Residents and guests of Riverbend enjoy the EXCLUSIVE use of two private lakes, a beautiful beach, waterfall and picnic area. The Broad River also runs through Riverbend, which is fun for tubing, fishing and swimming. Wild turkeys and deer are common sights in the area.
Two championship golf courses and one municipal golf course are only minutes away. Boat rentals are available for your enjoyment at Lake Lure, which has excellent dining and a popular beach for the children. Visit nearby Chimney Rock Park and Village with its spectacular views and quaint shops. Easy day trips include the Biltmore Estate and Winery in Asheville and the Great Smokey Mountains National Park.

A Great Cabin for a Family Vacation

This log cabin is perfect for a family get-away. The kitchen is well supplied, there is plenty of room for sleeping, and the two full baths were nice after a long day of hiking. The house is built on a hill so looking out the back windows feels like being in a tree house. We enjoyed exploring the area. Hiking at nearby Chimney Rock State Park was spectacular. We found other hiking spots nearby and also walked on the roads near the cabin. The river edge park in Chimney Rock was a nice place to rest and relax to the sound of rushing water. Lake Luke is beautiful -- no wonder this is one of the most popular lakes in North Carolina. Thanks for letting us share your cabin. The kids will always remember the fun we had there.

Thank you so much for welcoming us into your cabin. There was plenty of room for the whole family to relax and play. The kids enjoyed using the loft space for games and puzzles. We all enjoyed the views from the balconies, playing in the waterfalls by Mirror Lake, and tubing on the French Broad River. We also loved being so close to Chimney Rock. Thank you again for sharing your comfortable home with us.
