Our oldest son is studying abroad in Rome for the fall semester. Our family of 5 visited him for 12 days. Having such a big family, we decided to rent an apartment, rather than a hotel room, so we could have more room and feel at home. I couldn't have been more pleased with our choice of this apartment. It was just perfect and the views from the second bedroom balcony and kitchen window of St Peter's Basilica were just stunningt!! The apartment was large and very clean, having a master bedroom with a king-size, very comfortable bed and a balcony. There is also a balcony off the living room, which has a couch that converts to a sleeper and a table to dine at. The second bedroom has two twin beds, also very comfortable and the balcony overlooks St. Peter's Basilica!!!! It was so nice to sit on the balcony with a glass of wine and just relax looking at the amazing cupola of St. Peter's. The kitchen was well-stocked with a microwave, cooktop range, american coffee maker and dishwasher. What a nice way to start your day having a cup of coffee at the kitchen table while looking out the large windows at the Basilica!! It was also nice to be able to cook breakfast at home, make lunch or have dinner at home to cut down on dining costs. The bathroom was large with two sinks and a washer/dryer. The apartment also has wifi. The apartment is on the 3rd floor of a secured/locked building, so we felt very safe. There is no elevator. It also is a short walk (less than 10 minutes from the Vatican). There is also a lot of pizzeria's, one even delivers right down the road, the market is also a 10 minute walk. It is very close to the bus stops, so it is easy to get around. Andrea, the landlord was very accommodating. He offered extra towels/linens if my son that is studying in Rome wanted to spend some nights with us. He met us upon arrival with a big smile, helped us with our luggage, showed us around the apartment, gave us some recommendations of sights to see and area markets. He was available anytime we needed him and even emailed us once we got home to thank us. I would highly recommend renting this apartment! I would rent it again in a minute on a return trip to Roma!!! Even though we were only visiting Rome, which was just beautiful and the sites are amazing, we felt like we were Roman's having our own apartment. The views will always be a favorite memory of ours. Thank you so much, Andrea!!! Ciao!!

We recently stayed at this apartment in March of 2010 to visit our daughter that was studying in Rome. This apartment was just wonderful, the view of St. Peter's from the balcony will be one we always remember. The apartment had plenty of room, it was bright and the master bedroom mattress was so comfortable. It is very close to St. Peter's and had a few stores down the road to buy essentials, it was very convenient. Andrea who met us at the apartment was very pleasant and helpful. We would highly recommend this apartment, it is on a hill and there is no elevator, so you have to be prepared for that, but not a bad hike at all. There is an American coffee machine, so you can bring your filters and coffee, which is a nice bonus.

Our week in this lovely apartment at the end of October was our first experience with a vacation apartment rental and it exceeded our expectations. My husband and I were traveling with our 2 daughters, ages 4 and 7, and we were hoping to find affordable accommodations that would allow for the girls to have their own bedroom and better yet, own beds. The apartment provided more than enough space for everyone to spread out. The kitchen is well stocked and hot water holds up for all to take a shower (including a lengthy teenage girl’s shower) The true highlight for the apartment is location, location, location. The apartment’s location keeps it wonderfully quiet, yet it is just steps from a bakery across the street, wonderful shopping, and if you need staples to cook or clean up, a short 5 minute walk to a well stocked market. To the list of restaurants near by (which is available in the apartment) we would add the pizzeria (just 2 blocks away on Via Aurelia 26) where our entire family enjoyed great pizza. Walks to St Peter’s square and Piazza Navona are very easy, but with good walking shoes, we (including the 7 year old) found it quite doable to walk home from the Colisseum area one day and the Trastevere area another, even in October weather. We enjoyed meeting the owner who was readily available to answer questions and meet our needs, including arranging for a large taxi to get us all to the airport very early in the morning. We can’t wait to go back and recommend highly.

Indeed it is a charming appartment. The location is excellent, nearby St. Peters Cathedral: a 5 minute walk. The bus to the centre is easy, but a walk of 20 minutes will bring you at the Pantheon. We fellt at home. And Andrea and Aline are superb hosts. Value for money: a 10!

Just back from our holiday in Rome from 6/5/06 to 12/5/06. The apartment was fantastic, clean and only 10 minutes from St Peters. The view from the balcony was really lovely. Andre and Aline were very nice and although we have been to Rome 3 times before they gave us lots of usefull information. We really enjoyed our time in Rome - thank you!! We have just returned from a wonderful stay in this beautiful apartment in Rome. My family of 6 stayed here very comfortably for the week. The apartment is beautiful, clean, sunny and in great condition. Andrea is very kind, helpful and accomodating. We had our grandson with us and there was a perfectly suitable portable crib with bedding and a great high-chair in the kitchen! It is a 10 minute walk to the Vatican and the view from the living room balcony is unforgettable. It is in a wonderful area to shop at the market, get coffee at a bar, take the bus or metro or go out to eat. All with a rather neighborhood feel, which we particularly enjoyed. We were able to be tourists when we wanted to be and to feel like a local as we shopped for our supper in the nearby market. I would return to this apartment in a heartbeat and I would also recommend it to anyone. Please feel free to email me if you have any questions.

We are a family of 4 -- (two children) and we found the apartment perfectly suited to all of our needs during the week we stayed in Rome. Clean, spacious, air conditioned (necessary for Rome in July!), comfortable, very convenient to St. Peter's and the Vatican Museum as well as accesible to buses to all other locations. Food shops nearby. We would definitely stay here again if in Rome. Andrea is very pleasant and very helpful.

We were a family of five and the apartment was perfect- spacious, bright, and fantastic air conditioning. Up on a hill (so be prepared to walk)- the bakery, meat shop, and coffee bar down the street are wonderful. The view from the veranda (you can sip your espresso in the morning while you gaze at the Basilica) was magnificent. The landord was great, and so helpful. This is the way to see Rome! We pretty much walked everywhere, but did take the metro (easy to figure out) and found a wonderful cab driver. We just returned on Firday and I am still on a high! I can't wait to go back. Please email me and i would be happy to answer any questions. My family and I highly recommend this apartment!

The apartment was wonderful. It's location makes it easy to get to all places. We walked everywhere although if you want to take a bus - the stop is close to the apartment. Andre was very helpful providing a map, directions etc. If you are looking for an apartment to rent in Rome, this is it. Very bright and roomy. The best part is you can enjoy some wine on the baloney while viewing the dome!

The apartment was very spacious and extremely clean and comfortable. In particular, the air conditioning was excellent. It was very well situated for exploring Rome, being close to a central bus route and within ten minutes walk from St Peters. Andrea was very friendly and considerate. His advice to buy a weekly bus ticket saved us a lot of money and hassle. The view from the balcony and kitchen of St Peters dome was unforgettable. As a family of five we would recommend this apartment 100%.

This is a great apartment. Andrea the landlord gave us tips on how to get around and gave us a map of Rome to use. We got a bus pass (E16.00) for the week, walked across the street to the stop and saw the all sites in Rome. There was a pizzeria and meat market down the street. We bought bread, cheese and wine, then sat outside on our balcony with the view of the Vatican's dome. It was next to a busy road, but we still found it relaxing. We hope to go again.

Wonerderful first trip to Rome for family of 4 - 2004. Very convenient location to see Vatican and entire Rome. We walked to St Peter's every day. Accomodations were great (plenty of room and more) for family with access to everything we needed - restaurants, grocery, transportation (bus, train, walking), and household basics. We saw everything and felt that we were living in Rome! Lot's of fun! Can't say enough about the proprietors, very helpful and just great people. You shouldn't worry - this is a nice place. Have a great time; we'd go back! Woomers - call us.
