This house was perfect! We had 9 adults on our annual mountain bike vacation. The house offers enough space so that none of us ever felt crowded. The kitchen is large and well appointed. Plenty of dishes/glasses/utensils for everyone. The common space and deck offered enough areas that folks could read, nap, plan out a ride, soak in the hot tub or just chat comfortably. The garage was spacious and offered enough space to store and work on our bikes. The house was clean and well maintained. If anything I don't think the write up did the house justice! The owner was easy to work with and the house instructions regarding the hot tub/wi-fi/checke out etc. were well laid out. We can't wait to come back next year!Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers.

We had a WONDERFUL time in Bend! We mountain biked every day, and also got out to see Crater Lake, Smith Rock, and to float the river. Everyone in my family enjoyed the house. At one point we had 10 bikes in the garage (including the 5 my hubby and I brought) AND skis (my hubby and cousin's hubby attempted a ski at Bachelor as they are trying to ski once in every month of 2011), and loved that everyone had enough room for their bikes, gear, etc. Every morning my sister-in-law would sit in the big cushy corner chair in the livingroom with her coffee, my mom would sit out on the deck in the sun, my dad and his sister would zip over to Newport Market to pick up a newspaper and some sort of breakfast treat, and the rest of us would be filling our Camelpaks and getting ready for another awesome mountain bike ride. Ahhhh, vacation! My two year old niece LOVED the kids room and all of the toys. Thanks again for providing such a great house, and an easy rental process! We've used VRBO a lot, and this was by far the best experience. I race for a women's cycling team in Seattle and will definitely make sure to recommend your house to all 72 of my teammates!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

This was a work trip for Dad, but the house made for a comfortable vacation. We appreciated all the high quality amenities. With two little ones on nap schedules – this was truly the way to go! Couldn’t ask for better proximity to mountain biking. We enjoyed Phils trail as well as the Deschutes River Trail. We’d love to come back & see more trails when the snow melts. And, wow! Got lucky enough to have a windfree, bluebird day(s) at Bachelor. We’d love to come back! ? The Rector Family, Idaho.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

What a great house! You have thought of everything for your guests. Master bedroom was so comfortable, and I wish I could pick up the closet and take it home. Grandsons loved the toys and the space. I could have spent all my time just lounging like a queen in this lovely home. All the comfort of home and more. But I did enjoy venturing to the cute downtown for 1st Friday Artwalk and to the High Desert Museum is a must see! Thanks for opening your fabulous home to guest. Hilton has a long way to go to match! – S. Jotblad, Boulder, Colorado (quoted from guest book)Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Thanks again for another wonderful stay in your home. The house is very child friendly and well equipped. It has lots of nice little touches. For those in Summer, the ski lift to the top of Mt. Bachelor is well worth the view (quoted from guest book)Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0
