  My husband and I recently stayed at this condo and loved it. This was our 11th trip to Aruba and have always stayed in an all-inclusive hotel. Never Again!! Cannot believe the "Florida" mall like atmosphere by the high-rise hotels. This condo is ideally situated- across from Eagle Beach and you have the entire beach practically to yourselves. The condo is conveniently situated about half-way between Orjanestaad and the high-rise hotels. The view from this expansive, clean and well-appointed condo is amazing. Sunsets are spectacular, pool view with changing colours at night and breakfast on the balcony is a real treat. Would definitely get a car to make getting around easier. Good supermarkets nearby and lots of great restaurants on the island. Opportunity to eat in or out was great. Saved money by having breakfast in and even had some quiet dinners at home which was a nice choice. We loved the Driftwood & Acqua for fish, El Gaucho for beef and Yemanja for Caribbean food. Alan arranged for a taxi to meet us at the airport and was very curteous and helpful regarding the condo and renting a car. Other residents we met were very friendly. We would definitely stay here again and bring our grown children with us!

This is one of the many testimonies we've had that compare their stay with the (more expensive) high-rise hotel area, and actually state that they will never stay at a crowded high-rise hotel (moreover, a crowded beach) again! This review confirms the ambience of our condos that we try to depict on the website, and in our e-mail response to inquiries. But an independent review like this says it all! The sunset, pool, view, restaurants and supermarkets close by, etc. Thanks for the review, and I hope to see you again in the not-so-far future!

  My husband, son & I came for our first visit and it was WONDERFUL!! Rachel got us settled in and recommended a few really good restaurants. She was great- giving us all the pointers of where to shop, eat etc and made aure we had everythingwe needed for the condo (whizh is gorgeous too!) We were so glad to be on eagle beach. It is so peaceful and relaxing- not crowded at all like the 'big hotel' areas. The condo was beautiful and we sooooo wish we could move in. This island is paradise and peace awaitng. WE CANT WAIT TO COME BACK!!!

  My husband and I booked this unit after seeing the pictures and e-mailing Rachel at Prestige Realty with a few questions. We have travelled extensively and have never been so impressed with the quality of caring hospitality which was extended by everyone at Prestige. We asked for some grocery items to start us off and said we wouldn't be renting a car at airport when our flight changed to a late arrival. Rachel arranged for a taxi to pick us up and it was a God send since the airport was completely packed on Sat. because of timeshare schedules and we were about 45 minutes late. Our driver was right outside with our name and we were wisked to our condo. A delightful young man, Toine, checked us in, showed us around and we had to pick our jaws from the floor-the unit was even more beautiful and HUGE than pictured. The groceries were in fridge along with a nice bottle of comp champagne, we just paid him with a tip. So this unit is gorgeous, clean, quiet, has great beach chairs, cooler and is right above the pool that has falls, changes colors of blues through the night and has a sand entrance just like the ocean. Lots of loungers and shade with spectacular landscaping, too. Holy Moly, the perfect vacation ! But, it's just begun; we woke to a fabulous ocean view and a short walk across street to white sand with only a few other couples and families-no problem getting a palapa every day. We never did rent a car, but used the bus, which stopped right there (2.30 r/t for whole day) or a taxi to pick up more groceries. There are so many restaurants, but we walked to Tulip for several lunches and enjoyed it, bussed to Fishes and More and Casa Tua for casual dinners by the high rises-both very good. We walked to Chalet Suisse (awesome lamb and service), enjoyed a great dinner in bed at the Screaming Eagle (a must) and got rained out at Passions, but bonus - met a great couple at happy hour and enjoyed their company for our last days. We were going to do a sunset sail, but the weather turned a little iffy later in the week, so next time. We LOVED the entire property, location, condo and realty company and have never felt so "at home" on vacation. Many thanks; we can't wait to go back !

  Just got home from a week's stay at this condo. It has such a great view of the beach and sunsets. The beach is steps away. The condo is very comfortable, clean and well equipped. This was our first trip to Aruba, but we definitely plan to go back to this property.

  Without a doubt, this is now our favorite place to stay in Aruba. We rented the one bedroom unit on the third floor and enjoyed the amazing view of the pool and the beach from the two balconies. All of the basics we needed were there in the unit and the kitchen was awesome to cook in. Although the two of us were there for relaxation, we noticed that there is a lot for kids to do on and around the property with the pool, the beach, the tennis court on property and a water park close by, behind the property. It was a totally different experience than staying in a resort - much more relaxed and comfortable! It felt more like we were staying in our vacation home compared to the uncomfortable hotel feeling you get staying at a resort. The unit (and the entire property) was clean and maintained, pool was never crowded, the security staff were friendly, helpful and always on post. As far as location, you can't beat it! We love the location of Eagle Beach because it's between Oranjestad and Palm Beach - the two areas we spend a lot of our nights in. I can't tell you how amazing Alan was - he is so friendly and helpful. Before arriving, he answered all of our questions immediately and explained the entire rental process clearly. Upon our arrival, he went through all of the paperwork quickly and he explained the "ground rules" and information very clearly. I really cannot wait to plan our return trip with him. The pictures that you see online are beautiful - but you have to see this place in person. It's gorgeous and the pictures don't do it enough justice!

  This place was fantastic. The view over the ocean was beautiful from both of the private balconies. Being on the third floor allowed us to see over the palm trees and observe many ships in the distance coming into Oranjestad harbor. We spent many hours on the balconies in the constant warmth of the ever-present trade winds. The written description and photos on the website accurately depict the unit. The rooms are large and the bed was very comfortable. We found the kitchen to be fully equipped. All dishes, cookware, appliances, etc. were new and of high quality. The pool was beautiful. Our representative, Alan, was very friendly and helpful. We rented a small car for the entire week. Alan coordinated the rental for us. It is easy to see much of the island in a week, since it is only about 20 miles long. Snorkeling at Baby Beach was great. Almost the entire Baby Beach snorkeling lagoon is less than five feet deep, which is great for first time snorkelers and terrible swimmers. The California Lighthouse and the island's north shore are also great destinations. Driving in Oranjestad was fun but challenging. Learn the traffic signs BEFORE driving in Oranjestad! Eating dinners out is expensive, but worth it. We loved Screaming Eagle (within walking distance - try eating "in bed"), Flying Fishbone and Iguana Joe's. We would definitely recommend this place to others. Unlike most of the high rise area hotels, it allowed us to eat our breakfasts and lunches "in", thereby saving our money for nice dinners out.

I'm happy to see independently confirmed that the photos and descriptions on the website "accurately depict the unit", because it is not easy to give an inquirerer a good and vivid feel of the condo and its surroundings just by using words and pictures through e-mail and on the website; one often have to experience it to really get the feel, but this review comes very close to doing it with just words! This review underscores important highlights of the unit: balcony with panoramic ocean view, large spacious rooms, comfortable beds, fully equipped kitchen, beautiful pool, etc. Further, this review not only adresses the unit, but also elaborates some more on restaurants in "walking distance" (one of several is the Screaming Eagle; just one block away), sightseeing highlights (Lighthouse, north shore, etc.) and vacational activities (e.g. snorkeling). About the rental car: Eventhough the unit is literally just a few steps from the beach, and public transportation is just outside the gate - unless you want to simply relax and spend time swimmimg, suntanning or doing other beach activities - I always recommend renting a car to explore the island and to have extra mobility. We have a special arrangement for our guests with a local car rental company, and our guests are picked-up at the airport immediately after arrival of their flight, with their car waiting. This is part of what we mean when we say: "We treat all our guests as special guests!" And this also why guests (like these) start their review by saying...."fantastic!" Thanks again. Alan.

  My husband and two boys stayed in this unit for one night b/c we were waiting on a 2 bedroom unit (which was beautiful) to be available. This unit is very nice. Decorated tastefully and the bedroom is huge! I was surprised at how large the unit is. The unit is right above the pool and at night the lights are gorgeous. There is a nice, clean fitness room that we used every day and the pool was not crowded at all. There is a sandy "beach" at the low end of the pool. The beach is across the street, but only a few feet and that stretch of beach is one of the prettiest on Aruba. We went to the beach at the high rise hotel strip and it was so crowded, people were packed in like sardines with no free umbrellas. We left and went back to our pool and felt so lucky! We had a rental car and explored the island. If you didn't want to get a car, you could easily take a cab to the restaurants at night. There are several (3) good restaurants in walking distance from the unit. I felt very safe in Aruba. The people are so nice and friendly. Not once did I feel uncomfortable. I felt appreciated as a tourist everywhere we went. Alan (condo manager) is a genuine good guy. He came right away when we called him for something and took care of it with a "no problem" attitude. We think, after seeing the high rise section and the rest of the island, that this is the best place to stay in Aruba. You get privacy and space in a beautiful unit and you can get to any restaurant in 5 minutes.

  We stayed in this 1-bedroom in November 2007; we were actually one of the first guests in this unit because it is a new resort on the Eagle beach of Aruba. We enjoyed very much the service provided by the owner's agent, the great view from our balcony, and not to forget the sunset view everyday. The unit is much more spacious than we expected. The swimming pool under our balcony lights up gorgeously at night, very romantic. The beach is just outside, good restaurants are very close by, but we still recommend a rental car to see the rest of the island.
