  We were excited about our family vacation we take every year with sisters, Mother and extended family members. Once we arrived at the property and walked in the house we were pleasantly surprised by the space and cleanliness of the house. It was great! We were minutes from the beach and great places to eat. We have been going to Ft Pierce every year for the last 15 years, always having fun, but this year was the best. We were able to have our rooms, bathrooms, eat & cook together while being very comfortable. We will return. We recommend this VRBO completely.

  What a wonderful month spent at the Jack Island house. I celebrated my birthday all month with different family members and friends taking turns each week. We swam, went boating, fishing, hiking, visited museums and had spa time ! The house was perfect for all ages and was able to comfortably fit our very large group. When you have that many people there are always things that come up and the property manager Tarrah was awesome. She handled things professionally and expediently. Tarrah made our stay go smoothly. If you are looking for a large place to spend with family or friends we recommend contacting Tarrah about the Jack Island house.

  We have a large group and renting a home in the past has been difficult to say the least. Problem solved! As with any large group room to enjoy yourself without disturbing the neighbors impossible to find. Problem solved! Everyone enjoy our time at Jack Island and look foward to returning soon. The house was spacious with every bedroom having its own bathroom galour. The cottage house came in handy for Grandpa and Grandma to get away. The beach is close and the house had everything we needed. The absolute best thing about the house is the privacy. The gates at the entrance to the preserve and the house give you a sense of security. The kids fished from the dock and out of the canoe and can not wait to go back. I can not say enough to do this property justice. I found communication to excellent when booking our stay and had no problems anywhere along the way. Look foward to returning some day soon

  This house is incredible. It is huge. We had several families together in the house. We never had an issue with lack of space. The pool is beautiful, as well as the surrounding patio area. I did a lot of fishing. The canoe and dock really came in handy. There are children's toys everywhere. Bikes for all ages, razor scooters, pool toys, a foosball table and countless other toys and activities. We had a wonderful time. I would recommend this place to anyone. Tarrah was absolutely wonderful. Anytime i had any questions she would promptly get back to me. We needed a stroller, since there was not one on the property, she had arranged to have one dropped of before our arrival.

  The only down side to our week is the fact that the Nature Reserve was closed for renovations. The house was gorgeous, the pool was wonderful ( I hate chlorine) . Everything in their "brochure" was as it says. It felt as if you have your own private island. Close enough to get what you needed, but far enough away for the hustle and bustle to disappear. We ate from what was caught from the dock in the back. We saw otters and dolphin right from the dock and patio! Our family would return tomorrow if possible!

  This is a fabulous property & home, espeically the home with its huge, bright & sunfilled living & dining rooms, a large well stocked kitchen with lots of dishes, cutlery, pots & pans & utensils, & many bedrooms & bathrooms. We enjoyed our days swimming in the pool, soaking up the sun by the pool or the ocean, long walks on the beach, golfing & hiking nearby, shopping in Stuart & some bike riding. In the evenings, we enjoyed some delicious bar-b-qued dinners & watched the fish jumping & the sun going down over the adjacent river. We also enjoyed some delicious dinners in the restaurants along the marina in Fort Pierce. Although most of our group of six were in our sixties, there is something for everyone, young & old at this wonderful location. Also management was very helpful in seeing that everything was to our satisfaction.

  This property was spacious, private, well-maintained and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with everything needed to make meals. The bedbrooms were large and comfortable with bathrooms that had beautiful fixtures. We liked the toilets behind the closed doors. The view of the canal was spectacular morning and night. The property manager responded quickly to all our inquiries ie: new BBQ, the repairing of the food disposal unit and wired the phone properly for our use. I would definitely recommend this property to my family and friends.

  This house was everything we wanted. Our family ranges from 68 years to 16 months all it was perfect for everyone. Plenty of room to spread out too.( There were 12 of us !) The property is just like the photo and bird watching on the lagoon was fun for all! The proximity to the Jack Island Preserve made walking and running a special treat. The property was spotless and well maintained and the owner most helpful in answering all our questions. Fort Pierce and shopping is nearby. My only regret was that the air and water temp of the large pool was so cold that we were unable to swim in it ( but the otters didn't seem to mind). The small pool got hot and was enjoyed by all.

  Great Place for a couple families to get together, We had two families there and it worked out great! HUGE kids room..... VERY VERY kid friendly.... Still smiling after a month of comming home --- GOOD TIMES!!!

  This house was absolutely perfect for our Family Reunion. Everyone had enough space to feel comfortable, yet at the same time get together as a family for meals or visiting. We were a group of 18 (max), who usually rented three separate 2 BR condo's. Being under one roof was so much better. We had the same # of bedrooms and bathrooms, yet we were able to visit with one another and enjoy each other's company, without losing the privacy everyone needs. All this, plus all the other recreational activities available in the area - beach, snorkeling, scuba divign, intercoastal boating, bicycle zones, kayaking/canoeing, the list goes on.
