  This is the third time we've rented this property, which reflects how much we've enjoyed it. The owners are very easy to work with and the house and grounds are wonderful!

  Our family had a great time at your lake house. It was well stocked and had everything we could possibly want or need. We brought our pontoon and your boat dock was very handy. We enjoyed your outside gas fire pit very much. Although the weather was rainy and wasn't very cooperative, our family had a great time being together at your house. Your home has a very cozy feel to it but yet we had plenty of room. We will definately consider renting your home again in the future. Thanks!

  Just had a great stay with 3 adults, 2 kids and a dog. The house was everything we expected. It was clean, comfortable, well stocked, and had plenty of room. LIke other have said, the kitchen had everything we needed. Many little touches added to the character of "the perfect lake house". We used the dock every day for boating and fishing. We rented pontoon boats with inner tubes from Lake Barkley Marina, and we rented jet skis from Rockcastle Jet ski. Both were very convenient. We also got in a day of hiking in the closeby Land Between the Lakes The deck was well-shaded, which made a big diference in the heat. We also used the hot tub (with temp turned down) and the grill on several occasions Did not use the firepit due to the heat. We definitely would come back again.

  The house was perfect and in a great location for peace and quiet. Very comfortable even on the hot days of summer. The kitchen was very well stocked with so much. Would love to come back sometime.

  Loved this house. It had everything you can imagine in the kitchen. It was fully stocked with kitchen utensils, pots, pans, bowls, etc. We were with 8 people and there was no shortage of plates, silverware, etc. The dock was perfect for our needs because we brought our own boat down and it worked out great. We fished off the dock and the "lilttle kids" swam. The sunsets were beautiful. We used the hot tub once and the fire pit once. We would have used it more if the nights were cooler. Overall, it was a great place to stay and would definitely recommend it to anyone.

  We could not have been happier with our stay. The home was beautiful and in wonderful condition inside and out. Our party included 5 adults and 2 teenagers and there was more than enough room for all of us. The home is well stocked with everything you could possibly need from the kitchen to linens to dvd movies, cd's, and board games in case of bad weather. The hot tub and fire table on the deck made for perfect evenings. The dock was great for swimming and fishing with minimal boat traffic because of the location in the back part of the cove. The boat launch was only a few minutes away. The rental process was very easy with timely and friendly communication from the owners. We have already told the owners to hold our deposit and need only to pick the dates for our return trip next year. I definitely recomend this home for your stay at Lake Barkley.

  We had a great time at the lake house. The dock is perfect and easy to get to from state dock. We walked in the neighborhood. We cooked in the roomy kitchen and enjoyed the atmosphere of the house. I highly recommend.

  We have stayed lots of places and some have been not so good. I am glad to say that it's obvious the owners have spent some time in this home. Towels are brand new, sheets are wonderfully soft & there's plenty of comfortable seating in the LR & TV room. The kitchen was well-stocked--everything I looked for, I found! The firepit was nice. We did not use the hot tub but it looked wonderful. The boat dock was a perfect spot to sit and watch for herons. The kids loved the play fort. We'll keep this spot in mind for future vacations.   When looking for a home to rent for my families vaction I was having a hard time finding a place not already rented and I ran across the Hamiltons home and decied it would work. I saw the pictures of the home on the site and it seemed nice but the pictures do not do it justice! It was awsome spacious neat clean and quite.We had 7 of us staying at the home and at no time did we feel crowded.The deck was just awsome the boat dock was wonderfull It was great to have the boat lift to lift my boat when we were not using it and power to charge the battries at the dock. The boat launch is a 5 min ride from the home and it is a nice launch. the home is very close to the marina too in case you need fuel on the water.The fire table and hot tub were great for hanging out on the lighted deck at night as well.The home is also located close to land between the lakes which had a great nature center and the elk and bison praire was neat too.Down town Cadiz was nice they have a bunch of neat antique shops that were fun to go chek out.We had a great time and will proably rent the home again in the future.I would deffinitly recomend vacationing here.
