**Welcome to my lovely beachfront home on Mission Beach. The Big Beach House on Mission Beach is a spacious home with a bit over 4000 square feet. This is my personal home and it is my pleasure to rent to you for your enjoyment. Each guest is hand selected so when you return you have the same expectations met. It is right on the beach and in a spectacular location. Close to bars and live music. We are also in walking distance to Belmont Park, home of the Big Dipper roller coaster!
The house has 5 bedrooms, 4 FULL baths with shower and tub and can sleep up to 17!
The layout is as follows: Downstairs has two bedrooms. One has a set of twin beds and the other has a bunk bed, which is double size. Both have closets and dressers and share a bathroom with tub and shower.
2nd level is the Master bedroom with king bed and En suite bath tub and shower. This is a tub with jacuzzi feature. It is very large suite and has a full patio with a beautiful view of beach. Sunsets are amazing from here! There is also a crib.
Upstairs. 3rd level, again has two twin beds and another ensuite bath with tub and shower.
Downstairs from the third floor (back of the house) is a private hideaway we call it the 'condo' as it has a separate bedroom with a queen bed and ensuite bath with tub and shower. A full kitchen with dish washer, fridge-freezer, washer dryer, dining room /living room, full size futon and a queen size air mattress (in closet). Also has its own entrance/exit but can also be entered from inside of house!
February 2015 we installed all new leather furniture/coffee tables and lamps. It's beautiful!
August 31, 2013 we put in a new kitchen in the main house complete with refrigerator, granite counter tops, new stove, sink, the works!
Recently, we purchased new designer bedding and linens. The house is stocked with towels, linens, blankets and beach towels, shampoo, conditioner, soap and body wash.
We discourage renting to young college students intent on parties and disrupting the neighborhood. We want to respect our neighbors!
Each room is attractive and homey. Located at 2962 Ocean Front Walk, a fully furnished rental property that has become a vacation destination for many travelers. I purchased The Big Beach House at Mission Beach because the area is friendly, safe, close to attractions and part of a village community. My young daughters loved the park, roller coaster, ferris wheel and the safety of this beach area. I invite you to allow me to accommodate your next visit to San Diego. A perfect destination for families and friends, The Big Beach House offers affordable rates and full amenities.
Inside the house, the tile floors are clean and well cared for. Let’s begin with the first floor: A generous living room has brown leather sofa and chair for lounging and watching tv. Curl up by the fire and sit in the adjoining conversation area by the picture window. The main floor dining room boasts an extended wood table that seats 17. The kitchen is large, with granite countertops, new sets of pottery serving 17, new cookware, serving pieces, glassware, oven and microwave, ice making refrigerator, dishwasher and an adjoining laundry room with full capacity washer and dryer.
Moving up to the second floor, we find the gorgeous Master Suite. With a full sliding door, the room offers a romantic view of the ocean. A luxurious stone fireplace, king size bed, leather sectional sofa, dresser unit and television add just the right home touch. Step up into the tiled bathroom with vanity area, separate bath and walk-in closet.
The third floor is a favorite for family visitors. Privacy and charm accentuate this darling room with door to private balcony, twin beds, television and bath.
Above the third floor is the attached 'condo'. This is a home of its own, with a separate bedroom, living area with television, leather sofa/futon chairs, dining room, kitchen, private deck with BBQ, full kitchen with oven, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, washer/dryer set, pantry, and private bath. This apartment has its own entry door and offers complete privacy.
Outside, The Big Beach House has an attached garage and 2 carports. Street parking, as well as a lot at the park, is available. A spacious front patio facing the ocean is complete with teak wood dining table, chairs, additional round table with umbrella and BBQ. An outdoor deck with guard rail on the second floor is located just off the master suite. A cute private deck is off the third floor bedroom, and the attached condo has a long wood deck and new barbecue. A short stone wall surrounds the patio, and the gate opens onto the boardwalk. In the garage, you will find bicycles, and beach umbrellas.
In addition to unobstructed views of the ocean and beach, The Big Beach House is convenient to numerous activities and sightseeing areas. Within walking distance: the white sands of the beach with ocean shore just a few yards away. Lifeguards are on duty. Sailboat and fishing boat rentals are nearby. Fishing excursions are also available. Visit Sea World and the San Diego Zoo, all in the area. Take a bike ride around the marina, or relax with a good book on the patio. Take a short walk to the grass park and relax before riding the Belmont roller coaster and ferris wheel.
Order a pizza from Big Kahuna or hop in the car and drive to one of the fantastic restaurants in the Gas Light District. Drive down to the harbor and tour The Midway, stroll through the quaint shops and eat at one of the excellent restaurants. Explore downtown San Diego and then drive over to Old Town. There is no shortage of shopping in San Diego, and Mission Beach offers dive shops and souvenirs. Drive to other beach areas and gather seashells.

I bought the house and decided on the Mission Beach area for the safe neighborhood, clean clear ocean water, impeccable beaches, and year round enjoyment. We chose the house at 2962 Ocean Front Walk because of its location and family oriented layout. Our family enjoys this area for sporting activities, relaxation and sun. The farmers market is famous in this area.

The unique benefits of this home include: 1) location, location, location. 2) the house is located on the beach in an elegant and safe neighborhood. 3) We are near the grassy Belmont Park and 4) The sand. There is a lifeguard on duty in front of the house for the safety of all who play and swim in the water. Also there are fire pits staggered on the beach. 5) We provide 4 beach cruisers to ride on the sidewalk. We think of our visitors as part of the family and do our best to keep the house freshly painted, well stocked and comfortable. New beds, fresh linens, new sets of pottery, cookware and glassware line the cabinets of the spacious kitchen. We want our guests to feel warm and rested in our vacation paradise. My property is your home away from home.
