Though the drive to this stunning mountain house is not far from Denver, it left me feeling miles from the daily grind. Upon my arrival, the location of this house was the first thing to impress me. I found myself just footsteps from the Keystone Ranch Golf Course. I could have enjoyed my entire weekend just lounging on the porch or in the hot-tub watching golfers pass by. Of course, once I saw all that the interior of the house had to offer, I had trouble deciding where to spend my time.
The kitchen was generously appointed with all I needed to prepare a gourmet meal for my family and friends and the large dining area allowed ample seating for everyone. Heading to the basement, I found a large screen HD TV, arcade style video games, a pool table, and a foosball table – just my kind of fun. Because of the oversized bar and full kitchen, I was able to prepare and serve great party food to my guests. Just outside I found the 8 bear hot tub. We enjoyed our nights just sitting in the warm water and watching the stars appear overhead, while sipping our favorite drinks.
When our days were finished, my guests and I were pleased to settle into the well thought out sleeping accommodations. All of the bedrooms were supplied with fine linens and bedding. And with the addition of TVs, alarm clocks, space heaters and humidifiers, we felt as if every need had been thought of. The owners were also happy to supply us with a high chair and crib for my cubs.
We chose to spend some of our time biking the wonderful trails surrounding the area, and the pool was a hit with everyone. During the summer, the lakes, hiking trails, and abundance of outdoor activities will keep any age and any level of thrill seeker busy. Even the shoppers will find plenty of activity at the new and ever growing selection of stores and shops in the area. Given all this home has to offer, it would be the perfect spot to host a wedding party, family reunion, or even a romantic couples weekend. Anyone using this home for their event will not be disappointed, I know I wasn’t.

We stayed at this incredible house for a family reunion. Everyone slept comfortably, and the house met every single one of our needs. It's well-appointed, well stocked with everything you would need to cook and entertain. The lower level is perfect for kids of all ages. Beds were extremely comfortable, location was stunning, and we all had a blast! There is plenty of space for togetherness, yet the bedrooms were huge and a great respite from the crowd. I would most highly recommend it!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car.
Owner response: It was an honor having your family stay with us for Jerry's birthday weekend! Carol

We have been going to the same house for the past 3 years for a great skiing vacation. We absolutely love the place. My special places in the house are the deck (sometimes even with snow) and the game room below, my wife rather spends her time chatting in the kitchen area. We discovered new activities in the area just this past year and liked the whole idea even better. The view is perfect if you like the quiet, so quiet indeed that we got to see some Coyotes last time, that was great. The jacuzzi after a tough day on the slopes makes for a great treat, I use it a lot with kids and wife, perfect way to wind down. The house has everything you need to have a great, fun and amazing vacation!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

We rented this house because our daughter was getting married at Keystone Ranch over Labor Day weekend. What a great space for our families. Planning a long distance wedding can be stressful, but knowing we had the housing arranged was a great relief. It was easy to get to the ranch and we had plenty of room to spread around within the house. Everything was as advertised or even better. We rented both of the houses owned by Carol for the weekend. They were very helpful with all our requests and made sure to make us feel welcome. I would definitely stay here again.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers.
Owner response: Thanks Sheila! We loved having you and your family ~ I'm so glad that you made us part of your wedding weekend! Carol

This is the third time we have returned to this beautiful property. It is the perfect setting for us because it is spacious, quiet and only about 5 minutes from the ski school area. We go there with kids and other families and there is more than enough room for everyone. The house is so big that even with three families with our respective kids, we each had our own space and privacy. The kitchen is fully stocked and has everything we have needed during our stays. The game room downstairs is great and keeps the kids entertained in the afternoon. One of our favorite things to do there is to fire up the grill on the beautiful terrace and enjoy the jacuzzi while watching out into the mountains and listening to the coyotes howl. We are looking forward to returning again next year... :-)Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers.
Owner response: Thank you, Gerardo! Your family has become our family. We are also looking forward to your return next year! Carol

My family has rented this home several times, and we are due back the latter part of July. The home and its furnishings are beautiful. It's well equiped with anything one would need. We greatly appreciate working with Carol and Amy. They are wonderful people who will do anything they possibly can to accomodate their guests. The situation being as it is, why wouldn't we be anxious to return annually?Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, age 55+, families with young children, tourists without a car, adventure seekers.
