Nicklaus North house description
This is a very high end luxury home built from natural tumbled basalt stone and 30 old growth yellow cedar logs from the Queen Charlottes. Stone radiant heated floors throughout this house with secondary gas heating and AC in summer, & wood carpeted bedrooms (3)with in floor heat everywhere up and downstairs in all bedrooms, two full laundry facitilies up and downstairs, with auxillary gas furnace system, five (5) fireplaces and Five (5) bedrooms and four (4) bath house. We use a bedroom as a study and will convert it to a fifth bedroom as needed. Study has wireless and there is wireless throughout the house. Full electronic and media systems up and downstairs...each state of the art. There are three large decks on second floor with panoramic lake and mountain views of Whistler, Blackcomb, Wedge, Armchair, Mt. Curry and Green Lake. Best views in Whistler...plus sun all day and on the lower stone patio main level deck a covered hot tub where you can lay back and take in the views!
Walk out your home to cross country ski in the winter, ski in and out, or mountain bike or play golf at Nicklaus North in the summer. You are right next to the valley trail for biking, roller blading or whatever...The house comes with our privately owned parking spot at the base of Blackcomb for down hill skiing in an assigned spot at the Glacier Lodge.
No amenity or luxury has been spared. There is a bar, fridge, freezer and dishwasher downstairs in the pool table/games room and two entertainment centers...one is upstairs and one downstairs next to the pool table room. We have a three car heated garage and place to hang your skis and warm your boots on the boot rack.
There is plenty of space for lounging around, barbecuing outside under cover at any time of year on the gas grill and five (5) russian tall stone fireplaces throughout this house.

Year Purchased: 2008
About the owner: This was a three year build project. Everything is top end including the location. It may be available to rent for the month or weely or we will consider a biweekly rental. Otherwise, rentals may be available for select windows of time throughout the year. This is our vacation home and is not a rental. We are only interested in considering renting it for a large block of time. It's a special place to us.

This home has 360 degree views of Whistler, Blackcomb, Green Lake and the remaining mountains in the valley. It has sun all day and in the winter time you can cross country ski out your door around the golf course or up to Lost Lake, and in the summer time you have mountain biking and golf all around you as the home is located in Nicklaus North. Walk to restaurant in the Club House open to public and/or fly in on sea plane and walk to your house.
