Accommodations - Private home includes master bedroom with King-size bed and Italian tile in master bath with soaking tub and shower. My husband and I just spent a warm spring week at this lovely beach cottage. The location in upscale Corolla was perfect. We love driving through the gated resort to the beach, beautiful! Corolla has tons to do, dine, shop, wild horse tours, fishing, golf, free workouts at the resort, tennis... I could go on and on. The house is up to date, well kept, super clean, and decorated very nicely ( not the usual rental house furniture!). We spent hours on the upper deck. off the living room, surveying the panoramic ocean views. In short, I wish I lived here full time! We are booking our fall vacation now. P.S. Owners are great to work with. Love the spring and fall great prices!

Our family decided to try something new this year and spend our holiday at the beach. We can not thank you enough for opening your lovely home to us. The size is perfect and the decorating very cool. We love driving through the beautiful resort and admiring the all the homes. OBX was a (mild) winter wonderland. We would love to come here every year and make this our holiday retreat.

Me, my husband and our dog stayed at this beautiful home for a week in May 2009. The house was very clean, had a lovely kitchen. large living room, and huge master bath! There are only two floors so we were able to live on one level. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and I loved the sunning deck and the front porch to relax. It was great waking up to a gorgeous sunrise over the ocean, and I was out on the back upper deck every morning with my camera and my dog. In the evening you could see the sunset from the front porch. The location reminded me of Wisteria Lane from Desperate Housewives. It was so nice. There is a large supermarket right outside of the development so no need to travel far for groceries. Also, lots of restaurants & shops nearby, and don't miss the wild horse tours!! The owners are extermely nice and I am happy to say that I have been staying at their homes since 2006. Their home in Ocean Hill is great as well, with awesome views of the Currituck lighthouse. We had a wonderful vacation here and would definitely recommend this house to others looking for a great get-away.

We cant wait to have our next vacation back at this house! The panoramic ocean views over the roof tops are fantastic. We would have breakfast on the deck every morning and watch the sun rise over the ocean. The decorating is really nice, not like the usual beach rental. I dont know of any other golf and tennis resorts at OBX and it was fun staying in a gated resort. The pool and hot tub was perfect. The 5 minute drive that curves through the beautiful resort to the private beach and parking was lovely, some days the kids took the trolley and loved it. The free work outs and play ground was fun too!

The house was clean and ready for 4:00 check-in. Owner was very nice and easy to deal with. Only negative - did not find linens for pull-out couch. Everything was in good working order. Description of location to beach was accurate. Pool was immaculate as was the hot tub. Weeds were pretty high around hot tub though and looked like they had not been attended to in a long time. I would definitely recommend the house to future residents.
