We love Dewees's environmentalism as well as the pristine beaches, great birding and fishing. When our family and friends come to the island, the stress just rolls off them. Dewees is so peaceful and beautiful. We just love it.
Why the Owner Chose Dewees Island
Dewees is very close to Charleston and all of the city's charms, yet the island is peaceful and serene. The island provides a great way to get away from it all. It remains in a much more natural state than many ocean islands. At the same time, the island has a beautiful pool. Great fishing. Great birding. Gorgeous beaches.
The Unique Benefits of this Condo
One golf cart is included with your rental. Additional golf carts can be rented for a fee of $50.00 per day.
Home is cleaned and provided with fresh linens and towels, minimal cooking equipment and dinnerware. Paper towels, toilet paper and coffee packets are in the suites.

I have stayed here several times and it reminds me of good ole fashioned vacations--nice but homey, bunk beds for the kids, a large screened in porch for eating and relaxing, great bird watching, close proximity to the beach--and with the very nature-y feel that is part of Dewees. Highly recommended. We always come back from Dewees having had a great time and feeling very renewed.
