However, said a recent guest...'We rented this house for the Memorial Weekend, it was so beautiful and what you see in the pictures is exactly what you find...no lies. The rooms, the decorations are unbelievably tasteful. The moment you walk in the front door you feel like you are in one of those big houses in Beverly Hills, that's how beautiful it was. We were 9 people and we were all comfortable. The kids enjoyed the house too. The kitchen was full of top of the line appliances and gadgets, we cook so the kitchen was very important to us. We are planning on renting this particular house every year for a holiday. (2009)'
This newly remodeled mid-century modern home offers a unique experience of comfort, privacy and space. Tucked away from sight on the 17th hole of the Indian Canyons Golf Resort, North Course, guests are invited to stay home and experience this feature rich home or venture out to play one of two distinctively different golf courses. Nestled at the base of the San Jacinto Mountains, the upscale Canyon Estate neighborhood is tranquil, with less wind and premium mountain views. This year-round resort home is furnished for guest comfort. All rooms have large sliding glass doors that open to outside patio areas and swimming pool access. Two covered patios with fans and misting systems cover the entire back of the home to enhance the resort experience.
This home is tastefully decorated and furnished for comfort. Travertine floors in the common areas blend with outdoor tiles to enhance the indoor/outdoor experience. The entertainment features HBO, Showtime, and wireless internet for those who work and play away from home.
This four bedroom, three bath home offers three luxurious California King beds and one Queen bed. The master suite has a large walk-in closet, dressing area, luxurious shower and backyard access. Two of the other bedrooms have attached bathrooms. All linens and bedding are top quality and wall mounted LCD televisions are in each room. Bedrooms feature reading or working areas with ample lighting.
The private backyard features an oversized salt water pool, a beautiful lawn area, a built-in BBQ and gas fire pit. Guests are invited to enjoy the cool Palm Springs mornings form the eastern facing living room and covered patio, the mid-day Palm Springs heat under the mist-covered, fan equipped patios and the Palm Springs evenings at the fire pit looking west to Mt. San Jacinto.

About the owner: We grew up in the mid-west but have raised three adult children in Northern California. When the kids were younger, we spent most of our vacations with relatives. More recently, we have traveled to Europe, China, Africa and Central America.
Why the Owner Chose Private Homes, Canyon Country Club:
We discovered Palm Springs when some friends purchased several properties in PS and invited us to visit. We fell in love with relaxed pace, the great golf courses and the multitude of incredible restaurants.
