  Oh my! We have just spent several wonderful days visiting Spain, using this beautiful little apartment as our "home base". It is perfectly suited to our needs. Easy access to the metro? - a station is located less than five minutes from the apartment. Easy access to the bus line? - a bus stop is right outside the front door. Easy access to the center of Madrid? - just a few short minutes away! Staying in contact with family and friends back home? - the "wifi" connection is fast and reliable. This apartment was immaculate - so very clean and fresh - all the comforts of home. The garden is impeccable (Have an afternoon swim in the private pool if you like!). The apartment is situated across the street from a beautiful park, adding to the high quality of the neighborhood. Within walking distance In every direction are wonderful restaurants to enjoy and shops to browse. We have made plans to re-visit Spain later this year, and we will soon make arrangements with the owner (a most helpful man indeed!) to stay again in this wonderful place. Simply said: This apartment is a treasure!

  We booked this apartment the day of our arrival at the last minute. The owner was very accomodating and met us at the apartment to show us around. The apartment was very clean and overlooked a park. With two young children, the proximity to the Metro and a grocery store was key for us. Opencor is the supermarket two blocks away. Valeriano was very accomodating and helped us plan our weekend visit. Overall, it was a great stay. I would definitely stay here again if we get the chance to return to Madrid.

  We are a 55+ couple who rented a car for a month-long stay in Europe. We rented this apartment because it had a parking space in a covered garage included. We had no idea it would be such a delightful "home" for our week in Madrid. The pictures and description accurately reflect the property's appearance. The view over the park and the city was lovely. The elevator in the building worked well. The apartment itself was very clean and nicely decorated with an updated kitchen with all appliances.and updated bathroom. The bed was comfortable. Included were a coffee maker, dishes, pots and pans, silverware, washer, hair dryer, cleaning supplies, towels, travel books. The metro was close for going into the city. Grocery stores were within walking distance. The owner was so gracious, taking us through the apartment, explaining how everythiing worked (and everything DID work!) and providing us with tourist information. The Internet and our phones worked better in this apartment than in any other place we stayed on our trip. We highly recommend this rental property.

  THIS APARTMENT IS FURNISHED WITH EVERYTHING A PERSON COULD WANT. THE OWNERS HAVE GONE TO GREAT LENGTHS TO TAKE CARE OF YOUR EVERY NEED SO THAT YOU WILL NOT HAVE TO GO SHOPPING FOR ANYTHING ONCE YOU ARRIVE AND YOU ARE LEFT ONLY TO ENJOY MADRID WHICH IS ONE OF THE LOVELIEST CITIES IN SPAIN. THE WINDOWS OVERLOOK THE TOPS OF TREES WHICH MEANS YOU ARE NOT LOOKING ACROSS AT ANOTHER APARTMENT BUILDING. IT IS LESS THAN HALF A BLOCK TO THE METRO AND BUSES STOP CLOSE BY. THE CONNECTION FROM THE AIRPORT IS SO EASY AND SMOOTH. THERE IS A GROCERY STORE CLOSE BY AND SOME RESTAURANTS, ETC. AFTER A VERY BAD APT. IN BARCELONA, THIS WAS A PORT IN THE STORM. THE OWNERS ARE LOVELY AND WANT EVERYTHING TO GO SMOOTHLY FOR YOU. THE BED IS COMFORTABLE, THE CLOSET SPACE IS LARGE, THE BATHROOM IS LARGE AND EVERYTHING IS IMMACULATE IN THE WHOLE APT. WE WOULD ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND THIS PROPERTY TO ANYONE WITHOUT RESERVATION. IT IS QUIET BOTH ON THE STREET AND IN THE APARTMENT.

  I spent 6 wks. here recently and cannot recommend the apartment and landlord highly enough. Valeriano was a most gracious host--very helpful and concerned I enjoy the city and his place. The apt. is very conveniently located one block from a Metro station (and this is definitely the way to get everywhere in Madrid--efficient, clean and cheap) and across the street from a lovely park. The building is secure, and the apartment comfortable with all of the amenities as advertised. There are several good restaurants in the neighborhood as well as banks on the block. I went all over Madrid and enjoyed its many theaters, art museums and plazas. It is terrific city to stroll around and has some of the best art museums I've encountered. Indeed, if you are going to be there for any length of time I recommend getting an annual museum ticket--it gives you unlimited visits to the Prado and Sophia Reina museums as well as many other museums in Madrid and nearby cities like Toledo, which along with Segovia, is a short train ride away for a wonderful day trip. It is a good value as is an extended Metro ticket. Again, this is the place to stay in Madrid!!!

  Great place to stay in Madrid. Located close to the Metro so it's easy to get to all the popular areas, lots of restaurants and shopping near by. Especially loved the park across the street. Long walk throught the woods was a lovely way to start and end each day. Apartment is clean and nice. It's a little noisy sometimes but then it's in the city so that's to be expected. Owner was extremely helpful as was the building manager. Totally recommend.

  Comfortable, well appointed apartment. Roughly 20-30minutes by metro to the city center but subway was literally outside the apartment. Plenty of restaurants on the same street. Valerio was very friendly and met us with lots of great information, maps and a subway guide, there were also some drinks in the fridge and guide books on the shelf to make planning our time easy. There was some traffic noise which didn't bother us as we live in a city apartment. Heating and cooling and my wife says the best hairdryer she's ever used!

  Clean and airy apartment on a quiet neighborhood street with many local eateries in a few blocks. The kitchen is well supplied. The living area allows for relaxation and a great view from the picture window. The subway is less than a block. Working with the owner was friendly and easy. A great place to stay while in Madrid.

  We enjoyed a week in this well outfitted and immaculate apartment on a very busy, noisy street. Apartment's double-paned windows blocked the noise as long as we ran the A/C all night. Owner was very gracious and provided lots of tourist info. Good neighborhood with lots of shops & restaurants, but far from the City Center for tourist activities, at least 30 minutes by metro.

  Apt very clean. Nice pool in the back. Located across a nice park. Metro station very close. Host waited for us at 3:00 am to give us the key. Only issue is street noise: all the European apts facing the street are noisy. The bedroom had double windows to dampen the noise, but one can still hear it.
