Great Deal

The house was just as listed. We booked here because of the location, the space, the hot tub and the price. The cabin is close to the Village entrance, and we were able to walk there a few times. We could have walked to the Bowling Barn too if we wanted. The price was great for the size and location. The kids were able to go in the front yard and play in the snow. The hot tub was very clean. The bedrooms were clean, with all white linens that felt like you were in a hotel. The rooms were however very hot. We turned the heat down, but the living room got really cold. There were plenty of blankets to use and a fireplace (but we didn't try it.) Overall, we had a great time and definitely felt like we got an amazing deal.

John is a wonderful host and excellent and quick responses. The home is exactly as described. Very clean, comfortable home with excellent hot tub. My family enjoyed the home. The light facing was out and John sent someone to quickly fixed it. Highly recommend.

Great spot

Comfortable and quiet! Great location near the lake and all the Village shopping and restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and John is an excellent host. We will definitely stay here on our next trip.

Great spot.

We had a great visit to Big Bear. Location was fantastic and close to the marina and village. John was great about communicating with us. Hot tub was clean and a huge bonus.

My daughter and I love getting away to the mountains. We want other people to be able to enjoy our place as well.

Why they chose this property

It is two hours from Los Angeles where we live. It is easy to get to, and it is so nice to have the mountain air and the blue skies so close. We love the outdoors and there are so many things to do in Big Bear.

What makes this property unique

It is really nice that you can walk to the water and all the restaurants in the village. The shopping is getting better and better. There is a movie theater and a bowling alley in walking distance. I would guess that there are at least 10 restaurants in walking (no more than 3 blocks) from our house.
