We had an excellent time at this place. Steve, the owner, was very prompt answering my emails and questions. The property was exactly as it was explained and described. The place was clean, with all the supplies provided. There was plenty of fresh towels, the beds and sheets were clean, overall a great place to stay. The condo was stocked ceiling high with firewood. The kitchen was full of utensils, and almost everything needed like spices and whole bunch of other stuff. The fridge had even beer in it. Sorry Steve, we had to try the beer (it was Canadian) but we left some Heineken to replace it. The parking was right in front of the unit so carrying the bags in was easy. The shuttle stop was just at the end of the building so we didn't even have to drive to the slopes. Best of all there was a golf course accross the street from the building which obviously was closed for the winter but it provided the kids with this huge open area of untouched snow for them to play and sled for hours. Mammoth is not that big to begin with so the location of the condo is not really relevant since everything in the city is about 5 to 10 minutes of drive however, the condo was walking distance to about 3-5 blocks to main intersection where there were a lot of restaurants, bars, movie theater and Vons. I want to add that the place for a condo was huge. Three bedrooms plus the loft which provided a lot of place for the kids. The living room was a little small but for a condo it was not bad. Lastly, I want to mention, that the owners are very generous. As I mentioned above about the kitchen being fully stocked with everything, there was whole lot of toys for the kids to play with, board games and so on. There was a computer with the note saying that we were welcome to use it and the printer was stocked with paper and everything. Overall we had a great time. Thank you Steve.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, girls getaway, tourists without a car, families with young children.

We have had the pleasure of using this condo on numerous occasions, summer and winter. It is always clean and well stocked with lots of supplies. The easy access to the internet at no charge is a particular benefit too. It has easy access and is close to recreation venues and shopping. The grounds of the complex are well maintained and the property manager is friendly and helpful. We look forward to using it many more times.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, sightseeing, families with young children, age 55+.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Cozy Townhouse. The beds were comfortable, the rooms spacious, the fire place is awesome and really heats up quickly. We used the computer and appreciated the wifi. The kitchen is well stocked (even spices) and good enough with all the appliances needed to prepare a gourmet meal. The location in Mammoth is perfect and the condominium as we drove right up to the front door! The hot tub and barbeques were both top. We felt at home and would highly recommend this to any couple or family.Recommended for: People with disabilities, romantic getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, age 55+.

This was my first visit to Mammoth. Since it was summer it didnt matter if we were on/near the slopes. therefore this place provided a nice central place to visit the numerous activities (the lakes, the mountain), as well as being close to restaurants and grocery areas. The house itself is very spacious and has a homely decor, complete personal touch with quilts and owners' family pictures enjoying Mammoth. Also, beds (which one would mostly use on short trips like mine) were cozy and comfortable in pretty much all the rooms. I took my parents in their 70's so the downstairs bedroom was perfect as they didnt have to climb the stairs. I interacted with the owners on the phone and they were very nice, friendly and accomodative. It was indeed a pleasure interactive with them. There were just a few experience-dampners, which I note below...these are rather easy fixes, and I am sure will be fixed quickly: (1) DUSTY - the ceiling and upholstry (curtains and sofas) are dusty and covered with cobwebs. We were especially sensitive to this because it triggered my mom's asthma. Again, not a show stopper, but an easy fix which I hope is done quickly (2) Sketchy KITCHEN - crockery chipped and unmatches (seemed like using leftover plates/mugs or an assortment from garage sale). 2 out of 4 electric stoves not working. Very few cooking pots (having a vegetarian family, we had planned to cook pretty much all days). Overall a momorable stay.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, sightseeing, families with young children, age 55+.
