Greetings from beautiful Crested Butte, Colorado! I enjoyed a lovely stay at the impressive Ravenwood Inn, a 3 bedroom, 3.5 bath townhouse nestled just minutes away from the heart of charming historic downtown Crested Butte. Otherwise known as the capital wildflower of Colorado, a visit in the summer to this captivating part of the country was nothing short of amazing; this bear has never seen so many wildflowers! If you’re looking for adventure, this town has it all: hiking, biking, horseback riding, skiing, snowboarding, fishing, children’s activities, pottery painting, rafting, kayaking, golf, unique shops, impressive galleries, wildlife and incredible beauty, to name just a few. A Bear couldn’t ask for a more charming location for a getaway!

The owners of Ravenwood House, Tom and Bridget, helped to make my visit absolutely delightful. They were so helpful prior to my stay and during my vacation. Upon my arrival, I found the house to be perfectly cleaned and fully stocked with everything I needed to feel “beary” at home. Everything was provided for cooking some of my meals in the gourmet kitchen. The sleeping arrangements were perfect with the master bedroom on its own level and the two additional bedrooms on the lowest level. This bear felt very spoiled by the master bathroom with my choice between a soak in the large jetted tub or enjoying the therapeutic effect of the steam shower; just imagine this kind of treatment after a long day on the slopes!! Ahhhh… heaven!

Whether you’re visiting in the winter, summer, spring or fall, this property is sure to knock your bear socks off!

  Really enjoyed our stay at ravenwood. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen has nice appliances and cooking utensils, and plenty of items to make you feel at home.

  Our family, including children and grandchildren, got together for a week of skiing and quality time this year and had a wonderful stay. The accomodations were superb, the view was spectacular and it seemed everything about our visit was just great. I would recommend this property to anyone needing this kind of space and staying in beautiful Crested Butte.

  My family had an absolutely PERFECT Thanksgiving at Ravenwood House. This was our first experience at a VRBO stay and we couldn't have been more pleased. This house is absolute "truth in advertising" and more. The house was immaculately CLEAN. While the house contains all the modern technology it maintains cozy comfort and a spacious smart floorplan. We were 6 adults and a small dog and everyone had more than enough space. And we actually took with us much more than we needed because everything was so well stocked. I can't think of one thing we needed that wasn't there. Extremely convenient to the slopes and the shuttles but still very quiet and peaceful. Bridget and Tom are very accomodating and extremely easy to work with. It was obvious they cared about our comfort and we are very appreciative of them sharing not just a house but a HOME. I highly recommend this property and can't wait to return!

  From the day the reservation inquiry was made, Tom & Bridget set themselves apart from a plethora of other vaction rental hosts. The property was in impeccable condition. The home was thoroughly stocked and included items rarely found in the majority of vacation rentals. The views from the home were simply breathtaking, making the location one of the best options in Mt. Crested Butte. Even during our stay, Bridget provided information on events that were going on in the area (such fun!!), called to ensure everthing met our expectations and to see if we had any questions or issues. I would recommend this property to anyone. The photos just don't do the place justice. With all the conveniences it was like home-away-from-home, albeit with much better views! Having visited in the summer, skiing was not an option, but there is still plenty to do with shopping in the quaint village of Crested Butte (along with some great restaurants such as Soupcon--exceptional fine dining, and Maxwell's fabulous Wagyu burger), mountain biking (rentals everywhere), hiking, even a grand old movie theater. We've visited Crested Butte on a number of occasions, but I must say, staying at Ravenwood house was an experience I look forward to repeating. Thank you, Tom and Bridget, for a most pleasant stay!

  We stayed in this house for a long weekend and were very happy with our choice. Tom and Bridget were incredibly easy to work with from start to finish. We loved the location of the home, walking distance to basically everywhere, and great views from each window. The home had everything we needed to handle two families - we had plenty of space with 4 adults and 4 kids. Everyone had enough privacy but we were able to convene in the family room/dining room/kitchen open area and enjoy the company and views. My sister was already asking about when she could come back with some friends! My number one rave is the level of communication Tom and Bridget provided throughout the rental process. They were quick with emails, answering questions, made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed, especially after an interesting question from us our first night. This was the easiest VRBO transaction I have ever had and definitely a place I would return! Thanks so much!!

  I already knew that Crested Butte was a great little mountain town, but we didn't expect to find such fabulous flowers so late in the season (mid-August). We also didn't realize that the area is so rich in mountain bike rides, so there was something for everybody in our party. Ravenwood House was the perfect place to anchor our adventures. It was spotless and well equipped. We could spread out all our gear in the garage and still have room to park our SUV. We enjoyed the views at sunrise, sunset, and in the rain. During the main daylight hours, we were off playing! Tom and Bridget were easy to work with and went out of their way to accommodate our schedule. We appreciated their checking in with us while we were there. Hope we can return to Crested Butte and stay at Ravenwood again. It was a great summer vacation spot!

  We had the most wonderful time staying for 2 weeks in the Ravenwood townhome. The place is even better equipped and nicely appointed than described in the materials. The owners were most helpful and responsive throughout the process and even checked on us the first day of our stay. We needed nothing - the place and location were perfect. We were able to walk or drive the short distance to town and all summer activities were also easily reached...and we still enjoyed privacy. We have vacationed for years in Aspen but are now huge fans of Crested Butte. Ravenwood made our introduction to the area particularly satisfying. We plan to be back soon.

  Last weekend my husband and I spent the weekend with three other friends in Crested Butte. The Ravenwood house was a great VRBO find! The kitchen was great and stocked with every pot, pan or type of glassware you could want. The bedrooms all had their own balconies, bathrooms, and it was really just perfect! There were so many little amenities that were just so nice to have on hand that I did not anticipate (iPod docking station, for instance). If you want to stay in a great place, owned by really great people to work with, I would highly recommend this house!

  This is a beautiful mountain property, great kitchen and dining area, great room. Mountain views from every window. Convenient to lifts by walking to end of driveway and getting shuttle bus to base area or walk to West wall lift. Awesome 2 car heated garage. Great outside deck with awesome views. Each room has own bath. The owners were very easy to work with and most helpful. We would definitely stay there again. this is a great ski area, mountain biking, wild flowers, hiking, fishing, outdoor wonderland. Favorite restaurant, Garlic Mike's in Gunnison !!!

  What a spectacular home. All the amenities you can imagine in spotless condition. Beautifully furnished with warm cozy bedding. The owners were wonderful and very helpful both before and during our stay. The kitchen is well stocked to prepare any gourmet meal. Transportation to the village is right outside your door..... the mountain is just across the street. Wonderful dining opportunities. Our family of 8 felt so comfortable in this lovely home. Each bedroom has a private bathroom with many extras... a fireplace in the large master bedroom, walk in steam shower and whirlpool tub. I was so in love with this home, I booked it a year in advance. It was a Christmas we will never forget !!!!
