  This was a great location to be in. The house was really nice. I would stay here again if I needed to. lovely owner, easy to work with.

  We just spent Thanksgiving week at SaltAire and found everything to be just as described or better, clean, comfortable beautifully decorated and space design allows for multipllus areas for activities or relaxing. Our group consisted of 2 couples 1 infant and 1 toddler. Although were were not able to take advantage of the outdoor facilities due to rain and wind we found the inside of the condo to be very ample and cozy. Our goal for this vacation besides just getting away and relaxing was to be closer to relatives who could not travel for Thanksgiving so we could celebrate together. We served a 20 pound turkey with all the trimmings for ourselves and 2 additional couples. We were a bit crowded around the table but more cozy than anything else. The kitchen has everything you might need for cooking, entertaining and enjoying yourselves. . Laurie was so pleasant and welcoming even though I had been off on my reservations date by 1 day she graciously adjusted for us. We liked the location and home so much we began talking about a summer trip to enjoy ourselves evern more. Thank you Lauri for sharing your home with us.

  We had a great stay. SaltAire is very comfy for 4. The walk to the beach along with great places to eat are just about a 2 min walk. I would for sure recommend this property to others. My only complaint is the bed in the room at the top of the stairs has a very noisy box spring. Any movement at all I was awakened by it. Other than that, I would give the condo a B+. Thanks again-

  We spent just a quick holiday weekend here and enjoyed the accomodations immensely! You really are just blocks away from the hustle and bustle of the beach and many restaurants but upon returning back to the rental, it feels like your own quiet oasis. We really enjoyed the outside patio area and it's outdoor kitchen/grill. It was lovely sitting outside in the evening with the patio heater to keep us warm. There was even an outdoor speaker system that we could hook our ipod to and listen to music. The rooftop deck area was a favorite of ours during the day when we weren't at the beach. The basics are all covered here...clean and well stocked kitchen (enjoyed the espresso machine), clean bathrooms (shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and towels provided) and tastefully decorated bedrooms with comfy beds. The decor and artwork through out the home really make it feel comfortable and inviting and were very much like they were depicted in the website photos. There is also quite a collection of food/wine books and magazines that I especially enjoyed! Another added touch was the informative brochures and maps available so you can find out all the wonderful things Seattle has to offer. All of these things and the little extras enhanced our short stay and were very appreciated!! I would definately recommend this for anyone looking for a nice place in a great location!

  We had a wonderful time and loved the closeness to Alki Beach and West Seattle! Fun, unique multilevel townhouse, great for entertaining or just relaxing! The place to be if relaxing in Alki Beach.

  This property was everything that it claims to be. The location is perfect, local resturants within walking distance as well as public transportation. Alki beach is very beautiful and a great place for morning walks while enjoying watching jelly fish, otters and the like. We will definitely stay here on our next visit to the Seattle area and I suggest this VRBO rental to anyone who will be visiting Seattle.

  This was an excellent place to stay. The neighborhood was extremely quiet. The house was well furnished. Hair dryers in both bathrooms were a plus. It was a block from the beach which was very clean and everyone there was very friendly. The hot tub and patio were very nice and we did get a chance to cook a couple of times. All the staples were provided. Thanks for providing a home that was so much like home. I would highly recommend this home.

  This was truly a home away from home. We were so comfortable and it felt like everything had been done to ensure our comfort. We even found eggs and butter in the refrigerator and coffee ground for our use. The cupboards were stocked with spices and condiments. Pots and pans and dishes were plentiful. Art and family pictures were displayed, so that we felt "at home," not in some spare rental property. Beds were comfortable. Rooms were well decorated. Outdoor spaces were great (when the sun was out). Everything was well represented in the listing description and previous visitors' comments. The owner was very responsive and helpful when we had some questions. Of course, the best part was being a block from the beach and good restaurants. We would recommend this home to anyone looking for a cozy beach retreat in a lovely setting.   Lori's home is very comfortable & relaxing. We enjoyed our week there....she has everything you need. Myself & two kids were there for the week with my husband on the weekend. With all 4 of us it was perfect. We enjoyed the outside areas and all the restaurants and even Starbucks all so close. She has great recommendations for everything, even wine there if you are to lazy to go to the store:) We were able to hit the Mariners game easily as it's so close to downtown. I even took he kids to Pikes market & Queen Anne & it was quick. It really is the best of both worlds all on the beach. Our beach walks are missed! We would definitely recommend this stay, we look forward to returning one day soon!

  This lovely,clean and well appointed 2 Br condo was a superb location for relaxing in Alki Beach but close enough for doing the city sights. We stayed 10 days and still could not do everything on our list. we did fit in a 5k race.music,french bakery, Mexican food,many breweries for IPA ,a hike up rattlesnake Mountain and a trip to the Space Needle but there is a LOT to do around Seattle.The home is walking distance to good local dining and coffee shops as well as a spectacular beach walk where the skyline view of the city and the islands is amazing. The home itself was superbly set up, we cooked Thanksgiving dinner and found everything we needed to do a 15lb turkey with the trimmings! Lovely art work on the walls and very cosy fireplace ,great beds and bathrooms well stocked. Very nice out door spaces too -altho too cold in November to spend much time sitting outside we enjoyed the small hottub. Excellent set up for technology with a computer for our use on the counter and music hook up for pandora or an I pod..we spent some very relaxing evenings here cooking and hanging out as a family with our 20 something daughters ..it felt very comfortable .Owner really goes out of the way to make this place welcoming..including offering her own private selection of reasonable local wines ,which we took advantage of when some friends stopped over with some locally smoked salmon.Can you tell ..we had great time in seattle and hope to return!

  I loved the outdoor space and how close to the beach it was. Perfect for getting coffee in the morning or a nice walk in the afternoon. Having a parking space off street was great too. Also liked the fireplace, heats up the downstairs room fast.

  It is such nice and cozy place. My husband especially loves the office with the rooftop. Now that the sun finally came out it is even more beautiful. How glad I am that your kitchen is so perfectly equiped. That makes cooking for me really easy.
