This gorgeous home was constructed in 2008 and is immaculate, beautiful, and ready to accommodate a small family reunion, executive retreat, or any other vacation combination imaginable. The views of the lake are amazing and the location is just as great. Come for all the fun that Lake Lanier can offer, but don't forsake the surrounding areas to visit as well.
This home away from home is conveniently located just 5 minutes from GA 400 and the North Georgia Premium Outlet Mall. Past that, we are located just 30 minutes from Amicalola Falls State Park and its great hiking and sightseeing opportunities. While you're here, don't forget to check out the Kangaroo Conservation in Dawson County and the many other activities that are available, not only in Dawsonville, but in neighboring cities of Dahlonega, Cumming, and Gainesville. The property is also only about an hour's drive from Atlanta, so stay with us and take in some sights of the big city with a short commute.
This 7 bedroom home will amaze you with its classic and tasteful decor and breathtaking views of the water and surrounding mountains. The house is situated in the middle of a deep water cove that is big enough to accommodate boats, jet skis, and swimmers of all kinds, but just off the main waterway enough to keep heavy boat traffic at bay.
This retreat sleeps 15 and is even equipped with a crib for your little one's comfort. The main level houses the full kitchen, laundry room, half bath, dining, breakfast, and living rooms as well as a great sun room facing the water and surrounded by windows. The master suite is also on the main floor and is fully decorated with a king bed, Jacuzzi tub, 2 walk-in closets and separate linen closet. The sun room is accessible from the family room and the master bedroom. Just off the sun room is a deck fully equipped with a charcoal grill and patio furniture. You will love the views from the deck. Take advantage of them in the early morning and the evening. Nothing beats having your morning coffee on the deck as the mist is lifting off the lake!!
Bedrooms 2, 3, 4, and 5 are located on the second level of the home. Bedroom #2 has its own adjoining bathroom, while the other bedrooms share a central hall bath. Queen beds fill bedrooms #2 and #3, along with walk-in closets, while #4 has a double bed and closet. The view of the lake from bedroom #4 is the best in the house. Bedroom #5 houses a queen bed and a crib.
The lower terrace level of the house comes equipped with a billiard table, air hockey, and efficiency kitchen in the media room with a refrigerator, sink, and microwave. A huge sectional sofa anchors the media room in front of a 50' flat screen TV. One bedroom downstairs has twin-over-double bunk bed set and the second bedroom has two twin beds. This second bedroom also has an adjoining bathroom with a door to the terrace patio. This feature allows you to enter the bathroom from outside the house. It's really nice to immediately enter the bathroom and get cleaned up after a relaxing swim or exhilarating boat ride. A second full bath is located in the hallway for easy access from the media/gaming area or the first bedroom.
This house truly has it all. The kitchen is fully stocked, as well as the linen closets, for bed and bath. The dock is ready for your boat and water toys. We guarantee you will love your stay!

The house felt very comfortable, was immaculately clean and everyone loved it. If your inteseted in staying on lake Lanier it's well worth checking out. Although this is truely in the country, new shopping center is only a few miles away.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

Just spent the w/e in this beautiful home for a couple's retreat. I have stayed in many mountain home properties and this is probably the nicest one. The home itself and the architecture were beautiful. I loved all the little details that made this home stand out. All of the furnishings and the decor were not only beautiful, but comfortable as well. My very favorite spot was the sunroom were I sat each morning to do my Bible study. Also the use of space was impeccable with the little bistro tables in the sunroom. Plenty of dining space for 14 people or more. I did not want to leave. We hope to be back again!!Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway.

This beautiful home has been the site for our Ladies Retreat for the past two years. The house and grounds are immaculate and wonderfully designed. Our group consists of women ranging in ages from 35 to 80 and there is something for everyone! Whether it was fishing on the private dock, relaxing with a favorite movie or catching up on TV time there is ample room to fellowship together, sit alone with a good book or enjoy the breath-taking view of the lake. We were within 10 minutes away of grocery, retail and traditional drug stores, movies, restaurants and for the "shoppers" a great outlet mall. The drive into Atlanta would have been a breeze, but no one wanted to leave. I would recommend this home for family vacations, several couples who travel together or getaways for groups of women or men.Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway.

Our family just rented this home during the period immediately following the 4th of July weekend and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The owners are a pleasure to deal with, and the home is immaculate. Located directly on a quiet cove of Lake Lanier it has easy access to the main lake and we had a blast with our boat. The home is enormous and while we had four adults and four teenagers we never felt the least bit crowded. High recommend this home to anyone considering renting on Lanier....just dont rent it when we want it!!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, families with young children.

This was our first visit to this house. I've stayed at many vrbo homes over the years and I was so very pleased with this house particularly. It met my standard of cleanliness, which is very hard to do. I didn't get dirty feet walking on the floors which is always the case in rentals. And, the bathrooms were so clean! That's a huge issue with me and rentals... cleanliness. This surpassed my expectations. The house is beautifully decorated, the kitchen is fully stocked with everything you'd need and more. They even have a foreman grill which was great! The sun room was so perfect in the mornings overlooking the lake. And unlike other places I've rent on Lake Lanier, they actually have a backyard leading to the dock compared to the usual drastic drop off with lots of stairs. There were 5 of us and we all had our own bedroom and bathroom. This was such a great place to stay. I'd recommend it except that I want to keep it my little secret.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

We were very fortunate to have found this property to rent as we celebrated my daughter's graduation. We were able to have family come in from out of town and we all stayed together. This is so much more than a rental property. It is an amazing, beautiful and extremely comfortable home. There is nothing that we needed. Everything was there for us, CLEAN and ready to use. This property is amazing!! The owner is so helpful; she was a pleasure to work with. I will continue to recommend this property to my friends and relatives. It is so perfect for family gatherings. There is plenty of room for everyone and plenty of spaces to be together and yet quiet places to read or just take in the beauty of the surroundings. I would rate this A++!!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children.

About the owner: My family and I are native to Dawson County going back at least 5 generations. Our little corner of the world is very important to us and we would like the opportunity to show people from all over the country what a great hideaway we have in Dawsonville, Georgia. From the lakes to the mountains, and from Summer to Winter, we love it here and want to give others the chance to come to love it too.
Why the Owner Chose Dawsonville:
For generations, my family has enjoyed Lake Lanier on this property that we are now listing for rent. In 2007, we began construction on this house on a lake lot that has been in our family for over 50 years. This new house was our attempt to better our property and provide others with an opportunity to enjoy what we have loved for years and years - Lake Lanier.

Our property is the perfect getaway for a number of different reasons. The home is large enough to host a sprawling family reunion, a business retreat for top executives, or a lake vacation for a smaller family who wants an intimate setting on Lake Lanier.
