This "Classic Design" log cabin has 1344 square feet of spacious living area and all the comforts of home. The cabin was built with fine quality features including gorgeous open beam construction, hardwood floors, metal roof, Pella windows, Carrier central air conditioning/heat, full front porch and wrap around side and rear decks. Enjoy your favorite book or a glass of wine in front of the gas log fireplace which has a remote control for your convenience. If you like cooking, the Bear Hug has has all the amenities including a full line of stainless steel appliances, utensils, blender, microwave and more. There is a BBQ grill on the rear deck to cook a great steak while taking in the outdoors and the cool mountain air. The loft is a nice getaway which has a satellite tv, video games for the kids and French door access to the upper deck for more mountain views. Enjoy a movie in the living room as it also has a satellite TV with DVD/VCR. There is local phone service but most cell phones work well at the cabin. The Master bedroom has a queen bed, guest bedroom has two twin beds, living room sofa pulls out to a queen size bed and the loft futon pulls out to a very comfortable full size bed. This very clean Non-Smoking Log Cabin is on a wooded 1+ acre parcel in Riverbend which is GATED for your peace of mind and privacy. Residents and guests of Riverbend enjoy the EXCLUSIVE use of two private lakes, a beautiful beach, waterfall and picnic area. The Broad River also runs through Riverbend which is fun for tubing, fishing and swimming. Wild turkeys and deer are common sights in the area. Two championship golf courses and one municipal golf course are only a few minutes away. Boat rentals are also available for your enjoyment at Lake Lure which also has excellent dining and a popular beach for the children. Visit nearby Chimney Rock Park and Village with its spectacular views and quaint shops. Also visit the Biltmore Estate and Winery in Asheville which is less than an hour away.
