Honestly I am super hard to please, super busy body and very detailed oriented when if comes to booking anything. Hence I usually call the owner several times because I have so many questions. Amazingly enough Fernando was SOOOOO helpful. The resort was amazing I went with two girlfriends. Ariving at the hotel at 6 am I thought it would have been a problem but we got right in! Which is amazing after a long flight. The rooms were very spacious and well maintained. The resort itself was very beautiful and now that the renovations at the resort are done I am sure the star level will go up as it is much better than the surfcomber which my guy friends all stayed at. The hotel looks very extravagant and if you are looking to party on Saturdays this year the resort hosts the RX Pool Parties which all people staying at the Shelborne get in for free with no hassle!! super bonus! Great location close to everything, right on the beach , Also a huge plus is Fernando being super accomodating, professional and everything came with reciepts all done very routinely and systematically and with nothing to worry about we got to enjoy our vacation to the fullest. I definitely WILL BE COMING BACK year after year!

Our stay was fantastic, Fernando was very helpful and extremely nice. The only reason I chose a 4 stars was because one of the elevators in the hotel was down and took a very long time to get to our room throughout the weekend and the shower was leaking a little. I would go back in a heart beat, you cannot beat this rate and location in the heart of south beach! Thanks Fernando!

The best stay in South Beach yet. Fernando and Patricia were more than accomidating and were a pleasure to deal with. The units were immaculate, service of Shelbourne top notch - will definitely be booking all future South Beach stays with Fernando only!

I'm a firm believer in booking rooms through private owners because the deals are typically superb in comparison. This was absolutely no exception. The transactions were easy, no deposit required in addition to our overall costs, everything we needed was in the room (including beach chairs, umbrella and boogie boards!) and the view was to DIE for! How amazing to wake up to that view! I was also concerned how accessible the hotel would be since we were booking through a private owner but to my delight there were no interruptions in service. We had full access to the Shelbourne service on the beach and the pool. This vacation was heavenly and a big factor was where we called home for 5 days. Thank you Fernando for being so accommodating and helpful! I'll recommend this company to all of my friends. Cheers!

First and foremost, I have to thank Fernando for being so understanding and accommodating. Not only was he able to provide last minute accommodations but he was able to provide a beautiful unit, in a prime location at a very reasonable price. As an active traveler co-op rentals are a dime-a-dozen but what really stood out with this rental was the costumer service provided by management I had no issues in reaching my representative, all queries were immediately addressed. The unit was extremely clean and kept to current requirements. I will use their services again in the near future and recommend to all who are looking for a great location in SOBE.

Not only we had everything we needed on the appartment, but we also woke up everyday with an amazing Ocean View! The administrator and cleaning responsables were kind and helped us with the organization of our arrival and with everything we needed. The swimming pool and jacuzzi are very nice so we can say that it was a Great experience to recomend! =)

This part of South Beach has so much to do especially being close to almost everything. Not at all our first trip to Sobe but definitely one of the memorable ones due to the condo we stayed at. We went for Art Basel 2011, considering the windy weather for Miami that week (unusual), we had a fabulous time. The property was clean, well-maintained and comfortable. The property owner/ manager of the condo was so accommodating and kind. Very responsive to questions we had. We really can't find a negative comment for the place worth commenting about. I will recommend this to others. Definitely.

We had a lovely time in the Shelborne and stayed in a condo unit run by this management company in August, 2011. The location and price are right. However, I was extremely disappointed the pool was closed for renovations and neither this page, nor the official Shelborne site indicated it. If you want to stay here, and want the pool, make sure it is reopened and ready.

We enjoyed staying at the Shelborne as we have many times in the past and noticed first-hand the major property renovation taking place. Can't wait to see the completed project next Winter. Accommodations were great and easy walking distance to stores, restaurants, Lincoln Road Mall (Stores & Restaurants) and the famous Ocean Drive area.

We stayed in the studio unit in early March of this year. The room was clean, comfortable and had all the things we needed for a comfy stay for three nights. The pictures are accurate and the view of the ocean is beautiful. Fernando was extremely helpful and efficient. The new double beds were very comfortable. The "spring-break crowd" were evident in the middle of the night as they yelled in the hallways until 4:00 in the morning. We would have liked to have had two chairs on the balcony but we made do with what was there. All restuarants and shopping were close by. A City Tour Bus picked us up at the Shelbourne for sight-seeing. We walked everywhere else. The hotel was under construction so there was extra noise during the day but that cannot be helped. Over-all, we were very pleased with this unit. We would recommend it and return again but not during Spring Break! Thanks for everything!

Quiero contarles que le alquilé al Sr. Fernando Ostolaza, la habitación en el hotel Shelborne por 5 dias. Nosotros estuvimos en la habitación que tiene la cama king size. La pasamos muy bien, muy comodos, excelente ubicación en Miami Beach, cerca de todo. La habitación muy cómoda, amplia, con vista al mar. La cama increiblemente cómoda, dormiamos mi esposo, mi nena de 3 años y yo y sobraba lugar. El colchón impecable, comodísimo, al igual que las almohadas. Tiene heladera con freezer, microondas, vajilla, tostadora, plancha, sillas para utilizar en la playa. El Sr. Fernando cumplió con todo lo prometido. Pasamos unos días muy lindos y seguro en nuestro proximo viaje volveremos a alquilar con él. Si están buscando un buen lugar en Miami Beach para pasar sus vacaciones no duden en contactar al Sr Fernando Ostolaza. Gracias!!!

Hi - our stay at the Shelborne Resort was great - perfect for a couple, just step outside and you're in the heart of South Beach - great pool at the Resort, ocean right behind hotel, shops and restaurants. The 1 bedroom studio has a cute balcony with a great view of the ocean. Photo's are accurate. Fernando was very nice and accomadating. Will be back in the future!

I booked this property to attend Art Basel. The service provided by Fernando was excellent and the location was outstanding, just two blocks from the convention center and easy walking distance to very popular South Beach attractions. This is a very nice unit in an older building. We had a room at the Loews for my employees for the same week and that ran us over $2500. Our price for this room was about 1/3 of that. Room is walking distance to all the best spots. If your not super fussy this is exactly the way to do South Beach on a budget. You really can't beat the price or location or view. The room is tastefully done with laminate flooring. Its not huge but is perfect for couples or single travelers. You do not need a car if you are staying in South beach area. The view of the ocean and beach is excellent from the small balcony.

I just recently stayed at this property at the Shelbourne hotel with a my fiance and some friends and LOVED it and the ocean view was AWESOME! We got the queen bed and king bed room and LOVED them both. Of course the king bed room had alot more space but the views were both just BEAUTIFUL! The rooms looked just as it did online and property owner Fernando was great to work with. And because we did not rent a car the location worked out perfect, within walking distance to everything and the cab ride to ocean drive was about $4-$5 dollars. I would definitely recommend this property to any couple or familty going to Miami. While we were in miami we took a bus and boat city tour which was actually nice and went jet skiing which was right on the beach near hotel.

In March, 2010 my husband and I made our first trip to South Beach. Like many trips before, we decided to check VRBO for a place to stay. The room was nice and clean, looked just like the photos and was all we had hoped for. The room had a wonderful view of the beach and ocean, was walking distance to Lincoln Road , and was in a private location in the Shelborne. It was an outstanding value. We enjoyed ourselves so much we are planning another trip in October and planning to use the same owner who made the transaction a pleasant one.

This was our first trip to Miami since 1994 and we were very pleased. The unit was perfect for our visit with a great view the of the ocean and in a nice hotel. The location is perfect, within walking distance to most of South Beach. Easy walk to dining and shopping on Lincoln Ave. We would recommend the Kabob restaurant less then a block to the north. Enjoy your visit.
