfriend and I stayed at Deb and Dan's rental home while attending the Annual Steel Drum Workshop at Denver University. The home is on a quiet, tree lined street and was just a short drive to the College. Although we would have liked to have spent more time at the house, the time spent there was a wonderful respite with tasteful decor and comfortable furniture. Deb had a chilled bottle of wine for us on arrival and a map detailing local grocery stores and restaurants. I've rented many homes through VRBO and Deb and Dan's kitchen was by far the best equipped. From dishes, to cutlery, to spices for cooking, they had it all. During our week's stay, their home felt like our home and I'd love to rent from them again.

          Why the Owner Chose Denver:
This house has been in our family for 30 years and was recently remodeled and "made-over" for guests to enjoy this beautiful historical neighborhood.

The Unique Benefits at this House:
This neighborhood is uniquely walkable and was settled in the late 1800's by the Dutch. Therefore the streets are lined with mature trees and the houses have a depth of character. It is in a very desirable neighborhood due to its proximity to downtown.
