Located in one of the most picturesque areas of Southwest Colorado, Our Cabin at Lake Puragory has easy highway access and is located only one mile from Durango Mountain Resort. This growing all season resort offers year round activities: winter downhill and cross country skiing, sleigh rides, snowmobiling, snowshoing, dog sled rides, hiking, boating, swimming, fishing, hunting, four wheeling, horseback riding, golf, tennis, narrow gauge train ride, alpine slide, rock climbing, mountain biking, mini golf, summer concerts, river rafting and sight seeing. One of our favorite things to do is just hanging out at our cabin.
Our log cabin (built in 1996) provides a terrific mountain getaway with wonderful views from every room... Aspen Groves, Hermosa Red Rock Cliffs, Beaver Ponds, Engineer Mountain and Little Cascade Creek. Hear Little Cascade Creek from the master bedroom (new queen-size bed as well as private bath) and wake up looking out at beautiful Aspen trees. The furnishings and decor are all new Southwest Mountain Style. (This is not an "old" cabin outfitted with second hand furniture and old appliances!) Our up to date kitchen is open to the living and dining areas and has beautiful knotty pine cabinets and complete appliances, utensils and necessary staples for your use.
The second bedroom has hand made Aspen bunk beds (single on top, double on bottom) and is located next to the second bathroom. There is also a queen sofa sleeper in the living room.
There is also an oversized one car garage for your convenience. (Includes a ping pong table).
