This beautiful, three plus bedroom, two bathroom home is situated in Northstar minutes away from the world class new Northstar Village. Spacious master with king size bed, 14 x 20 foot loft with queen size bed and 2 bedrooms downstairs, with a queen and twins. Large great room with 20 foot ceilings, fireplace and dining area. Modern kitchen with granite counter tops and breakfast far. This is an old style cabin that has been extensively remodeled new floors, kitchen, windows, baths, etc. You and your family or group will be very comfortable in this home. Enjoy the fireplace, TV, and WiFi internet access while gazing out the many windows at the beautiful trees. There is a large deck outdoor for summer BBQ's.
Includes recreation pass to Northstar Club which features Health Spa, swimming pools, hot tubs, exercise center and game room. There is a small daily use fee just recently imposed.
The Northstar Resort complex offers free round the clock on demand shuttles from the condo to Village (about 2 minutes away) shops, restaurants, health club, and lift system. It is about five minutes driving distance to downtown historic Truckee shops and restaurants which can also be reached by free Northstar shuttle service. 20-30 minutes to Sugarbowl, Squaw Valley, and Alpine Meadows, and Diamond Peak. Send the kids skiing on the bus and join them later. Shuttle pick up just outside your door. Truly a destination resort.

The owner was a pleasure to work with to set up our stay at the property. As well, she maintained contact/was accessible to ensure that we were comfortable, settled in and had any questions answered with regard to our 4 night stay. My family of five had a great time at the house and skiing at Northstar (shuttle service was always prompt to pick up at the house/village), and the location and amenities of the house made for a fun and relaxing time (key was the yard for our young children to play outside when not skiing - someone previously had build an igloo that could fit at least 6 kids inside!). We will certainly remain in contact with the owner for our future stays at Northstar resort!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, girls getaway, families with young children.

Year Purchased: 1999
About the owner: I am now retired but I fell in love with Northstar when my children were young. I was a single mom in the late 70's just learning to ski and this was a wonderful family oriented resort where I felt comfortable and safe with my children. Since that time, all my grandchildren have learned to ski or board here. We have made wonderful memories. I first purchased a studio condo, then a 3 bedroom condo and finally this home which I have extensively upgraded. It feels like our little mountain lodge which we all love. Northstar has changed over the years, but is still family oriented with great summer activities and the best snow grooming Tahoe. It has become a world class mountain resort for all seasons.
Why the Owner Chose Northstar:
This is where my family enjoyed renting when we would go visit Tahoe. Northstar is the most family friendly resort we have been too with easy access to the mountain for skiing, mountain biking, hiking, great restaurants and shops. There is something for everyone. We literally park our car and take the shuttles everywhere we go.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
We enjoy the quiet location. Our property is located on Beaver Pond, which is a loop with only a dozen or so luxury homes with a lot of green space between them. There is very little traffic and we enjoy the easy access in the summer to a walking trail that takes us on a 5 minute walk to the Village.
