  The unit was clean and the location is great. The beach was a short walk and so were many amenities in town. The pool and hottub area was a great place to hang out.

  Encinitas is a great vacation get-away and this townhome made us feel right at home. It was comfortable for three couples, close to Moonlight Beach, clean and well stocked. We hope to visit again.

  We just came home from an amazing week at this place! Our party had 5 adults and a 2.5 year old. You can't beat the set up..3 bedrooms and 3 private baths! Everything we needed was right there, including everything for the beach! The pool was right out our back door and had amazing views of the ocean & incredible sunsets! We did have some WIFI difficulty but the owner, Brian made certain the problem was resolved quickly. Great location(we walked into town for meals), and easy enough beach access! Do not hesitate to rent this place! What you see is what you get.....only better!

  This three bedroom condo was wonderful for our family of six. It was spacious, clean and comfortable! We enjoyed the short walk to the beach. We would recommend it for a family or two couples.

  Our party included 5 adults and 1 toddler. The property could easily sleep 3 more. Condo was very spacious and clean and well-maintained upon our arrival. The area was extremely quiet during the day and at night. We walked to breakfast (Potato Shack, Swami's, Hwy 101 Cafe) several days. Bring a flashlight if you plan to walk late at night. We essentially had the pool area to ourselves. Cool temperatures kept us from using the pool. We were able to sun bathe comfortably near the glass wall and head back to MN with a tan. Moonlight Beach was just 2 blocks away. Steps to the beach from the pool area were quite long and steep. We met Brian within 24 hours of our arrival. He had suggestions regarding age-appropriate activities and restaurants. We had no need to contact him during the remainder of our stay.

  Recommended for: Families with young children, sightseeing, age 55+, girls getaway.

  We had a tremendous time in Encinitas at this private home. The home has very large, modern rooms. The location and views can't be beat. And it is walking distance to many fantastic shops. Oh ya... there are steps out the back down to the beach. We will certainly go back!

  The condo was very nice and for the 1st time actually clean!! We've rented 3 x's through VRBO & been disappointed. The kitchen was equipped with ample dishes & utensils, plenty of towels & beach towels available, chairs & umbrellas for the beach & pleasantly decorated. The owners seem genuinely interested in keeping the unit clean. Great location for restaurants and short walk to beach. Steps from property too steep numerous & steep. I would definitely recommend to a friend.....

  We've traveled all over the world and this Encinitas condo ranks up at the top of our favorite destinations. The condo was so nice our kids wanted to move in permanently -- really. Everything was clean, and well maintained and appointed. The kitchen had everything we needed, and more. We loved relaxing in the living room, which was beautiful, comfortable, and supplied with numerous boardgames to play. Each bedroom had sumptuous beds that, unlike so many places, had lots of support and bedding that made us want to stay there all day. There was also lots of closet room -- more even than our teenage daughter could fill. The complex's grounds were great, too. The resort-like pool area features a knock-out ocean view and was a great place to kick back with kids or without. While swimming and relaxing we met a lot of exceptionally nice people, which also says a lot about a vacation spot. Everyone we met was warm and friendly. The condo's location is also exceptional. It's just a short walk to a wonderful beach where we went bodysurfing and boogie boarding. It looked great for regular surfing, too. There were several lifeguard stations to make novice beach goers feel secure, showers and a rental place that offered food and beach equipment. The surf wasn't too big for our 5th grader, but enough to add a bit of excitement. We spent some amazing days just swimming and boogie boarding while we were there -- times we will treasure for a long time. We also walked around the town of Encinitas, which is charming, filled with resturants and great shops, and is only minutes from the condo so you don't even have to get in your car. We really appreciated being able to leave our car in the garage at the condo and forget about driving. At the same time, San Diego was close enough that it didn't take long to get there when we were ready to make that trip. All in all, we would certainly recommend this place to anyone and plan to return ourselves next summer.

  We stayed here for two weeks in April, 2011. We had six guests, myself, my husband, my parents, and our two young children. The condo worked wonderfully for us. We especially enjoyed the single floor layout, the large bedrooms, and well-equiped kitchen. The kids often played in the fenced-in lawn area while we enjoyed sitting on the porch. The walk to Moonlight Beach is an easy block away, and the walk to town took only 5 minutes. We did not use the beach access from the condo, as the stairs were a bit precarious for the kids. We also enjoyed the hot-tub and pool area... although, the pool was a bit cold. The landscaping was especially beautiful, and the privacy was appreciated. We would definitely stay here again on our return to Encinitas!

  My family and I stayed at this unit in January, 2011. I use VRBO frequently and this is by far the best place i have stayed, Encinitas or otherwise. The 3BR/3BA is very spacious with a ton of upgrades. Walk to Moonlight Beach in less than 5 minutes is a dream come true, especially for those families with young children. Everything you need to get started (paper towels, soap, dish and laundry detergent etc. etc.) is already there. Brian was extremely helpful, accommodating, and quick to turn around emails. Would definitely recommend and would stay again in a heartbeat.
