A very convenient place to stay about half way between Vancouver and Whistler (we made 3 day trips "up the hill" and 2 to the "big city"). The apartment was very comfortable, clean, and close to many amenities including shopping, restaurants, and gas. It was well equipped and had everything we needed for our one week stay. Our hosts Grace and Pat were great and very responsive. We found Squamish to be ideal for our needs and we were very happy to come "home' at the end of our ski days or Vancouver trips. The area is simply beautiful and pleasant.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.

We rented this apartment for about two weeks and it more that it was cracked up to be.....the accommodation was exemplary, the chattels were in perfect working order and the decor was tasteful. The location of the apartment was central to all amenities and facilitates and above all.......it was sound-proof. we would stay there in the blink of an eye! And...would recommend this as it centrally located to the ski slopes, fishing...treks and any other outdoor pursuits one would take up. Well done to the owners.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

My husband and myself and one other couple stayed at the Condo for 5 days in February 2012 and were very satisfied. The unit was impeccably clean and is exceptionally well appointed. For those wishing to cook the kitchen has all the necessary equipment and utensils all in top notch condition. The living and dining area are quite spacious and all windows have a view of the mountains. All rooms are tastefully decorated and very comfortable. The owners go above and beyond by supplying extras such as paper towels, basic spices, dish soaps and many of the items that you need but are not often supplied. The unit is located in an attractive building close to a grocery store, drug store and other shops and restaurants. We loved being able to walk to the store to pick up what we needed. We highly recommend this rental to anyone visiting the Squamish area.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

I was thrilled to find this apartment which I was able to use for a week's stay this past September. My son attends Quest Univeristy, and the location, between school, shops, restaurants, trails and main roads, could not have been more convenient. A good test was the beds - we slept great! Clean, comfortable... couldn't be better. Best of all, we felt so at home in the apartment. I would have been happy staying much longer, and hope to have the chance to return "home" for all future trips to Squamish.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

My husband and I, along with my elderly Mother, enjoyed our 3 night stay at this condo over Christmas. The accommodation was absolutely spotless and was very well furnished, complete with all amenities. I was delighted to see the bathroom even had a blower dryer. Because we ate most of our meals in, it was great that the kitchen was so fully equipped. The other plus for this property was the location. It was within walking distance to a grocery store, new liquor store and other retailers. Or a short car ride into downtown Squamish and walking trails. We had a very pleasant holiday.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Both Squamish and this apartment exceeded our expectations. The apartment is very spacious, immaculately clean and thoughtfully equipped. Grace and Pat (the owners) were great to deal with. Squamish has an abundance of eateries, incl takeaway and eat-in. We enjoyed Sushi Sen and Boston Pia which were close to the apartment, and Sunflower, Zepher (vegetarian) and Petit Burrow all in Downtown. Everything we needed in self catering supplied were available to Extra Foods (walking distance from apartment), and from the weekly farmers market in Downtown.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.

The Squamish Spectacle Apartment was an ideal place for our family trip this summer. The convenience of its location was unbeatable... restaurants, coffee shops, and play grounds just a mere short walk from the apartment, and the place was immaculate and stocked with all the amenities for our comfort. We also appreciated and enjoyed the excellent collection of reading materials to help us negotiate the local places of interest. Grace was very helpful with all of our inquiries and quite hospitable during our entire stay. We found the place to be an excellent find and highly recommend it. The only negative thing about our stay was the heat wave during the first couple of days with temperatures in the 90's, and the South-facing apartment on the third floor did warm up quite a bit for my elderly in-laws who were accustomed to airconditioning, but we appreciated the fans and the cooler evenings which followed.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.

Spectacle Apartment in Squamish Rating: 5 out of 5 Kim, Squamish, British Columbia Review Submitted July 3, 2010 Date of Stay June 2010 The better place to stay in Squamish ! A very spacious apartment, very clean and well equiped, located 5 minutes drive to downtown, but you'll find almost everything on the street next to the condo (restaurants, groceries, gasoline, pharmacy, cinema....). We spent a week there and the apartment was equiped with everything we needed to prepare cooking, make dishes and laundry, and also there was all the showers items (soap, shampoo) and towels. We enjoyed the great view on The Chief mountain, the quietness of the condo, and the wi-fi internet was very useful while in vacations. The owners were very kind, and they made sure we had everything we needed the day after we were there. They also gave us informations about the in-town activities. I was a lovely condo with everything we needed for our stay. The web pictures were 100% accurate. The location was great. Shopping and restaurants within walking distance. There is quick access to the Sea to Sky highway. The owners were very helpful and kept in touch with us via text.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.

The apartment was spotless and everything seemed brand new. Thank you Grace and Bill for your help and amazing welcome. The apartment is located in an excellent place. Everything we needed we could solve it by walking, even though to move through Squamish more confortably with the kids we rented a car. Squamish is such beautiful place, lots of thing to do. We had a very easy stay at the apartment. Grace and Pat were very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. Grace really went the extra mile to help us with our Olympic travel arrangements. The Apartment was wonderfully clean and new. The beds were very comfortable and snug with top shelf pillows and rich mattresses. The apartment was supplied with everything we needed to feel like home. The southern exposure brought it lots of light onto the balcony and living area during the day while the plush curtains kept the bedrooms dark for sleeping in and afternoon naps. The condo is beautifully kept and decorated, in a great location right near the bus route to Whistler, and close to grocery stores and some restaurants. The owners are extremely accomodating and helpful if any problems arise. My Dad and I were there for the Olympics, and the owners helped us organize our buses to our events, which is much more than any short term renter can expect!
