The home was recently renovated including a wonderful high end, well stocked kitchen for the discerning cook!
Viking appliances and 2 1/2' carrera marble countertops. Enjoy your meal inside or al fresco on the spacious deck or just loll about in the hot tub while being serenaded by the outdoor speakers. If a little exercise is needed feel free to row yourself around the cove or just lounge around in the hammock and read a book! A spacious master bedroom is located on the main floor with connected full bathroom. 2 bedrooms are located upstairs with a full bath .

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Serenity over the Thanksgiving holidays. The kitchen was well-stocked with all the right equipment to cook a large Thanksgiving meal. The view is incredible and the house is in excellent condition. We hope to go back in the future!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, families with young children, pet owners.

I enjoyed the stay overall. The location is secluded and has good access to the lake. They had extra mattresses in the closets for guests and the rooms were spacious. good swimming location. The owner has not returned my security deposit, and has not returned any of my calls or emails. Renters beware.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

This house is everything you have read and more. The kitchen is very spacious and well appointed. Whatever you need to cook with will be right there at your fingertips. We cooked all of our meals at the house except the last night--the boys had eaten everything in the fridge. Having a Walmart nearby was very convienent for those grocery runs. We rented a boat from Lake Wylie Boat rentals and enjoyed several days riding around on the lake. The house is only about 30 minutes away from Carowinds and the Nascar Hall of Fame. You really should contact Stacie about renting this house. You won't be disappointed. The house is decorated to a T and very clean.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, age 55+, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners.

Stayed for 5 nights with my 4 year old and my 84 year old mother-in-law. Everyone had a fabulous time. Especially appreciated first floor master and zero entry into the lake. Inlet was perfect for swimming - never saw another boat or person. House was well appointed, particularly the kitchen. All around great place to relax - we will stay again for our next visit!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, people with disabilities, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

We stayed in this beautiful home for two weeks while arranging our new place in Lake Wylie, and everything about our stay was perfect! The furnishings and decor are very tasteful and comfortable. The kitchen is outfitted with Viking appliances and a separate icemaker that kept up with our family of five with no trouble. The house is situated in a quiet cove off of the main lake, so you don't have the noise of jet skis and heavy boat traffic, but you can sit out on the porch and watch the fisherman as they quietly look for bass under the docks and in the shade of the trees. Dealing with Stacie was a real pleasure, too. Even though we needed the house on short notice, everything was done just right and the transaction was handled very smoothly. I can't think of a single negative thing to say about this property. Perfect and highly recommended!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners.

On a scale of 5 this lake house is definitely a 10. Located on a finger of the lake there is secluded water access that provides a safe and private swimming area not to mention the ideal place to enjoy nature at its best. The interior throughout is exquisitely appointed while maintaining the comfort to curl up with a book, lounge on the deck with a glass of wine or sit on the dock and enjoy the solitude. This was our first trip to South Carolina to share Thanksgiving with family and friends. Staying at the lake house provided the amenities to host a family dinner for 10 as though we were at home. Everything from pots and pans to delightful serving dishes was provided. What a pleasure it was to prepare a meal in such a well-appointed kitchen. Your help in recommending places to shop was extremely helpful. Waking up to a view of the water was a special treat. Definitely a must return for us. Wish we could have spent two weeks instead of one week enjoying the southern hospitality and serenity of the lake house. Thank you for sharing it with us.Did you find this review helpful? My family rented this charming lake house for a chance to get away and a softball tournament that was in nearby Rock Hill. It was much more than we expected! The kitchen was well stocked and had upgraded Viking appliances that made cooking very easy! The grill and hot tub on the second level deck were a bonus! We rented a boat for a day and got to see this beautiful lake first hand. The decorating of this home was incredible (the pictures don't do it justice)! The dock was very close and we took the rowboat out to the main lake! We will be back!!!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners.

Just returned from a few days at the lake - we had a wonderful trip! Stacie was a great communicator leading up to our stay - very prompt answering last minute questions while we were packing. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. I usually end up at a local Walmart purchasing various items for a vacation rental, but I am happy to say that was not the case - the house was very well stocked. We also rented a boat through Lake Wylie Boat Rentals which I would highly recommend. They even offer dog friendly rentals. When we weren't on the boat we enjoyed grilling out on the deck and soaking in the hot tub. Overall, a very relaxing and fun trip - we hope to do it again next year!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners.

I just returned from a trip to this house and I was extremely impressed. Everything from the communication from the owners to the overall experience was top notch. This house is closely located to many attractions, yet far enough away that you can enjoy the piece and quiet of lake front living. Very nicely decorated with everything you need made this an extremely enjoyable long weekend. If you are looking to enjoy relaxing evenings on the deck or hot tub, or spend your days on the lake, this is the spot for you. Thank you again, we look forward to returning next spring.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car.

About the owner: We are a fairly large family, there is my husband, myself , our four children and our cat . My parents also enjoy spending time with us at the lake.
Why the Owner Chose Lake Wylie:
With four children ranging in ages we wanted to find a place on the water that was not too far from home so we could visit for a week or just a day depending on our children's schedules. We loved the rustic nature and casual environment of Lake Wylie. The cove provides privacy and a serene haven from the daily routines. The water is perfect for swimming, boating or fishing.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
Lake Wylie is fabulous no matter what time of year. We enjoy nature treks in the winter, the weather, solitude and serenity of the Spring and Fall and the fun and festivity of summers. Our visits have always been a great time to reconnect and bond as a family.
