With my husband and several friends we rented this property for a weekend of wake boarding, jet skiing and relaxing. The house was clean, well furnished and perfect for a long weekend with good friends. The house was close to the lake, and community launch ramp/docks which made it convenient for our weekend on the water. The owners of the property were quick to respond to all of our email requests for information and they were familiar with the area surrounding their property. Our only complaint was how strict the gated community patrol personnel were. They were constantly informing us of rules that we needed to follow and we definitely felt like we were being stereotyped as the "renters" (i.e. temporarily parking with truck & boat/trailer on the side of the road while we hooked up the other vehicle to the jet skis etc.). When we realized this property was only 1 of a few rental properties in the community we finally understood the scrutiny and eventually made friends with the patrol personnel which made for a better weekend. All in all we had a great stay and are pleased we found this property on VRBO.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

We had such a wonderful time here. The house was very close to the lake and pool/clubhouse which we walked to every day. In the back there was a large patio where we spent most nights barbecuing and eating while taking in the beautiful scenery and relaxing. The home was well stocked with all of your kitchen needs (something you don't often see in rentals) and was so beautifully decorated throughout. Their attention to every detail was greatly appreciated. While at Lake Tulloch we usually go to Yosemite at least once, but this time we decided to go Colombia State Park. It was a fun place to visit the "old west" and pan for gold, have a sassafras float, or go for a ride on a stagecoach. It was also close to Lake Tulloch- about 30 minutes away. We have stayed at another home at Lake Tulloch, but it was not as nice as this home. We felt so comfortable here. And the owner was quite personable and quick to answer emails/questions. She was even kind enough to let us know that there were amenities for babies/children available to use for our 6 month old while we were there. Overall, this is a great place to relax and enjoy the lake (as well as the fun on the lake), and all with much enjoyment and comfort. We definitely plan to rent again. Perhaps even during the winter as the slopes are only 45 mins.to an hour away!!!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

My husband, family, and I are here right now. The home is tastefully decorated, and the kitchen is well stocked with cookware. (a plus). We are within walking distance of the water (really) and happy with our choice for a vacation rental. The owners are personable and respond quickly to questions.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.
