This beautiful lakeside home in a quiet gated-community on Lake Arrowhead and makes for a great escape for you and your family and friends. Located in Waleska, Georgia, just 1 hour north of Atlanta and nestled in the foothills of the Great Smokey Mountains.
Just steps from the lake, this house is your home away from home. This large home is beautifully decorated with spacious rooms and lots of lighting. Floor to ceiling windows give you a magnificent view of the lake. Enjoy your meals and entertain your guests on the over-sized two-tier deck with even better views of the lake. Relax in the hammock and enjoy your morning coffee! Planning a visit over the colder months…gather around the fire pit with your friends and family to stay warm and still enjoy the outdoors. (The house is approximately 1000 yards from the house)
The first floor features the master bedroom (queen bed) and bath with large walk-in closet; a guest room (queen bed); full bath; dining room table with seating for 8; living room area with tv/dvd/stereo/cable and a fireplace; fully stocked open kitchen; and a washer & dryer.
The second floor features the 3rd bedroom with 4 single wooden beds and a loft area overlooking the living room area with a view of the lake and a queen bed.
Outside, enjoy the patio equipped with a gas grill; HUGE 2-tier deck with an amazing hammock, fire pit, a bar with seating, 2 tables with umbrellas and seating, and lounge chairs.
Take a swim, rent a boat, go for a bike ride, go for a hike on one of the 3 new hiking trails or just relax at the house and take in the beautiful scenery! Do as much or as little as you like…after all, it is YOUR vacation…we just want to give you all the options!

About the lake: Lake Arrowhead is the largest, man-made, privately-owned lake in Georgia, with approximately 540 acres. The maximum water depth is 80 feet, allowing plenty of fish to swim the deep waters. Fishers can catch an array of different fish species such as catfish, bass and bream just to name a few.
No matter the season…this is a great vacation spot!

We stayed at this home for a month and truly enjoyed it! The home is classy, with large windows in the main room providing amazing views of Lake Arrowhead. The two bedrooms downstairs are comfortable and accomodating, and the kids had a blast upstairs! The kitchen was well supplied for cooking anything and we really felt at home in the community. We hiked almost every day in the Wilderness Trail. I have special memories of our family crossing streams and seeing deer. The pools were fun and refreshing, and we loved the tennis courts! Thank you so much for a spectacular vacation!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

This community, location, home and view is absolutely more than we expect... every time! We've been lucky enough to obtain this rental each time we visit Lake Arrowhead. The house has all the amenities that we could ask for (space, appliances, tv, cable, wifi, deck, deck ammenities, and access to the public dock on the lake)! In addition, we appreciate that our dogs can enjoy the vacation with us, which means there are no boarding fees associated with our travels. Plus, those babies are our children. We want them to travel with us. On a side note: the neighbors are all friendly and welcoming to new visitors. It's quite the home away from home!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

I had wanted a home on a lake for a long time and was fortunate enough to be at a point in my life where I could make it a reality! After searching on several lakes I finally came across this home and absolutely loved it and just had to have it. I have been coming every chance I get since 2005 with friends and family and have had many many good time here.
