Loreto Bay is a resort town outside Loreto, Mexico, on the eastern coast of Baja California Sur, along three miles of pristine Baja beach front. This lovely and historic region is bordered by the Sierra de la Giganta mountain range, to the west, and by the Sea of Cortes, to the east. The house is only ten minutes south of downtown Loreto, the original capital of the Californias. One of the highlights of the area is the Isle Coronado, with it's pristine water, and white sandy beaches. And Isle Carmen, known for it's abundant sea life. Both are just a short Ponga boat ride away.
Loreto Bay is known as a world renowned sport fishing area, where Marlin, Mahi-Mahi, Dorado, Yellow-Fin thrive abundantly... Visit during the spawning season, and you can see the Grey Whales in Magdalena Bay. Loreto Bay is a designated Biosphere, and is home to hundreds of species of tropical sea life, with several species of whale. Jacques Cousteau referred to it as the aquarium of the world.

This is a beautiful, huge unit. Comfy, cozy with a separate bedroom suite with it's own large patio upstairs. Huge bathrooms with showers and soaker tubs in both bedroom suites. We brought a single cup coffee maker or there is a local coffee bar that I loved, El Corizon. No TV in this unit, but that was fine with us. Wi-fi and computer you can use in the Community Center - bring some extra books for their reading library. I highly recommend staying here and I hope we return soon. Loreto Bay is wonderful with mostly retired folk. The grounds and landscaping is immaculate and the units are gorgeous. We played the back 9 and loved the course - lots of water play. There is a local store, fresh market, coffee and even massage/mani/pedi shops right in the development with plenty of local restuarants if you stay local. We loved the new pizza parlor and the breakfasts at the little market was great. The pool is wonderful and my daughter lived there. Loreto town is quiet, sweet and friendly. I don't think you can go wrong eating anywhere. We ate all over town and from the taco stands mostly. Recommend Super Burro for the potatoes in foil. We rented a car from Fox and happy with that. Drove to Mission San Javier on the new road. Well worth the trip.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with young children, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+.

Name your price. That's right. This is my version of Priceline.com. Due to current economic events, I'm trying to accomplish two things. 1.) Get my house rented out, as it is currently sitting vacant. 2.) To make my house affordable to as many people as possible. So, name your price on this beautiful vacation home. Search for comparable vacation rentals and compare. Then make your offer. (Serious offers only). Additional key deposit and cleaning fee still apply.
