Great stay, the house is very clean and comfortable. We are a return renter and will probably be back again. Only complaint was the house was uncomfortably hot this year-Colorado was having a heat wave. Suggest some portable cooling system or at the least fans.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children.

We were visiting Gunnison so my son could look at Western State. We were all surprised by the spaciousness of the home. It was perfect for out family of 4 (myself, my husband and two teenagers). The seperate master suite was nice. Thank you for the use of the bikes. Many rides to the nearby park to practice football and basketball and up to the college to look around were enjoyed. Glad we rented your home instead of hotel rooms. Oh and Garlic Mike's is a wonderful place to eat just on the edge of town.Recommended for: Families with teenagers.

The home is simple and comfortable and has everything you need to cook some nice meals and relax after days out hiking, viewing waterfalls in Crested Butte and Gothic, or taking the boat ride at the Black Canyon Morrow Point Reservoir. The rental home is nice and clean. The kitchen is well equipped with everything we needed for cooking meals. The HD TV and DVD player worked great and the selection of movies to watch was perfect. Everything worked well and was very clean. It's not a luxury home, but it's a simple, clean, well maintained home in an excellent location. The Rec Center is a quick walk and the college is just down the street a bit farther. The owners were excellent in arranging our stay and answering any questions we had.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.
Owner response: Thank you Barbara for taking the time to provide us feedback because it’s our goal to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Thanks again for choosing our house for your visit to Gunnison.

We really enjoyed our stay in your home and got a lot of bonding time as a family. We were able to go skiing at Monarch and also snowmobiling in Crested Butte through an awesome and affordable company called Timber Sleds (Greg). We only got a chance to eat at 2 of the restaurants that were recommended to us (The Gunnisack and Mario's) and they were great suggestions. The snow was great and the atmosphere was great even for Spring Break. We will definitely be coming back to your place next time we are up in your area.Did you find this review helpful?
