We rented this cabin for my 30th birthday. It was a great location for us since it's close to the highway taking you to Kirkwood but also not too far from the casinos. There is also a market nearby which is very convenient. There wasn't much snow so we ended up staying in the cabin for most of the trip. The layout is perfect for large groups since the dining, kitchen and living room is all one big space and has sliding doors opening to the deck. The cabin is decorated beautifully and with quality in mind. It's also very well maintained. I like that there is room to park two cars in the garage. I honestly couldn't find anything to complain about. The owner, John, was responsive and helpful. Paying to stay in your cabin was a pleasure.

Thanks John for the use of your home. We had three families in the home and everyone truly enjoyed themselves. The week before we went up Tahoe had a huge storm so the kids were able to play right out front. The property was awesome and had all the amenities of home. We truely enjoyed ourselves and will look to book with you in the future.

Our group of 10 had so much fun enjoying the beautiful home and its wonderful amenties. The "cabin" decor was very soothing and fitting in the serene "wilderness" environment. There was enough space for us to relax throughout the house. And we loved the "great room," and how everyone was able to all gather in the same area, whether it be while cooking a wonderful meal in the kitchen or laying out on the couch or enjoying a meal on the large dining table. We also took a walk around the property, we definitely appreciated the crisp and fresh air and the large backyard surrounded with tall trees.

My husband and I stayed here last January for birthday celebrations with friends, and had an amazing time. The master bed/bath upstairs is just extraordinary. Dual fireplace, heated floors...couldn't have been much better. There were a number of couples and there was plenty of space for everyone. The gourmet kitchen was perfect for the foodie in me to come out and have some fun. There's really nothing like sledding down a hill next to the home and then jumping in the hot tub afterwards to warm up your bones. It's about a 20 min. drive to the casinos, but well worth it as the home was comfortable and gorgeous. The only thing that could have been improved was the TV system...wanted to watch a movie but couldn't hook up my laptop to the older TV. Not a big deal - we just played a game instead.

We truly have a great four-night stay in this home. The pictures do show you what to expect but there is so much more. It has a great 2nd story balcony looking at the southern exposure with awe-inspiring views of the stars at night and a lovely swing to sit and ponder. This is just a wonderful home to relax and feel welcomed.

What a great place! The accomodations were perfect for our two families. Someone sure knows how to decorate and supply a kitchen. I think we picked the best week for spring skiing. Both Heavenly and Kirkwood showed us a good time. The hot tub was welcoming after the slopes. Thanks so much for preparing such a nice place for our pleasure while vacationing. We would love to return.

We had a wonderful time! Your home is beautiful and very very comfortable. This is our 5th trip to Tahoe and this is the nicest place we have ever stayed. To quote our 5 year ole grandson, "It's awesome!" Our son, a chef, enjoyed using the kitchen. We love the decor and the attention to detail. Except for an "unfriendly" craps table, this was a perfect trip. We look forward to returning next year.

Hi John, I just want to tell you that my family and I had the BEST time in Tahoe this past weekend, thanks to your beautiful home!! We rent cabins there at least 3 times a year and we have never experienced such a warm and comfortable rental before! It felt so much like home, and we liked it so much we didn't even want to leave for the slopes! Thank you for the wine! I will definitely contact you again when I am ready to head up to Tahoe.
