Great cabin!!!

A beautiful cabin that is in a great location! Close enough to Banner Elk for convenience but far away enough for privacy and peace. We skied at Sugar for 3 days and had a blast. The cabin is warm, well built, comfortable and big enough to handle 3 kids and 2 adults. The kids enjoyed playing outside beside the creek and the stone fireplace kept us warm. Lots of unique interior features show that the owners really care about the property. We will be back!

My family of 5 (including our 18 year and 16 year old sons) stayed for 3 nights. We felt right at home. This home is beautiful and very clean. It's tucked away and gives you the feeling of being far away instead of only 3 miles from the center of Banner Elk. The fresh flowers were a very sweet touch. My youngest son left something behind and the owner sent me an email immediately about it and had it sent to us the next day. There's plenty of room to spread out and the architecture is so interesting and unique. We will definitely be back and will recommend to everyone. A great place to stay! We felt like we were staying at a friends house, not at a rental property!

My wife & I spent a few days at Hemlock Heaven Log Cabin with our grandson. We hiked, went fishing, Grandfather Mountain, Linville Caverns, Linville Falls and Tweetsie Railroad. We had a ball! My grandson loved staying in the cabin and really enjoyed playing with Ballie & Bear. (Love Bears new haircut) Toni was a wonderful host and made us feel like family. (Thanks Toni) I would stay here again and again and again. Well you get my point :-} This Cabin is great place to stay and is a short drive to want ever you want to do. When you set on the front porch in the early morning and have your coffee, you will understand why it’s called Hemlock “ HEAVEN”

Just like the previous reviewer, my wife and I stayed at Hemlock Heaven. We must have stayed there after them in mid-July. The pictures posted here do not do the cabin justice. It is much more spectacular and beautiful than this site lets on. Toni was absolutely wonderful and was very accommodating. Just outside of Banner Elk, Hemlock Heaven is definitely a place to stay when you want to get away for a weekend or an entire week.

My wife and I stayed in Hemlock Heaven in early July 2010 for about ten days, and we absolutely loved every minute! The photos you see simply don't do the cabin justice. It's a beautiful place, very private and secluded. We ate breakfast and dinner on the patio almost every day, and spent countless hours just relaxing and enjoying the surroundings. The owners, Toni and Patrick, are terrific people and made our stay very enjoyable. (They even invited us along with their friends to watch the World Cup games in Boone, which was a blast!) I'd recommend this property without hesitation. We look forward to hopefully returning one day soon!
