Twin Cedar Lodge, a $2 million custom-crafted residence, has become the talk of the town. Over two years in construction, this 7000 sq. ft. residence features an additional 2500 sq. ft. of covered decks and has every amenity and luxury conceivable.
The view from the living room is framed by the Lodge's namesake, a twenty-four-foot-tall cedar mounted within the windows featuring a panoramic view of the Great Smoky Mountains. The hand-crafted staircase featuring cedar trunks and limbs is breathtaking, a one-of-a-kind architectural achievement. The residence incorporates antique décor, a locally crafted dining room table with seating for 22 and over 50 antique European stained-glass windows.
The floors are finished entirely in quality hardwood and tile. The walls are beautiful tongue-and-groove pine. The furnishings are luxurious, finished in leather and other high-quality fabrics. All living areas are spacious and comfortable, without resorting to less-than-ideal furnishings.
The Lodge sleeps 22 people, with additional sleeping space for 2 on a sleeper sofa. There are no bunk beds or otherwise 'cramped' sleeping arrangements. Each bedroom of the 11 bedrooms have a private, fully equipped bath and a king bed. Every bedroom has access to the four floors of decks. Seven of the bedrooms are accessible to handicapped persons, either on the main level or by elevator. There is also a half bath available.
The Lodge's amenities include an authentic tournament-quality slate pool table, perfectly leveled. The large swim spa has been a family favorite and the spa room includes a separate sauna. The media room features Bose surround sound and a 70 inch video/television screen.
Twin Cedar Lodge is conveniently located off the Spur connecting Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, less than a ten minute drive from both cities. In addition to the great views, amenities and luxurious accommodations, guests have access to the Chalet Village Owners Clubs, offering swimming pools and tennis courts, all within one quarter mile of the lodge.
On a personal note, in the time our family lived in this residence, we were continually amazed that so many people pulled off the road to take pictures of this house. We would have a hard time counting the number of tours we have given visitors struck by the homes unique façade.
We have out-of-state friends who heard about the house from others who had visited Gatlinburg. My family and I are happy to offer to visitors to our beautiful East Tennessee what we believe is the most unique vacation rental available in the Great Smoky Mountains.

The saying, can't get enough of a good thing. If my husband and I could afford too, we would certainly live here. Although the home is HUGE, it has a warmth and cozy feel. Until you get into the kitchen and dining areas!!!! WOW!!! My whole family loved it. I hope this helps others to enjoy it also.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, people with disabilities, sightseeing, families with young children, pet owners, adventure seekers.

We had friends from Charlotte and my Mom (She is 98 with a walker)and friends from Nashville come stay with my wife and I for another retreat. This is our third trip to Gatlinburg area. We found this home VERY... Upscale! So, I took a moment to say, if your looking for a home for friends and family, or for "busines friends" and everyone wanted to do something different. I found we could all find something to entertain us. Worth the $$ to usRecommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, people with disabilities, sightseeing, pet owners, adventure seekers.

I enjoyed this week immensely. My family and I are from Chattanooga and sometimes 5 of us get together, and sometime 15 of us do. This week was a blessing. This home was a perfect place for us to gather, cook and ALL eat at the same table, 20 of us graced the dining table together. The temperature was perfect, first it was 50s and then it snowed later in the week. I think I speak for us all that this place made our trip magical. Its is a must return to home for all of us now. ThanksRecommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, people with disabilities, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway.

My husband and all the kids (and the grandkids) were looking for a place we could all meet in a central location. Gatlinburg proved perfect. Next was finding a place for us all to stay that was affordable. That was difficult, until we landed on this website and FOUND this home. We loved this home so much we will be coming again in 2 weeks. I was reading reviews and thought why not write one myself. I LOVED the elevator, dont get around well. Looking forward to all of us being together again, all in the same beautiful home.Recommended for: Age 55+, people with disabilities, sightseeing, families with young children, adventure seekers.

Stayed here with several of my friends. This house is all it says and more! The views are captivating from the back porch and the house is clean, comfortable and very easy to maneuver around. Have stayed at other homes in the Gatlinburg area, but none of them compare to this one. Would definitely stay here again!Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway, sightseeing, romantic getaway.

We rented this lodge for 11 couples. What made it so perfect is, there were 11 bedrooms, each with a king bed, private bath & TV, so there was no squabbling over who got the best room. They were all the same and very comfortable. We were able to seat all 22 of us at the table for meals which was a first for our large crowd. The amenities were fantastic. We all loved it and did not want to leave. All my friends thought I was so smart for finding the perfect accommodations. The views were spectacular, the pool, hot tub, sauna, media room and game room were an added bonus to such a lovely lodge. We will definitely be back. We loved our stay !!!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, people with disabilities, sightseeing, families with young children, pet owners, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

If you are thinking about a memorable family reunion or large group get together, this is the cabin to consider. Beautifully maintained and managed. The listing and photos are accurate in its description of the accomodations. The kitchen is well outfitted for cooking and the appliances are in good working order. The owner was very helpful and responsive to our requests for assistance during the stay. The cabin is centrally located between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge both with many family-friendly activites and restaurants. There is no better recommendation than to say that we are "hooked" and use this cabin for our family Christmas every year!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, people with disabilities, families with young children.

My group of friends (21 of them) has been traveling to east Tennessee for approximately 20 years. We decided to make a change two years ago. Upon researching for a larger and newer property, I came across the Cedar Lodge unit. The photos were breathtaking and we quickly learned after our first visit, they accurately reflected the lodge's beauty. This property is very clean, modern, and well maintained as well as being stocked with everything we need to cook meals, including grilling (gas) on the main deck. It has many amenities that we did not have access to in previous years. We just love the ability to gather around one dininig table (seats 24) and have our meals together in one room. The elevator has been quite handy especially when a couple in our group had surgery and could not navigate stairs. Speaking of stairs, the "vine" staircase is definitely a showpiece! We also enjoy having our own private bathrooms with our bedrooms. The owners/staff are extremely polite and attentive to any needs we have prior to arrival and during our stay. We highly recommend this unit and we hope to return to this beautiful lodge every year possible.Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway, people with disabilities, sightseeing.
