The Maui Sunset itself as a condo is a great place to stay.It was close to stores restaurants and some great beaches.It has a really great pool area and bbq pads.As for this condo unit it could really use alot of updating.When we arrived and went in the bedroom it smelled of musty water which we found out that the shower was leaking into the closet and by the looks of it had been for awhile.The paint on the walls in the bedroom in a couple of spots were chipping and falling off.There was black cobwebs hanging from the ceiling and alot of things in the unit were dusty.The fold out couch in the livingroom is really old to the point of when you sit on it you almost fall through and the springs in a couple of spots were almost poking through the mattress.The bedding and towels in this unit are really old and faded.The only thing in this condo that was new was the kitchen and it was nice.This unit has lots of beach supplies and coolers which came in really handy.Being on the bottom floor it was a huge bonus for this unit as we have 2 kids that could go out and run around and play on the grass that was all fenced in and safe.As for coming back to stay at this condo we would but not in this unit!

Mark your place was great! Very impressed with all the features. Four boggie boards in the closet, 2 coolers, beach chairs, sand toys, balls ect. Loved the beautiful grounds and pool. Couldn't have been any better and we will do it again. Thanks

We really enjoyed the stay at the Maui Sunset. Everything advertised is as it says it is. For the cost you are getting more than what you are expecting. This is a very kid user friendly place to stay. The unit is located in the perfect spot for letting the kids play off the lanai. It's not much of a walk to the beach area, pool or grill area. There is plenty of space and all the comforts of home to make it an enjoyable stay. The in-unit washer/dryer is a wonderful convenience. Owner answers all questions and has an awesome webpage. I just want to say thank you to the owners for having this wonderful property available and when we decide to come back to Maui we will definitely call you again. Thank you so much!!!!!! My wife and I first visited the Maui Sunset in 1998, and returned every year since. The Maui Sunset offers a true relaxing atmosphere with access to any activity you may be interested in. After significant searching we located and purchased this beautifully remodelled unit to use and share with our guests. From experience we insisted on a ground floor unit where we can stroll to the pool, watch our kids from the lanai, or socialize without a trip down the elevator. We hope our guests will enjoy our place as much as we have!
