What a wonderful escape from the cold weather that Mother Nature gave us as a bonus this spring, up North. The house was beautiful, even better than what we saw in the VRBO pictures. TONS of sleeping options and lots of windows to let in all the sunshine. Great communication with the management and easy to get to. Sandestin itself has a ton to do and the surrounding areas are packed with activities. The "bay" side of Sandestin is the definition of peaceful tranquility. Wonderful walks and beautiful sights. It was so relaxing, and the ocean side beach was just a short trip away. The beautiful sugary white sand was amazing and the water was actually warm enough to swim (at least for the "Northerners" in our group). This is truly a great get-away! :)Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children, sightseeing.
