Our new, tri-level duplex is located in Grand County, just off Highway 40, 65 miles from Denver, ten miles from Winter Park Resort, and 30 miles from Rocky Mountain National Park. Our small duplex community is surrounded by open space and very quiet. From the decks you can look out over the hillside to the 180 degree mountain views, including the ski area, or watch the horses and cows graze on the hillside.
Pole Creek, which runs directly behind our unit, is loaded with brook trout, and home to beavers and ducks, and provides sanctuary to many varieties of birds. You may also see an occasional coyote as it passes through the area. At night, you’ll see more stars than you ever thought existed.
Our 2000 square foot unit has three bedrooms, each with a queen bed and adjacent bathroom. The bedrooms are on three different levels, so each is a separate suite.
The main entrance to the unit is on the second floor, along with the second bedroom and bathroom, and entry closet. The top floor consists of a large, open kitchen/dining/great room area with vaulted ceiling and lots of windows to view the beautiful scenery. There is a gas fireplace, armoire with 27 inch satellite TV, leather loveseat, chair and ottoman, swivel chair, and dining table that will seat six.
The kitchen is fully-equipped and stocked with all the necessary cooking and eating supplies, including microwave, coffeemaker, and dishwasher, as well as an island for food preparation or eating. The large deck is accessed by sliding doors in the great room and dining room. The master suite is also located on the top floor of the unit. It has two large closets, a large bathroom with two sinks and a tub/shower, as well as a door leading to the deck.
The ground floor level has the third bedroom and bathroom, a second TV room with a TV with satellite, a dining/game table, washer and dryer, and a sliding door leading to a small deck. The one car garage can be accessed from this level.
Whether you are looking for some peace and quiet, or activities during any season, Lakeside at Pole Creek is in the perfect location. We have a private nine acre stocked lake onsite which can accommodate non-motorized watercraft. The Granby to Winter Park bike path is just a quarter mile away, and leads to over 600 miles of trails within the county. Activities for every season are just outside your door, or within a short drive.

What a beautiful quiet place to stay in the mountains. It was clean, spacious and we enjoyed different views of the mountains everyday! It was really a relaxing piece of heaven. Thanks for renting to us!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with teenagers.

Why the Owner Chose Tabernash:
We first visited Grand County in 1984, and after vacationing there almost yearly, we purchased our first condo in MeadowRidge in 1997. When these townhomes were being built, we decided to upgrade with more space and a greater view. We have not been disappointed. Pole Creek valley is a beautiful area surrounded by breathtaking views, and lots of recreational opportunities. The deck overlooking Pole Creek and the ski area is an ideal place to just sit, relax, and refresh.

We are situated a short drive from several ski areas, three beautiful mountain lakes, and Rocky Mountain National Park. We are also a convenient drive from Denver and the airport.
Our favorite activities include hiking, biking, wildlife viewing, fishing, and just enjoying the clean mountain air.
