  For years we had hoped to have an extended stay in St. Thomas. My wife and I had cruised the Caribbean before, but wanted the experience of staying on an island with access to the beach 24/7. We searched VRBO for a rental that would allow us to stay comfortably for three weeks with our 2 year old daughter. Fate lead us to Brent Dall and D-27 at Crystal Cove on Sapphire Beach! There are few condo complexes on St. Thomas that are yards from the ocean. D-27 is steps from the water, situated on beautiful grounds surrounded by lush tropical flowers and a gorgeous lagoon. The condo was beautiful with every amenity you could hope for including beach chairs, snorkel gear, boogie board, and buckets and shovel to keep children occupied for hours. The full size kitchen was perfect for preparing meals at home, but Red Hook is seconds away and has great restaurants and happy hours - try the the Conch Chowder at Molly Malones! Brent's island home was wonderfully furnished and kept clean by the great staff at Crystal Cove. Brent was an incredible host; helpful and friendly from our initial conversation and through our stay. A serious tropical storm knocked out the internet, and Brent took care of the issue immediately. If you are looking for a beautiful condo steps from the water in one of the best sections of St. Thomas, look no further!

  Thank you for sharing your beautiful condo with us! You were more than accommodating to our needs and the pre info you sent was much appreciated. The pictures really didn't do it justice, it was far more beautiful than we could have imagined. The fact that you had snorkeling gear and a boogie board on site made the experience even more wonderful. We would highly recommend your condo to anyone as it is so spacious. We had some others that traveled with us and they stayed in another condo on Sapphire Beach and their rentals were about a third of the size of yours and at the same basic price. We are glad that you recommended renting a car, so worth it, no waiting for a taxi and after the first day navigating became,much easier. We enjoyed spending time at Coral World, doing the Sea Trek adventure and Coki Beach, Megan's Beach and a day sail with New Horizons, all so worth it! Again thank you for allowing us to enjoy your condo and giving us a lifetime of memories!!!

  My family stayed at this condo on two separate trips (5/16-5/20 and 5/30-6/3) and everything you get from start to finish is top notch. The help that Brent gave me was invaluable and his response time was impeccable. The condo is great and comes with everything you need to live there and is kept clean and in excellent condition. The location is as close to the beach as you can get and sleeps plenty of people. The king size bed is comfortable and the futon turns into a bed and there is a queen size Murphy bed in the forward room. When we come back to St Thomas we will be staying here again easily. Thank you Brent for renting your place and providing such great service!!

  My wife and I just returned from five days at D-27 in Crystal Cove. The condo was excellent- clean, roomy, and well-stocked with everything we needed. All appliances and furniture are nearly new, and there were no signs of wear in the condo at all. There was plenty of room for the two of us, but 2-3 others could easily have fit and stayed comfortably using the futon or Murphy bed as there are 2 full baths. The unit had everything we needed for our meals and for the beach- a beach bag, cooler, beach chairs, floats, and lots of towels. We brought a bag and a cooler with us, but really did not need to with everything that was provided. The location of the condo was also optimal. Located right on Sapphire Beach, it is literally 100 yards to the beach from the front door. Being able to walk back and forth from the room during the day allowed us to spend the entire day at the beach. By staying in the condo, you are allowed to utilize the beach chairs provided, which is also a great plus. The beach has many trees which provide shade instead of having to use an umbrella. The only minus to the location was the large cruise ship crowd that was present from 10:00-3:00, but, I believe these was larger than usual due to it being Spring Break week. However, if you get out early or come later on, the beach is very quiet. Additionally, the location allows you to easily drive into the town Red Hook for meals or to take the ferry to St. John. We had several excellent dinners in town. Also, by being on the East End of the island, you can drive to other beaches or sights, such as Magen's Bay and Drake's Seat, and have a great view of St. John and the BVI's while sitting on Sapphire Beach. There is also less traffic on this end of the island, which is a nice relief on some windy, hilly roads. I highly recommend the condo to anyone planning a trip to St. Thomas. The location and amenities make it an excellent value and a place I would definitely stay again. The condo owner, Brent, was extremely helpful through the entire process and very informative about our visit.

  Thanks to Brent for accommodating a last-minute request for a short stay at his property. The bed was comfortable, the apartment well-furnished and clean, and the cupboard had more towels than I think we've owned in our entire lives. There are even a few resident cats outside, with whom we made friends. I had the most unusual experience at the beach: an iguana climbed on my lap and settled in. I thought this was probably normal, but the cab driver said he had never heard of it. The beach is gorgeous, with swimming possible right from the edge.

  This was our 1st visit to St.Thomas and thanks to the great accomodations it was great!!! The condo is well-maintained and very nicely decorated. We enjoyed the beach, snorkeling, relaxing and Diane was a pleasure, too. This location is truly a great find (Sapphire Beach, Crystal Cove). The flowers are gorgeous at the complex. We enjoyed Red Hook on several nights for dinner (Duffy's, Island Time Pub & Amigos). We rented a car which came in handy with 2 teenage boys. My husband and my eldest rented a Guided Jetski tour which they enjoyed at Bolongo Bay Beach. Brent thanks again!! P.S. The weather was great the whole week.!!!! Would truly recommend this unit and this area.

  My wife and I stayed in Brent's condo for a few days on our honeymoon. We were very impressed with the fully furnished, clean condo. We truly enjoyed our stay and can honestly tell future guests that Sapphire Beach/Crystal Cove is the prettiest beach on St. Thomas. We had been to Magen's Bay which is supposed to be the premier National Geographic top ten beach on the island. Although it is pretty you have to pay an entrance fee and there is not much sea life around. At our condo's beach we saw turtles, a moray eel, stingrays, schools of squid, a garden of conch shells and tons of beautiful fish and coral. Another important thing I want to point out about our stay at Brent's place was how close it was to the beach. It is only a couple hundred feet of walking distance, and you can see the beach from your front window. I would recommend this condo to anyone looking for an affordable, nice stay on St. Thomas. In fact my own parents our strongly considering going there later this year based on our feedback. Finally, Brent is a very kind and helpful person to talk to. He was willing to talk to me for long periods of time and explain what sorts of activities and things there were to do on the island. I saved hundreds of dollars talking with him for free instead of a travel agent. My wife and I were so grateful for Brent's help and advice. We loved our stay!

  We had a great time! Brent went above and beyond with helping us plan a wonderful 2-wk vacation. The beach was great and that is what we enjoyed most hanging out at Sapphire Beach. The flowers are gorgeous at the complex and the grounds are well maintained. We had several power outages especially the 1st week and found that Brent's condo was well prepared with flashlights, extra batteries etc. The unit suited my family of 5 very well.

  Brent is a great owner and this unit is an excellent unit in Crystal Cove. Crystal Cove is a quaint and idyllic condominium development. It is very low density. The beach is fantastic and all of the condos in this development are "ocean front" by any other other resort's standards. The pool is nice and sheltered if the beach gets too windy. The condition of the units varies based upon the individual owner, and it is not possible to generalize by block A, B, C, or D. Blocks A and D are closest to the beach, but B and C are just a couple of steps more. We rented three condos in block D for us and extended family. This unit was the best bargain of the three (reasonable price for a very nice, well-maintained, well-renovated unit). We were a little concerned about an absentee owner but we found that people like Brent who own and furnish their units as their personal vacation place exhibit a much higher pride of ownership. Brent is an extremely helpful host and honest. Plus, Norma the maid is great and will take care of you and make sure everything is in good order (beware of other units that advertise Norma as their maid but then you have to pay her to come during the stay). We are very positive on Crystal Cove if you want a convenient Caribbean getaway, away from the crowds, on a truly beautiful beach with great views and snorkeling right out the door. You want this unit!

--Rates are for double occupancy. $20.00/person over two guests per night.

--There is no extra charge for maid service that is performed every 3rd day and when you leave.

--There is no charge for the unlimited internet that is provided by using the plug in or wi-fi modem at the condo.

Cancellation policy:

CANCELLATIONS – –Cancellations that are made less than fourteen (14) days prior to the arrival date are subject to a 5% cancellation fee or $50, whichever is greater.  Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay, that are made within 14 days of the arrival date, will be subject to the 5% or $50 charge to make adjustments. Cancellation or early departure does not warrant any refund of rent.
