We looked extensively at properties here and have been extremely pleased with this unit. It is nicely remodeled, has lots of niceties such as beach towels, floats, beach chairs, small cooler, etc. For a warm climate, we particularly appreciated the ice maker which never ran out, and the breeze going thru the unit so it was never too warm. The neighbors were welcoming and charming and showed us places to see the turtles, go snorkeling, where to eat, and we watched the sunset every day with what seemed to be everyone staying there. We recommend renting snorkel gear for the week, and exploring all the beaches. There are so many great ones for snorkeling and swimming. Not listed in the guidebooks is the boardwalk along the hotel district which is almost five miles each way and is a great workout. Be SURE to go to Costco for all your groceries, since the groceries on this side of the island are very expensive. Gas at Costco is 41 cents cheaper than the rest of the island. Pineapples were only $2.99 at Costco compared to $5 plus in the other stores. Don't miss the fruit stand in the upcountry which had wonderful strawberries for only $3 a box...and if you see a little stand with proteas at someone's house, stop and buy some. I got beautiful proteas for 25 cents each compared to $10 plus for a bunch elsewhere. We are definitely coming back here. Wonderful place, laid back compared to the hotel row which is good, and very nicely maintained.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children.

I want to personally thank the owners of this condo. This condo in Maui is really a great place to stay. The condo was clean and the location was close to the shopping area for groceries and other supplies. We cooked steaks and chicken on the grills overlooking the ocean. What a view of the 2 islands off the coastline. My son and I had a chance to go snorkeling off the beach and the turtles and all the colorful fish were a treat. The photos of this condo are very accurate of the location. Its exactly like the pictures show. We can't wait to come back!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children.

We stayed a week here and the condo was very nice and clean when we arrived. The grounds are kept spotless and I liked that the whole area is non-smoking. Every morning having our coffee with all those Turtles was just the best. I think one morning we counted 15-20 just great and then they returned for happy hour. The location is good near Farmers market and all beaches, we will be back for sure . I do recommend this condo it is great for couples.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

My husband and I stayed in this beautiful, well appointed condo for a week. It is centrally located and steps from beautiful beaches and an observation deck where turtles swarm for a morning feeding. My husband and I will definately return to this lovely condo, next time we plan to bring our son and my mother to enjoy the experience! The only thing negative that I can say is that for a weeks stay there wasn't enough toilet paper or towels. So stop at safeway on your way in and grab some tp and quarters to wash some towels if you are planning to stay more than a few weeks. Also, a very special thank you to Jennifer for booking us and taking such good care of us in that process and to Michelle the caretaker for the condo, she let us check in early and check out late as we were on a red eye in and out. Very wonderful peopele that made the experience that much better!!!! mahalo! Our expectations were GREATLY exceeded with this wonderful condo! Beautiful view, comfortable bed (even the sleeper sofa was comfortable for the teen!) They had everything provided that we needed... beach umbrella, beach mats, sand toys, cooler, beach towels, etc., etc., etc.! The condo is in a great location, remote enough to get away from all the tourists if you wanted but close to the action if that is what you prefer! The private beach is amazing and nearly completely deserted most of the time (which we LOVE!) The big, flashy beaches are nearby. You can walk to the big beach just south of the condo, if you so desire. The farmer's market is awesome and right down the road-go there early in your stay to check out the schedule, it is not always open! When we flew in, we stopped at Wal-Mart to get some supplies for our stay, including condements, etc. NO NEED! I wish we would have checked the condo first, because almost everything you need is already there! We added several things for the next guests. :) I wish I could give this place 10 stars! Very professional owner, everything was just as she stated. We got the meet "The Captain" that lives there full-time... He is a hoot! The laundry facilities are top-notch and very reasonable. We used the clothes line - nothing like the smell of ocean-breeze dried clothes! Old Lahaina Luau was definitely worth the $. Deep-sea fishing WAS NOT. :( Talk to the locals about fishing before you book. The road to Hana was great, we actually camped 1 nite at the State park near Hana so we would have more time (black sand beach, blow hole, arches, caves w/fresh water pools, AWESOME.) Leaving Hana, if you have time! go the back way and STOP at the Natl Park and walk the 2 miles to the waterfall! It is worth the trip, goes thru a bamboo forest, fresh-water pools to swim in. A little further is Charles Lindburgh's grave site at an off the path little church. CRAZY roads you have to see to believe, DON'T need 4x4! Then there is a winery (closes at 5PM) and there is always the crater. We missed the winery & crater because we swam and then walked to the waterfall. VERY beautiful and amazing. By Kehei is Big Beach, we really liked it (you can get to Little Beach by climbing a little bit, but beware, clothing optional! But, it is one of the pretties beaches we saw!) You will not be disappointed with this condo, it really is an amazing place! We had a blast... Mahalo!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, people with disabilities, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

We have just returned from a fabulous 2 week stay in Maui. The first week was for some alone time before we joined a big group in a five-star hotel in the southern part of the island. We chose this condo because of price, and what a series of very pleasant surprises! First, Jennifer was great to deal with. We were able to pay for the condo with PayPal, which is always comforting when sending money to someone you don't know in a different country (we are Canadian). Second, the "joining instructions" were so expilict, we had absolutely no problem finding the condo and letting ourselves in. The third surprise was the condo itself. It was clean, orderly and Jennifer had thought of everything we might need. It was fun exploring the cupboards to find the abundance of extras that you don't normally find in a rental, such as scissors. After stocking some groceries and adult beverages, we were ready to enjoy an amazing week. I would come to appreciate later the free parking and high-speed wifi, when I had to start paying for it at the hotel. As a golfer, I loved the fact that the condo is equidistant (at about 5 miles) from the Kapalua and Kaanapali pro shops. As a shopper, my wife loved the proximity of Lahaina. As avid snorkellers, we both loved the sea turtles who came to dine on the rocks and coral within steps of oiur private beach. On my first day, some of the other residents called out, "Let's go snorkelling", and although I was comfortably sitting on the patio enjoying the view, I got my mask, snorkel and fins. While putting my fins on at the beach, I saw, about 5 feet from me, a large turtle head stick out of the water. I put my face in the water and saw the biggest sea turtle I had ever seen. I wasn't even swimming yet and I was in contact with these fascinating creatures. I ended up snorkelling every day at about 4:00 pm and not once was I disappointed. One day I saw 7 turtles within 20 feet of me. Visibility was marvelous. Bring a waterproof camera! After a week of relaxing in this hidden gem of a retreat, we moved down the coast to a posh, luxurious suite at an amazing hotel. It was wonderful, but I would have traded it in a heart beat for another week in this condo. This was our fifth trip to Maui, and we almost didn't go because of "been there, done that" Am I ever glad we went. We're already planning a return trip. Hope you enjoy this condo - just please don't take the same week we want to return.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children.

This condo was a dream come true. Clean, with furnishings in excellent condition, and just steps away from the ocean. We were able to see the sunset everynight from our patio. This condo had everything you needed to feel at home. We were able to cook and enjoy many meals because of the fully stocked kitchenware as weel as bbqs out on the "observation deck". There was no airconditioning, but it was never needed even in 85+degree weather. It always stayed nice and cool inside. The location was great, about 5 to 10 minutes from the center of Lahaina and 5 to 10 minutes from some of the best beaches including DT Fleming and Kapalua Bay. We will definitely stay here again!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, girls getaway.
