My wife and I celebrated our 3rd wedding anniversary. We didn't know what we had in store at Whidbey Island. Perfect setting to rest. We never turned on the tv and we didn't even use the internet! Langley is a great small town to explore and taste. The market in town has quality, fresh food to cook up in the kitchen at Bells Beach, or there are a few diners to try out. We also visited Freeman nearby. We didn't explore there too much, but we did enjoy a wine tasting at Blooms. They gave us some great travel advice for the remainder of our trip. And their wine was tasty as well. In regards to Bells Beach, the location was great. There was plenty of peace and quiet. We enjoyed the fireplace outside and reclining on the chairs listening to the water and whales visited us one night and said hello. That was pretty awesome! The property was very clean and well maintained. We had to buy more wood, but we like fireplaces. So we stayed out there a long time! If we make it out to the Seattle area, we will stay at Whidbey Island much longer. This was a great place to rest.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, romantic getaway.

For the last 15 years we have spent every New Year's Eve on South Whidbey, where my life began and where I spent my first 18 years. Most experiences have be fine, but never quite what I was looking for--until this New Year's. The cabin maintains the footprint of the great but humble beach cabins that rimmed the island in my childhood, yet has been refurbished (or rebuilt, I don't know which) so it is very clean and attractive. It's a beach cabin, simple accommodations, a great lanai for wave and wildlife watching, fire pit for s'mores and storytelling, and a cozy place to cuddle up with your loved ones. For me, this is "IT", the place I've been looking for! We hope to celebrate many New Year's here and enjoy it at other times of the year as well. Thanks for keeping it as a simple, but perfect, beach cabin. We are so glad to have found it.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, romantic getaway.

This was our second visit to this wonderful cabin. We like it so much that we almost want to tell everyone to stay away from it so that it is always available for us. What's not to like? Romantic view, warm, cozy cabin, great little town, fire outside. Since we had seen the island and Langley last time, this time we just hung out at the cabin almost the entire time. Can't recommend this place enough. I wish the owner would put it up for sale and we could afford to buy it, I'd buy it up in a second if I had the cash and it was available.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway.

Very quiet, comfortable, and relaxing for the two of us. Amenities well supplied by owners who were very helpful during our stay. We were not there for the crabbing season, but watching seabirds hunting for them, and watching the tides ebb and flow by the fire pit was a perfect way to spend mornings with a hot cup of coffee!Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, romantic getaway.

My husband and I stayed here for the second time in the last couple of years over labor day weekend, this time just following our wedding on Whidbey. The house is still very comfortable and inviting, has everything that you might need, and is clearly well-maintained and cared-for by the owners. We will definitely be back yet again!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway.

This property is excellent. Inside looks like updated in last year. Pictures do not do the property justice. The inside is just like I would want it. Kitchen is completely stocked with all utensils you need to cook ANY meal you want. Bathroom is 1 step up in to, and is like new. Very spacious bathroom that anyone would have room in. Comfortable queen bed and with widows open you can hear the waves. Outside covered patio is great with fireplace, gas BBQ, and picnic table with plenty of seating wherever you want. TOTAL RELAXATION WHERE YOU JUST DON'T WANT TO LEAVE.Recommended for: People with disabilities, age 55+, romantic getaway.

An adorable little cottage right on the beach....clean, comfy and fully equipped. The large outdoor lanai was a treat...with a fireplace and Adirondack chairs and picnic table. There is another fire pit at the waters edge, with plenty of firewood provided. Stairs (about 10) leading to the beach provided easy access. Only a 10 min drive to Langley - and a few farmers markets. It was the perfect environment for a restful holiday. We would like to return soon!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

Owner info
Year Purchased: 2007
About the owner: We found this little beach house to be the perfect place to visit for a respite from the city life. So... we bought it! We hope you enjoy the Island too!
Why the Owner Chose Langley:
Bells Beach is probably one of the best little neighborhoods on the Island. It's private, quiet, and full of abundant wildlife. It's close to Langley, and the activities on the Island. Once across the water on the Mukilteo-Clinton ferry... the stress melts away.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
This house is right on the water. You have 60' of level bulkhead beachfront property with unobstructed views! Wake up in your bedroom, open the blinds, crawl back in bed and watch the sunrise over Camano Island across the sound. At night, watch the city lights across the passage twinkle before you go to sleep. The outdoor lanai/cooking/entertaining area is covered from the elements, and doubles the living area.
