I recently was afforded the opportunity to stay at this wonderful cabin positioned literally just a few feet from the majestic waters of Lake San Cristobal. I have been many places and done many things in my life, but this was hands down the best vacation I have ever been on. Lake City offers plenty to do during the day, but it was the mornings and nights spent in such a wonderful place to prepare for the end and unwind the day that made all the difference. The owners are absolutely tremendous people and go way beyond the call of duty to assure you enjoy your stay! If you are looking for a place where you can truly escape the grinds of the real world and relax in paradise for awhile....you will NOT be disappointed with this cabin.

My family of five had a great time. The entire area is incredibly beautiful, and the townhome is probably one of the best properties you can rent in the area. It is two stories with a balcony and deck overlooking a pretty lake. My kids fed the ducks and jumped around in the lake; it was early summer so the water was cold but my younger kids loved it. The kitchen is well stocked with cookware and seasonings, so we just needed to buy our food. We grilled on the deck several nights. The property is at the foot of the Alpine Loop. We rented a jeep and toured the ghost towns. Hiking trails are all around the area. We hiked every day and slept well at night. We also drove to Gunnison a couple of times and did a guided rafting tour with the kids. Lake City itself is a quaint town with a good selection of restaurants; most of the food was good to very good when dining out. The unit is spacious, clean and well furnished. There are two bedrooms upstairs each with its own bathroom, and a large downstairs with a living area, dining area, kitchen and half bath. I would highly recommend both the townhome and area to anyone looking for a great place to take time off.

If you are planning on staying in the Lake City, Colorado area then you will definitely want to stay at this comfy and clean town-home right on the lake! You will experience breathtaking views from the back deck overlooking the lake. You are in great proximity to downtown Lake City as well as the trails for hiking and four-wheeling. The owners take great care of this place and their customers and it's evident in the overall experience staying in this town-home. As a result of the positive experiences me and my friends have had on multiple occasions staying there, this is now the ONLY place we stay when we head to Lake City! You will want to make this your lodging destination of choice in Lake City as well.

Amazing location and nice accommodations. The townhome had all the amenities that we needed. The view from the patio was serene. Our stay was around late Summer, early Fall, and I have never seen so many hummingbirds clustered together in one area before. Late at night, we had a clear view of the night sky with more stars than I can remember seeing in my lifetime. You can see the edge of the Milky Way galaxy from there.
