  The owners where very kind and considerate as we had to schedule our vacation twice in 2011. When we finally arrived we were greeted upon our arrival at the ferry dock and transferred over to the house quickly. My 3 children enjoyed the short walk to the beach to snorkel and quickly made friends with the children staying in the nearby homes. Who could ask for more! My daughter even cried when we had to leave. If that doesn't say how much we loved the home nothing else will! We hope to go back in several years and stay at Bananaquit again. Truly an amazing experience from the home to spending time on the island. Thank you for the memories!

  Bananaquit is delightful. Everything the reviews say and pictures show. Roomy and clean..our family group of 6 adults and 2 toddlers had a wonderful holiday. Steps down a sandy lane to delightful Bita Bay and situated mid island for easy access to town and restaurants...and other beaches. Mary has outfitted this home with anything anyone could want...including a pack and play and high chair and pails and shovels. (we left you a few blow up beach toys!) Our vacation on Green Turtle was everything we hoped for and more and Bananaquit was one of the reasons why!

  Bananaquit is wonderful! Our family vacation (3 generations including 2 under 2) had the best time! The house is ideal.Clean and comfortable. Wonderful deck at back for morning sun/breakfast on the outdoor screened porch wrapping around side to a lovely deck to sit at sundown! Everything you could possibly want is included. ...Including pack and play and child seat for table. A quick walk down sandy path leads you to Bita Bay with its gorgeous white sand and soft waves at low tide. Perfect for sand castles and swimming! Viewed several other homes while on the island and this is the best! Thanks Mary for a wonderful holiday.

  Bananaquit was perfect for our group of 8. Luxurious, clean, loved the three! bathrooms, great sound system, comfy beds, and open kitchen/lounge area plus screened porch. Really really charming. Ocean and snorkeling were very close; we were lucky to have water visability down to 20 feet; lots to see underwater, even sharks. It is hard to beat Green Turtle for a low-key and relaxin' place.

  What a beautiful house. Very bright and clean. Very well equipped kitchen and roomy bedrooms. The pictures are very true. Just a slight walk to the beautiful beach on Bita Bay. The owner Mary was most helpful and we would stay at Bananaquit again.

  This summer, we had the pleasure of staying at Bananaquit while on our annual jaunt to Green Turtle. We were seven adults and one infant and the house had all the room and everything we needed for a perfect stay. Bananaquit really is as clean, fresh, and well-built as it appears in the photographs. The kitchen is well-appointed with new appliances and handsome plates and cutlery. We cooked several exquisite meals and were never want for a single pot, pan, or utensil. The gas grille on the back porch was perfect for grilling the fish we speared each day. The beds and bedding were as inviting as our own at the end of each day and the rooms and bathrooms have the feel of an upscale hotel. We set up our crib and monitor in the small office, which gets very dark when the curtains are down, and our daughter slept marvelously. If you have an infant or toddler, this extra room alone makes the house perfect. Nestled in an enclave of native growth with views of Bita Bay, the esthetics at Bananaquit are unmatched. The upstairs porch is a must each evening. Being halfway from the Club and halfway from town, the only sounds you'll hear are the waves lapping the nearby white sand beach. This is by far my favorite location to stay on Green Turtle because the best shore-based snorkeling is here. Just on the North side of the small island in the bay are enormous coral caves filled with grouper, parrot fish, lobster, and a laundry list of tropical species. Bananaquit House is everything the description says it is, plus a little more. The only major problem with this house is that, at the end of your stay, you have to leave. We can't wait until next year. Oh, and if you are wondering what a Bananaquit is, check out Wikipedia.

  Saw the listing photos and gave it a shot ... it is even better than it looks! Spotlessly clean and well-maintained. Great location halfway between Green Turtle Club and town. Public boat dock right around the corner (3 minutes by Golf Cart). owner a huge help ... both the rental boat and our two rental carts were delivered right to us at Benson's dock where we departed the ferry from Treasure. Beautiful, bright home, very new. Great Room with HD big-screenTV, dining area and kitchen, wrap-around porch. Quiet little office, Wi-Fi and a local cell phone. Beautiful baths, all the amenities of a new home. Comfortable beds, walk-in closets, very very nice. We would definitely stay there again.

  My husband and I stayed here on our honeymoon from 8/09/2010 thru 8/20/2010. We had such an amazing time at the Milec's house! We took a couple of friends for the first 5 days and then stayed alone the remainder of the time. This truly is Paradise! Bita Bay (beach down the path from the Milec house) is by far the most amazing! At low tide it was like a gigantic pool with the most beautiful landscape. We ate at the Blue Bee Bar and had one of Miss Emily's famous Goombay Smashes, they were great! The house was very clean and new. It had everything we needed including the most beautiful deck to lenjoy the view! We rented a golf cart from Seaside Carts & received the best customer service. She brought the cart to us and even assisted with a map & personal directions of things to do. She even called the ferry to have them pick us up from Bensons dock when we were leaving since it was closer for us. We can't thank you enough for sharing your home!

  I believe that we were the first ones to stay in this amazing house! We met our family there for Christmas and had a great time. There was tons of room for all of us. We enjoyed snorkeling on the reef, boat rides and exploring the island. We would highly recommend this place and can't wait to go back!
